Say what you say, about THP, but the production is phenomenal. In good headphones, that sound architecture is insane. And let's not forget about the insane intro. Notice how Malakian is "fighting" with Rob. Both are playing so fast, Malakian is making his colorful guitar work, when Rob is punching his drum kit so hard and oh man, that DOUBLE BASS. THAT FOOT WORK IS BEYOND AMAZING.
I really feel bad for LP because they have the hardest fan base to please. No matter what they do, everyone has to complain and whine and continually say "I want another HT and Meteora, not this new stuff". The fact is you're not getting another HT or Meteora because they evolve their sound with every album and every new album sounds different than all of the other ones before it. So why don't we all just support the music they're making and stop whining about what they sound like.
This was always one of my favorite Linkin Park songs, it honestly surprised me how underrated it was. I guess some people are too stubborn to realize Linkin Park is so much more than Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Oh well, it's their loss, the rest of us will be here jamming.
If not for the vocals, I would have guessed this was a System of a Down song. I didn't think Daron was going to change the band's sound as much as he did.
Gabriel McDowell My comment is probably a bit late, but if you liked the opening riff you should really listen to System of a Down. Daron Malakin is their lead guitarist and Songwriter :)
This is underrated in unbeliavable levels. I may be judged, but for me this song deserves to be *at least* on the top 3 of the most viewed of the band, it has one of the better chorus i have ever heard, and i have listened to hundreds
Don't listen to all these people who are stuck in the early 2000's. This album is sounding awesome so far. My favorite albums of LP are meteora and living things.
SSJ1Igor reading your comments, i get the impression you're either still in highschool and were probably still in diapers when meteora came out, or just incredibly unintellegent, i have many friends that were listening to them back in Hybrid theory and meteora days, and we agree that while this is a great improvement over their last 2 albums its still nowhere near metal enough to even be considered Nu-metal and not pop-rock..
Been a fan of Linkin Park since 2003. And I can say they're only getting better and better. They're not "growing up", they're not "moving on", they're EVOLVING. Living Things was both lyrically and musically more advanced and complex than Hybrid Theory, and if you don't agree, you're either an angsty 15 year old kid or an adult who never really grew out of his angsty teenager phase.
actually you're the one behaving teenage "style" putting people arbitrary in "this 15 year old kid mode" ....maybe living things was lyrically advanced (cause i heared the whole album) but not musically. Certainly not ! Even i'm a linkin park fan, i hate a thousand suns and living things, cause its just some kind of good linkin park soul, but with a disturbing "david guetta" techno style. I exagerate a bit maybe, but they called those two albums electro experimentation. They exagerate even more than me. Being a linkin park fan makes me respect the group, but i also have the right ( as a fan) to hate some of their materials. i don't hate them but i hate what they have done from 2010 (and maybe 2007). This NEW album (hunting party) is not even like hybrid theory or meteora. We (real old LP fans) don't want hybrid theory back or meteora back. We want back what's the essence, the DNA of the group (what they can't deny) : this rock/heavy/metal agressivity. We want musical complexity, but not with disturbing night club electro sounds in some songs like the catalyst in the album " a thousand suns". this album have a real soul from what i can hear. They improvise. They play without doubts, without questionning. They just know where they are going right now. For me in " a thousand suns" and "the living things", they were not experimenting, they were losing themselves . NOW, they are experimenting things...
***** you're right maybe i didn't explained well. but in the end , experiment or not, ATS and TLS were both a music failure (i'm not talking about how much copies they sold but about the music they have produced in 2010-2012)
I wouldn't say Imma fan, but when Hybrid Theory was released we've all banged our fucking heads, but after (in my opinion) the failure called Meteora I lost my focus on LP except the radio-singles, but I have to admit, that I consider A Thousand Suns as a great piece of audio experience. Peace!
+forgotten games I wiiish they'd gone for an optimal performance from Chester on A Line in the Sand. Mike's part and the music - oh god, the music - are some of the best they've ever done. But Chester's part completely ruins the song for me with its off-key screaming. I can't stand listening to it. ._.

