I just had my daughter via ivf, I’m 53. I had my last daughter also via ivf at 48. We had our embryos created with donor eggs about 5 years ago.

@@rajeevish I was on the fence at the beginning and had so many doubts about whether I would bond with the baby. Your de child will be biologically yours as a doctor pointed out to me. I read so many peoples stories and experiences which helped, and let me tell you, I love these kids so much, I feel like my heart will explode. You’ll be great! Good luck and baby dust to you!

It’s just so hard to find a good egg over the age of 40 no matter how many eggs you have. If sperm was from the testicle and poor quality consider a fresh sperm procedure or use a sperm donor then if that doesn’t work consider an egg donor.

@@EggWhisperer I am now 43 I started my ivf journey at 41. First round non of my eggs made it to blast (no supplements) . 2nd round after vax plus supplements my eggs basically disintegrated upon extraction. 3 eggs fertilized no blast. Last cycle. Took a ton of supplements increased Coq10 to 600 11 eggs retrieved 10 fertilized but by day 3 only 2 looked freezable. both were transferred n I did get pregnant but missed most likely bc of egg quality. I have no more insurance but I might bc able to get more if I change insurance. Idk whether to give up or keep going. I’m lost. I really want to give my son a sibling but I used donor sperm n don’t want to use a donor egg

I froze my eggs at 36. I'm now 44 and want to use the eggs. I was able to harvest 16 eggs at 36.
My new job pays for 4 IVF cycles, yay! Should I start a whole new IVF cycle at my current age (AMH 1.6) or should I just use my frozen 16 eggs?

And I would start embryo creation from your 36 year old eggs and if not enough normal embryos for the family size you want, see if IVf now could work

I know. You’re not alone. It doesn’t cross our minds that it could be a problem. I hope it isn’t for you though but knowing your levels and seeing a fertility doc right away is the way to go

You can do IVF at age 50 and up, according to Dr. Aimee and all these specialists. You just need a supportive spouse. Low AMH and no egg out put means you have to ask for a donor. Get on a wait list. That's what this channel is for. If you are lucky enough to have a few of children, you make sacrifices and hopefully one of them becomes a nun or a priest... which blesses you in your old age...
