- We take a look at the Brand New 47T from Freeman Boatworks! We do a walk through of the boat and then a sea trial. It’s the biggest high performance fishing catamaran on the market and reaches speeds approaching 80 mph! It was a head turner at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2020.

Capt Stan, I used to work that boat show going back to Dinner Key in the Grove, before it moved to the Miami Beach Convention Center, and Behind Miami Hearld. OH boy, the Swag we got from the vendors was Grand 😁

I agree it’s a lot of high end boat. But at the end of the day it’s a CC. Nothing looks better. But it’s a fishing machine only. Soooo many diesel Hatteras boats for that price point
Much rather have an older Buddy Davis or an old Outer Banks boat. Way less tech with the same, if not more, fish in the box. I have worked at Spectre when they were building CC’s and Intrepid. Always hiding “GREMLINS” From day one.

I think you made a good decision with the 37 Freeman. You’re able to keep your prices competitive, and not eliminate some of your clients. I was in South Florida and went out for Sailfish, but after seeing you, and all your footage, I can’t wait to head further south and check out Bud and Mary’s Marina. I really like the 42 Freeman Scott Martin just purchased! #staysafe #tightlines

I think only you can determine if that boat is worth it and if you could get $4-$5 k a trip from your client base...The one thing that stood out in my mind was the rod locker storage doors are upside down. Who wants to be on their hands and knees retriving or stowing equipment? They should open down, not up..cool vid, hope to see yinz in a week. Tight lines 😎
I agree on the orientation of the rod locker doors. seems more efficient that they would fall down to reach into. but... Ive never designed a boat, so who am I to talk.
Someone once told me that when it came to boats like this one, that if you have to ask “How Much?” Its not for you. In Charleston you’ve got a long way to go to get to the stream and this thing would make that trip a breeze.

Nice boat. They used to make Freemans right by my parent's neighborhood on James Island before they moved to Summerville. I'd love to own one but it's not in the plan. Fun to dream though!

Yeah while the big cats offer massive deck space they are lacking the space for a stand up head in the console for obvious reasons. But I bet Freeman will or already has figured it out.

Freeman Boats..for those that want to spend a million dollars on a boat, and not have a cabin..or even a head..
They have an option for a head most people don't get one though.
The new 46 Invincible has one. I was surprised to see it. Now, I change my mind about the Cats.
Because it’s a fishing boat they use every inch of space for storage and they know if your a real fishermen you don’t need a cabin. I would definitely take this boat. Freeman’s are most likely one of the best rideing boats out there

Here in the UK fisherman (sorry chaps you know it’s true) tend to be a scruffy bunch on scabby diesels loaded with kit to sit off a wreck in howling wind and rain.
In Florida the first thing I see you doing is putting on sunscreen, we’re not troubled by that in February. Give me a nice 32’ Centre Cockpit and I’d use it to visit every pub and restaurant in The Solent. That should take me a few years to complete.
Great boat you have there and she is supremely flat at speed. Love to see you boys do a practice Man Over Board at 50 knots and see how long it takes to recover them....

In my opinion, You should Purchase it. It’s just my opinion, I’m more of a speed guy. But it’s your decision. I own a Invincible with Quad Merc 400’s. I purchased it as I’m just more of a guy that enjoys going fast.

@@yessuhyessuh2100 exactly my point..it's a fishing boat with the price tag of a yacht... i don't believe adding a Toilet would effect the performance from 1600 hp motors... or the Stability, so I call that BS. I believe it has to do with the cat design... sea vee has a head on center consoles i believe freemen could too..
