Also about the background character, Ruby were in the background because while the darkness taking over earth, some other concept I draw were either 2 ruby, i like the concept of blue pearl even it made me a bit rage because it took more then 3 hour to finish her concept but I think it look good, what I hate mostly is the emoji laughing face, I got that idea from April fool 2023 where it show some emoji face smiling while pibby and bun bun were running away from them, i try to make exactly like that because the darkness were laughing because of mocking lapis lazuli to even mostly powerful gem but easily to manipulate her emotions. (Edit: i was planning on putting more gem character from background character from Steven universe the future season, but that plan isn't gonna work because it gonna take more hour to draw the concept from other gem
While bf was at earth pibby was at gem homeworld with other survivor (Peridots Lapis lazuli Lion and Connie) but lapis lazuli got left out leaving some horrible moments while many other gem (were corrupted by darkness) try to find a solution, there no yellow diamond blue diamond and white diamond nowhere to be found, I'm gonna leave that point
There a lot of thing to say, first of all I'm not really good mostly because either I try to get the idea from original pibby body part which is why it look corny but a bit normal, second of all peridots concept either a bit small line because I try to trace her concept from original style from Steven universe, the only good concept I'm mostly proud of is lapis lazuli concept, i made it form original concept before Steven Future, mostly because from learning with pibby either some people who were corrupted were turn into original and perfect concept from the show not showing either a survivor concept but only original character from a show
