I am 45 and already have children but was thinking lately to go for another one but I afraid that I am too old to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy child. If I may ask, how was your pregnancy at such age?
I wish i could go back abd forth to NYC because a lot of facilities dont do the same things this facility does. I asked other IVF Drs about the scratch and embryo glue to help them stick and they had no idea what I was talking about.
Thank you so much for this video. I would love an update. I don’t see any new news on this despite it being 3 years. I was hoping this would be more common knowledge by now with more results across multiple clinics.

@@CenterforHumanReproduction Very interesting article - I myself is currently 48 and on a IVF cycle which Im definitely going to share this information with my endocrinologist. Im not a Dr but definitely get the concept in how it was explained about doing the egg retrieval in older women much sooner I get it and it totally makes sense when you think about it. If older women retrieval are done at the same growth rate as a younger women it’s almost as if the egg is overcooked sort of speak which that makes total sense to remove them early so they wouldn’t be considered “overcooked”, Im glad you shared this video and the link to your site with this information on there it definitely give older women hope and again it makes total since.
Is there a way to access these journals and studies. I dont know if my dr does practise early egg retrieval, but for my treatment I would like to suggest this practise Thanks
It is odd and unfortunate, in my opinion, that CHR does not accept insurance. Imagine all the women they could help if they did. Praying they change that part of their practice.
I wish I could afford for you to help me!!! Just did my first IVF and it failed. I am 44...I was talking to my doctor about what you said about doing a 3 day transfer and he was ok with it up until retrieval and then changed his mind, so we needed up doing a 5 day transfer...all of my eggs stopped growing on day 3...

Thank you for sharing this video. I live in South Africa and turn 43 in Sept this year. I've recently been diagnosed with a low AMH of 0.07 and subsequently advised that donor egg was my only option to conceive. This is the first time I am attempting to get pregnant (March '18) and have no experience with any assisted fertility treatments. Is it possible to get an online consultation to assess my options?

How much does an IVF with this method cost in your clinic? Does it been used in other countries, too? I am asking because USA is very far for me and i imagine too expensive. It's a pity that i did not know this before my IVF as i had 23 eggs at the age of 43 and 11 emvrios. Unfortunately only two of them grew up enough and when we cheque them, they had genetic problem.
I am about to be 46 and here in Boston most Ivf centers don’t want to use your own egg. I would love to used my own egg seems I had a natural birth 3 years ago and get my tubes tied. Need his info
Wow...Thanks Doc. This info has given me some hope of seeing my baby. I'm 41 and live in India. I've had 3 failed IVFs and i most probably think it could be because my eggs were retrieved when they were around 20 mm or more. But my question is, if the eggs are overcooked as u say, do u think they can form good embryos. Because, in my case i got few (4) embryos in all the IVF cycles, but after implanting inside the uterus, those embies couldn't grow and eventually led to miscarriage. Do u think it could be coz of such overcooked eggs? I have this doubt coz naturally i'm getting pregnant. But i have blocked tubes, so twice it became ectopic pregnancy. so i used to think, why in IVF i dont get a positive pregnancy.
I am not a doctor but i know that you can check them before you plant them because if they have DNA disorders they can not leet to a normal pregnancy. It is a genetic check. I do not not if it is from the size the problem. I feel you, l had similar problem. I wish the best for you
My friend just has a healthy baby girl at 48.
@yogalifestyle9372 That is amazing that how blessed your friends is. How was the pregnancy. Was there any unwanted complications.
I got pregnant at 48 naturally.

So what are the success rate of pregnancy for this method in age 44-45? And of that success rate how many end up in live birth?
So do we trigger at 16mm or retrieve at 16mm, which means trigger at 14mm?

Any current updates
But what if you started menopause
At 5:40-5:49. "...we ended up with more embryos that we could transfer....".
That means they can only transfer 1 or 2 at a time ...the rest are frozen for later transfer...not discarded unless the parents request that.
I will talk to my doctor about this .
Can I have information on your clinic? I would like to be your patient

My amh is 2.08 but my embryo stopped dividing at day 5.
@gardeningcatzone2803 they made it to day 5, that’s all it needed for blastocyst right. So why is the issue ?
There’s so much age discrimination for women.
Why is it not 50% from the sperm?
God i wish he had an office near me
Thank you

Not from the US
Why? Because a lot of women after 43 are not trying to get pregnant is one reason.
That's true. And many abort because they don't want babies anymore.
