How did it go?
Waiting for FAA background check now. Then I have to lease a truck... 🤞🏾🙏🏾
Excellent video! Don't worry I already subscribed. Im from Chicago also and i'm just starting out. Most are saying that Amazon Relay for box truck is where the money is. Is that true? 2. Im having a lot of trouble finding a box truck to rent. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Im looking to start in one month.
Thanks for watching and subscribing. Box trucks are on waiting list across the country at rental companies. Amazon Relay is give and take and can vary. Releasing a video later today on Amazon Relay. My suggestion is to research this lane very carefully as there is a higher cost to entry now and market saturation on top of a shortage on equipment. So entering you need a strong game plan mapped out in order to reduce the learning curve as the margins are even smaller now.
Hey Mark, Appreciate the info your putting out. I’m considering doing final mile, but would like to set my own schedule. Do most of these companies work that way? Or once your under contract, they make your schedule for you? I hear “Need it now”.allows you to set when and when you don’t want to work. Also would like to do just final mile business drops. Any suggestions? Much appreciated!!!Thanks
Hi Banos! Thank for watching my content. Subscribe to the channel if you haven’t done so already. So some final mile companies when you sign on your contracted for 5-6 days a week. So for example, if your running For a logistics company and they have you running Lowes then you’d be contracted for 5-6 days where you have to report for load up at a certain time and do route until completion. Select Express allows you to work when you want and except which jobs you want and decline others. I’ve never contracted with Need It Now so I can’t speak on them. Most appliance and furniture contracts the logistics company will require you to run 5-6 days consecutively as the volume is there and they need trucks and bodies.
Thanks Mark, Just one more question. You mentioned they have u running 5-6 days a week. Is that just a week at a time or is the duration negotiated when putting the contract together? Much appreciated! I just subscribed
@@banoslogistics665 Banos it’s ongoing. If you get with XPO or JB Hunt and they put you on a major contract like Home Depot or Lowes you will have guaranteed work 5-6 days a week. 15-20 stops a day guaranteed if you are in a good market. Those contracts have plenty of work. Or even Wayfair. So your schedule be the same everyday. Start at 5:30am or 6am to load up and completion is when the route is done which varies day to day.
Quick question in order to make money do you have to have a helper or somebody who is reliable or you can work by yourself
Hello. You would need a helper for this particular account.
Is there one where you just pick up and only drop off appliances/furniture and No installation? Thanks
Hello. Not that I can think of. But I know most appliance contracts require at least two people.
Hey mark, thanks for your content. I could use your help. I do final mile deliveries for a company contracted with Estes. Do you know of a way to work directly with Estes or Home Depot? I want to set up My own warehouse and trucks. Is there a way to contract on directly to the shippers or manufacturers?
Thanks for your time Mark.
Hello. Thanks for watching. These large retailers only contract out with the big boys and the big boys contract to independents. In order to deal with the retailer directly, you’d have to build a national network of contractors that would be able to fulfill volume on a national level. That would include warehousing, trucks, contractors etc.
Hey Mark thanks for the response. Makes perfect sense. I do have the warehouse, drivers and trucks but I’m having trouble understanding who to reach out to to cut out the middle man. I’m ok not directly working with the retailers however I do want to work under the shippers providing the B2C. I know that down here Lowes contracts their final mile to Spirit Delivery. Who has the infrastructure but I can also provide a good infrastructure. So who do I go with? Who can I contact?
Thanks again.
@@keithferro1807 You can try a company called NonStop Delivery out of Virginia. They contract to companies that have warehousing.
Bro!!!! What’s up with your volume. Who’s editing your videos? Hard to catch the nuggets due to poor volume….
Hello. I’ve only been doing RUclips four months. This particular video is older and one of my earlier videos. Quality is way better now. Everyone has to start from somewhere and get better as they grow. Same with the box truck game.
Do you know if this company lease their trucks out like UST ?
Thanks for watching! Hello. No. They do not.
Do you know if this company works with Sprinter vans? 🙏🏻
Not sure if this company. US Pack does though. Check that out.
Do a review on foward air or is this the same ?
Hello. Yes. Same company just different division.
@@markthementor I want to get in the industry just doing research I don’t want to be the person that double back cause they jumped in just cause other people say there’s money to be made. I want to be sure of what I’m doing
How many box trucks would u recommend to start out with if wanting to start with something like this?
One. Get in learn the ins and outs then scale.

@@mercedesbenzs600bash Hello. Thanks for watching. Select Express is a logistics specializing in final mile delivery. They have a website www.selectexp.com
@@markthementor Much appreciated 🙏🏾

@@markthementor Nice...
What do you think of the jb hunt final mile?
Hello. I haven’t heard any serious complaints about it.
@markthementor they are saying it pays 3k a week and I need a 2 man team. Do I pay my teammate, or do they handle their pay?
@@benjaminthedford3235 You pay. You are a contractor. This is a contractor opportunity not employee.
Did you say this is appliance install?
Yes.
dont you need a totally different authority and insurance to run that account
A totally different authority compared to what? DOT and MC.
are installations mandatory for final mile?
Depends on the account your working on. Appliances contracts most likely yes. IKEA no.
10-4 Would my company be able to pick the contracts that we work?
I have a good Driver in place but he would not be a good fit for install services.
@@kennythomas4008 That all depends on where the need is at for the logistics company that you apply with.
Do they do hair follicle test for pre employment
Hello. Not sure for this company. You can inquire within prior to applying. Thank you for watching. 💯
what is a final mile company?
Final mile is last mile delivery.
Do you receive the sign on bonus after 6 months ?
Good question. They probably handle it like most companies and split it in quarters and give you 1/4 of the bonus every three months until its paid in full after 12 months.
My Guy......

Brother can I reach out to you on private?