So many of their songs have a deeper meaning now. Chester, you were my absolute idol. I love listening to your music when I feel low (and not so low), I will never forget the impact you have had on my life for so many years. You and Linkin Park. RIP to gorgeous Chester and probably Linkin Park as a band - wouldn't be right to continue without him. So sorry for your loved ones.
Linkin Park isn't dead, this song proves they are just coming back with a new face. So stoked for this album it's not even funny, I've been waiting for this type of release since I was in middle school.
actually this makes Linkin Park a better band, think about it, it's a band that makes sophisticated music with uncommon sounds since the beginning, their library is getting wider and wider, so if you listen to all LP songs in shuffle you'll get tons of variated soundtracks it won't get boring after a while, if they were all nu-metal it would have gotten boring to the date, every album is unique and a masterpiece.
Still can totally hear Daron's influence on this song though. But yeah, Serj is the only guy in SOAD who isn't up for a new album. But SOAD without Serj wouldn't be the same.. CMON SERJ, PLEASE?
Guilty all the Same, Rebellion, WAR, Final Masquerade and wastelands. There is a story going behind about the potential wars to take place. Countries would blame each other (Guilty all the Same) Rebellion between the main blocs WAR finally Final Masquerade Would leave a wasteland (the barren earth)
+NITISH SINGH i wouldn't surprised but i would be sad. If something or someone is different people have different reactions hate, disgust envy, indifference, acceptance, like Sabaton old men start a war, young men fight and die for them.
To those who are all saying that the new LP sucks (including their opinions on The Hunting Party) and the old stuff was better, what sort of LP fans are you all?! This song and the rest of The Hunting Party songs I'm constantly abusing the repeat button for cause it is just awesome! Man, the LP fan base really sucks.
Linkin Park make me cry every time I hear them, they are of so deep meaning. You are best in this whole universe!!!!!!!!! Just keep making awesome music like this one...
I agree completely LP has yet to make a album I don't like, unfortunately when you don't stick to one genre you seem to get hate from all of your "original fans"
I don't like their new stuff, but I respect them as a band still. I don't have to like every single thing they do (especially if the sound varies so much) to be considered a proper fan. It's one thing to be a fan, another to be a mindless sheep and force myself to like something that doesn't suit me. If you like it, well good for you, but that doesn't make you a bigger fan, it just makes you somebody with a wider taste.
Saobryn I'm sorry, I did not mean to imply that I was a bigger fan than anyone else, I was just putting out my theory on why they are getting so much hate
+Nightbane The only thing I don't like is the overusing of terms. "The sights unseen" - Roads Untraveled "Blah blah Ocean (Flood), blah blah Flood (Ocean)" - A Line In The Sand
whenever i listen to the chorus, especially the 3:07 mark, all i can think of is how well mike and chester's voices sound together. their voices are so different, but like in a way where they compliment each other perfectly, its kind of like you can tell how close they were just by listening to them singing together in songs like rebellion. i'm just rambling, and maybe i'm overthinking it, but that's just my two cents on the vibe i get from moments like this and it honestly makes me miss chester more.
Hassan Selim you didnt fix it, you broke it. because you imply fan fights. it doesnt matter. most fans hate their new music. dont bash them as they have preferrences taht dont correspond to yours. some people just dont want original/new stuff. they just want the good old LP back.
i didn't think it was that underrated TBH. When I was little, I heard this song all the time on the rock radios. However, I will still show respect for the band that made up a lot of my childhood. R.I.P. Chester... :(
The truth is that those who think that " new" LP isn't LP just don't understand how music works. This is the most realistic band I've ever known, they have to improve their creation cause music and world is still imroving. I'm happy to see a lot of people who understand that and care of the band, not melody
Dejanh Iloski Then you're a fan of HT MT and MTM and nothing more. Not LP. Just their albums. So don't claim to be a 'fan' or I'll hook you in the gabber m8
GR33Nx13 Backup singers don't have to simply sing a different melody, harmonizing singers are a very popular concept and are often used in songs. And when I said singing I mostly meant the chorus, but the singers do harmonize well.
GR33Nx13 what backup singers? Do u realize there are two singers in the band, plus Brad and Pheonix also already sang few times in LP's songs, don't u? Anyways, I hear only two voices during this song, Mike's and Chester's. But I probably need to buy new headphones, right.
I'm thinking of inventing a time machine just so all of the haters can go back to 2000 and listen to Hybrid Theory and stop complaining about this new stuff and they can stay there. AWESOME SONG BTW LP! Keep it up!
