You need to use the upswing method when launching, I went from 11.2 to 10.9, it massively improves your 60ft. Have IE switch your launch control to 2000rpm if you can’t do it from the fly like 034

@@VancityAudi lol, I hear you on that when it comes to modern day tune terminology. For some reason back in 2014, APR stage 2 was considered single pulley and a tune. Hopefully I can get that sorted out though, it's just not the same (at least from what I've seen on youtube). hmmm this kinda makes me think that maybe something isn't right with mine either. People have checked my box codes and confirmed it should have LC enabled but still I can never get it to enable, so all I can do is go from the brake to the accelerator with my right foot. It's pretty slow off the line.
I’m dual pulley e40 ie I never have a problem launching on my big fat 20x10.5 vossen wheels, it hooks up nice really nice wcs I barely spin and hook up immediately I’ve only had a few wheel hop/short shifts ever and even then it wasn’t this bad. My car is slow though from this and where I live, I can’t even break into 11s on the street. Maybe a different wheel tire setup might help on or launch I’m not sure but I think you’ll figure it out eventually!
You summed that up very nicely! You use 20 x 10.5 inch wheels, have no issues launching the car, yet you're slow, lol. Massive wheels and tires will slow you down like crazy. If you want to go quicker and faster you need smaller wheels and smaller tires.

how does this compare to the ea838 in terms of bang for buck and reliability? I have a b9.5 sq5 and hesitant to flash it after reading some post about cylinder 6 failures. The b8/8.5 seems like a fun car for the money and with the dual pulley it looks like a really fun car. Just seems like dual pulley is more or less the realistic limit for performance mods.
The potential for speed and power is WAY greater with the EA839. The B8/8.5 are fun, but nowhere near as capable as the B9. Yes, there have been a ton of engine failures in the B9/9.5 community, but less and less are taking place these days now that some of the tuners have figured out the issues.
