hey guys, can someone pls explain me why there is such a strong flow and big waves at the haulover inlet? has it something to do with the tide?
There's a huge amount of water moving through the inlet during tide changes. This is true of all inlets in S FL, but some are worse than others because of the depth of the inlet, and the distance between inlets (more flow if they're farther apart). Jupiter Inlet is pretty notorious as well, but Palm Beach Inlet isn't bad because it's wide and deep to allow large ships.

14:00 anchor swinging around can't be good.
How these outboards do not get hydrolocked always amazes me. They must have amazing water separation in the intakes and I am curious how it is done. Especially when there is a high bow lift and the stern dunks in to water. Obviously status hinges on how many can be crammed on the back and with 5 of them the 2 precariously perched on the outside must get a lot of spray. Nothing much changes whatever they try to tell us and clearly here as ever the men like to show off their boats and outboard motor collection and the girls show off what comes naturally.

Now that the internet is in most corners of the world I wonder what those in Gaza or other highly impoverished places think when they watch this. Some of those boats would consume more gasoline on a days outing than an entire village would in a year.