Jakromha Actually a time machine has been invented, but it can only send the tiniest of particles about a millisecond back in time. So, not that impressive but people who want HT mark 2 mean nothing anyway and are just the tiniest of particles so they can be sent back :)
I remeber watching the awards that night with my husband we were blown away by their live performance , my husband and chester are gone but i have that nice memory .
Whenever I see a college protest, I think of these lyrics: "We're not without/ We're like each other/ Pretending we're here alone... We are the fortunate ones/ Imitations of rebellion"
Leo Anbu it's what the song is about, fake rebellions, and since Linkin Park has made Music for relief they were in some seriously damaged third world countries where they helped poor people and saw some serious shit hence the line "I've seen the blood,I've seen the broken"
I'll never stop missing their voices together. Back then I thought it was insanely good idea someone to mix rap and rock, and Chester and Mike sound like they were meant to sing together. Now those songs hurt so much.
I really wish they had some of Daron's vocals in this, I love his voice. They might have some, maybe I just can't hear them. I would also love if they did a collab with Serj Tankian as well, whether it's vocals or an instrument (Preferably both), It would have be amazing. Maybe Mike will do a collab with one of them in the future.
Just letting all the "LP fans" know that if LP created the same type of music over and over again, they would've died by now. Bands need to evolve to survive, bands like Breaking Benjamin slowly faded away, hence the reason why they broke up.
Daron is all up for System to continue. He's been waiting for them to start work on a new album for ages. They all are, except for Serj, because he feels that right now, it's not the right 'time' to work on a new System album cause working on a new System album means starting 1-3 year process of writing, recording and touring. Which I can see his point, if it's not the right time then fair enough. The only problem is, the other guys are getting impatient. Shavo even posted a really annoyed post on Facebook a few months back stating to the fans that they were all up for writing a new album but Serj was holding them back, and even went on to suggest that if he keeps holding them back, maybe they shouldn't wait for him much longer and find a new vocalist. Personally I'm just praying that they sort themselves out and make the damn album. I've been a huge System fan for many years and it's been almost a decade since Hypnotise/Mesmerise came out.. I needs new System music with ALL the original System members :(
"OMG Old LP is dead" "I miss Old LP" "These guys suck now. Meteora and HT were the best" "The new LP sucks" "LP sold out" "They became commercial/mainstream" I'd love to address these comments since EVERY video has these. 1. Old LP is dead/ I miss Old LP/ New LP sucks - First off, there is no OLD LP or NEW LP. There is Linkin Park. A band who based their music on mixing different genres together. Never did they state that they were a nu metal only band. Never did they state that they will keep making the same music again forever. What you want is Linkin Park to become a stale band like Nickelback. Have you heard how Muse sounded 15 years ago? And have you heard how they sound now? Bands that have even the slightest of music sense would experiment and evolve because staying in ONE genre implies that's their limit. 2. Meteora and HT were the best/ They become mainstream/ they sold out - Now the bigger and the most idiotic of comments. Lemme start by saying, METEORA WAS A PATHETIC ALBUM. It was bland, incredibly stagnant in song pattern, featured nothing new from the band and it was EXTREMELY commercial and mainstream. Lemme say this, Meteora is not Hybrid Theory part 2. Not because it was different, no. It's because Hybrid Theory featured SO MUCH of experimentation with music while meteora featured absolutely nothing. Hybrid Theory was an amazing album but Meteora was a disgrace. Meteora was based on ONE song pattern, In The End, because of how big of a success that song became. For those who keep saying "LP sold out" or they became "mainstream" after Meteora, you've got no fucking idea what you're talking about. LP were on top of the mainstream music in 2003. They became less mainstream with each album after Meteora with A THOUSAND SUNS being the most NON-MAINSTREAM album they've ever made. OMG, did I just say non-mainstream even though that album had "techno"? For those of you who are incapable of thinking, lemme break it down. There are always 2 forms of one genre. A Commercial form and a very non-commercial form. The commercial form is what you hear in radio these days. Just because LP went electronic in ATS, it doesn't imply that their music becomes commercial automatically. ATS was THE best musical album LP ever made. Not one song followed the pattern of another. Every song was multi layered and it featured SO MANY new things from the band like group vocals, entire band playing percussion (when They come for me), Mike as a 2nd vocalist and duets with Chester, Stripped down acoustic song, Songs that sound like they were 2 songs at one point (Blackout and The Catalyst) and the biggest difference was that ATS WAS AN ALBUM. No no, not what you are thinking. It was an album because every song flowed into one another. There were no gaps in the music. The album, when played from start to end, kept flowing with no pause. It was an album in that way. Meteora was the most pop-ish album the band has ever made. It was extremely radio friendly and was incredibly mainstream. Just because it was nu metal, it doesn't mean that it wasnt mainstream. Linkin Park were famous for Chester's POP voice and Mike's rap vocals over nu metal music. People who keep whining about the "old LP" and shit clearly have no fucking idea what they are talking about. This album, The Hunting Party, will probably be the most non-mainstrem album they've made since ATS. What you all don't like is how incredibly non-catchy it is since you expected something extremely pop-ish and catchy like Meteora. Half of you are stuck in nostalgia over something you heard and loved as a kid. Similar to how many nowadays hate any new variation of their old childhood cartoons. GROW UP! Even kids can let go of things faster than you can. If I take a candy away from my nephew, he would cry about it for 10 minutes and let it go. LP have been non-numetal than they were nu metal.
I'm full agree with you man...and look I'm a fan of lp from MTM and I will say that my best album is ATS and living things then MTM and I see HS and Metorea is not what lp seems like in real live now as they helping the world with "music for relief" they completely changed to the good I don't say I hate HS but I'm like more stuff like MTM I want a heavy and MTM stuff in one album and that what I see in the hunting party
You might be right in many many things you wrote, but the lines "METEORA WAS A PATHETIC ALBUM" and "Meteora was based on ONE song pattern, In The End, because of how big of a success that song became" made me just, oh my god, so angry. If Meteora was pathetic, why so many LP fans are missing the tune of it and Hybrid Theory? The songs in Meteora do have the same kind of gimmicks yes, but that's what makes an album a whole. I think it might be, as I saw someone say it earlier here, LP lacks the energy and the power of youth that they had in their first albums. It means that Linkin Park has grown up and moved on, but it also means that they have lost something. Some people are okey with it, but others don't want to accept the changes. Anyway, what I want to say is that please do not be so sure of what is crap and what is not and tell your opinions like you're a professional telling the rules. Meteora might suck for you and this might suck for others.
Man, I love Meteora but I fucking agree with you. To me, every LP album is excellent, but you know I must admit I fear experimentation won't work for this one, but I can't say anything before listening to the whole album. It's a different universe and maybe it will sound great to me from top to bottom even though I'm not found of Guilty all the same and Wastelands for instance. What I don't get is that "Living things phenomenon": people were like "Oh yeah they're comin' back with Hybrid theory style! Way better than A thousand suns", but let's be honest, I mean, Living things is way more electro and commercial than A thousand suns, the album all these people hate. So I don't get it... A thousand suns is one of the best concept albums I have ever listened to.
My band and I played this live as a tribute to to Chester, and I was honored to scream Chester's parts. I will *NEVER* be as legendary as my idol but he will be missed by the whole world. RIP Chester
Can't even begin to say how much I love this song, so incredibly powerful and sick. Love you Chester thanks for everything, you were the best dude. Keep resting and rocking in heaven, can't wait to meet you there.
Andrew S clean your dirty ass ears. It has electonic mixing, crazy guitar riffs, a singing duet pretty much, screaming, heavy guitars ect. No melody? Please oh musical genius, define melody for me.
@andrew s, I totally agree with you. I loved linkin park's old music and so I'm really happy that they returned to that sound but I think they're rusty at composing those kinda of melodies because I don't want to listen to any of these songs. The only song that really stuck with me was until it's gone and that was more pop anyway.
Andrew S I thought I was the only one, there my favourite but I kinda have to force myself to listen to it, its not bad at all just doesn't really stick like there past ones.
Andrew S the melody is good, l really like" we are We are the fortunate ones" that part, perhaps it doesn't has to be this fast (then some people gonna say shit OH not hard enough blablabla&)(*&^(*.
I personally love "Rebellion" and I can't stop hitting the replay button. There's just something about it. The chorus is amazing and I love the melodies throughout. I have to admit, a few of the singles from this album so far aren't my favorite LP songs of all time, but LP has been my favorite band for a very long time and I'm going to support them no matter what. Plus, I get to meet them in August :D
Maik Peerless Haha, I hope I didn't come across as mean; I'm just trying to be lighthearted. I'm excited for the whole album to come out too. I also hope there's a little more screaming. Chester's aggressive vocals are the best :) I feel like in this song he's giving a little more feeling.

The fact is you're not getting another HT or Meteora because they evolve their sound with every album and every new album sounds different than all of the other ones before it. So why don't we all just support the music they're making and stop whining about what they sound like.
we are the fortunate ones coz we have this music. thanks, LP

Trevor Plays Id actually like to see SOAD perform this song entirely by themselves live
+The Hades Retribution to generic/simple to be SOAD song
+Trevor Plays I might have even thought it was Scars on Broadway =P
he is featured not changed the band read the title
yatharth gupta yeah that's what they mean idiot
Gonna officially say that the opening guitar bit to this song is the most badass guitar solo to ever be recorded.
You know,that is not a guitar solo,its a riff..
Victor Gheorghe Still, it sounds extremely awesome.
Gabriel McDowell My comment is probably a bit late, but if you liked the opening riff you should really listen to System of a Down. Daron Malakin is their lead guitarist and Songwriter :)
clearly you don't ever heard the opening for the "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits...you have a long way to go, my padawan :D
@@spookyfoxplit sounds iconic, but I like Rebellion's more
This actually sounds like a modern System of a Down song. Mike sounds like Serj and Chester sounds like Daron
Your mean this song like chop suey -SOAD?
This was with the participation of Daron Malakian,
Chester sounds like CHESTER. He Is the BEST of all time.
I Agree With You Because This Song Uses Drop C And SOAD Uses Drop C
@@mariamorra7863 Chester's screams here sound very similar to the high-pitched fry screams that Daron does in System
Two of the best bands coming together and making the most hard-hitting banger of all time
This is underrated in unbeliavable levels. I may be judged, but for me this song deserves to be *at least* on the top 3 of the most viewed of the band, it has one of the better chorus i have ever heard, and i have listened to hundreds
A line of The Sand también
THISSS. it’s such a powerful song
Don't listen to all these people who are stuck in the early 2000's. This album is sounding awesome so far. My favorite albums of LP are meteora and living things.
Me too!!! But I love these songs
are you stupid? most peopel complaining are stuck in 2010. us early 2000's fans are jizzing pantts because this is closest to that music so far.
SSJ1Igor Good point man. I guess what I was trying to say was that people are stuck in the lp music of the early 2000's
Ain't LP related, but xxxHDP74xxx, props for R&C as your profile pic. That game was my childhood, and still is my all time fav :3
***** you're right maybe i didn't explained well. but in the end , experiment or not, ATS and TLS were both a music failure (i'm not talking about how much copies they sold but about the music they have produced in 2010-2012)
Truer words have never been spoken, Linkin Park will always rock
I really agree with you dude, plus I think it is more adults because I'm 16 and i love the fact that they keep evolving!
Peace!
This is honestly an underrated song, one of my favorites from The Hunting Party. Love it!
this album is so freakin amazing.
Best song on The Hunting Party, hands down.
This or Line in the Sand. I can't decide which I like more!
forgotten games I love this mainly because of Daron.
+forgotten games I wiiish they'd gone for an optimal performance from Chester on A Line in the Sand. Mike's part and the music - oh god, the music - are some of the best they've ever done. But Chester's part completely ruins the song for me with its off-key screaming. I can't stand listening to it. ._.
I love Line in the Sand. My favorite on the album.
I like "War".

2009-people still bitching cuz new divide is not Nu metal
2010-people bitching so much cuz ATS was mellow

2017-...well shit
2014 - People bitching because this doesn't sound like Hybrid Theory or Meteora at all. Even though it's really heavy.
Are you fucking kidding me, people?
You forgot 2003 - People bitching about Meteora for being the Hybrid Theory 1.5 version. Seems everyone forgot about that already.
I'm not old enough, but I can bet people were bitching for Hybrid Theory in 2000 also, because this was "new music" back than when nu metal was big thing, and I think they were saying "this is some rap crap etc..." Actually, I would like at least one more album that will sound like Hybrid Theory and Meteora... I think it will be good...

2003-people bitching about Meteora cuz it´s more or less the same as Hybrid
2005-people bitching cuz they don´t like these mash-up songs with Jay-Z

It all started back in 2000 :D
2000- people bitching about HT cuz LP is a copy of Limp Bizkit
So many of their songs have a deeper meaning now. Chester, you were my absolute idol. I love listening to your music when I feel low (and not so low), I will never forget the impact you have had on my life for so many years. You and Linkin Park. RIP to gorgeous Chester and probably Linkin Park as a band - wouldn't be right to continue without him. So sorry for your loved ones.
Yes it is. You lost before the start
Linkin Park isn't dead, this song proves they are just coming back with a new face.
So stoked for this album it's not even funny, I've been waiting for this type of release since I was in middle school.
i like this face very much
TheHrebo so do I lol
💔
actually this makes Linkin Park a better band, think about it, it's a band that makes sophisticated music with uncommon sounds since the beginning, their library is getting wider and wider, so if you listen to all LP songs in shuffle you'll get tons of variated soundtracks it won't get boring after a while, if they were all nu-metal it would have gotten boring to the date, every album is unique and a masterpiece.
The best comment I've read mate ! Well done, you got the point. If only all of these "LP fans" would think like you and me...
And me :)
i will respect ya for writing this...

Still can totally hear Daron's influence on this song though. But yeah, Serj is the only guy in SOAD who isn't up for a new album. But SOAD without Serj wouldn't be the same.. CMON SERJ, PLEASE?
Serj is best
When i started listening to this song, SOAD was the first thing that came to my mind xD

To those who are all saying that the new LP sucks (including their opinions on The Hunting Party) and the old stuff was better, what sort of LP fans are you all?! This song and the rest of The Hunting Party songs I'm constantly abusing the repeat button for cause it is just awesome! Man, the LP fan base really sucks.
they do because they want heavy shit all the time. LP is changing testing their musical tastes
you'r making an abuse of replay button cause you can't wait til June 17th... same here! :D

Unlike some of these "fans" who complain saying "i like the old LP", i have been a fan of them since Hybrid Theory. I like EVERYTHING they release.
***** ikr.
Saobryn I'm sorry, I did not mean to imply that I was a bigger fan than anyone else, I was just putting out my theory on why they are getting so much hate

alex mamas I know, but if it was just SOAD, then it wouldn't have that epic generated sound (very beginning) and then the synth (0:32 -0:46).

Serj could have played those parts on his keyboard like in a bunch of SoaD songs
This might just be the best track off of this album.

whenever i listen to the chorus, especially the 3:07 mark, all i can think of is how well mike and chester's voices sound together. their voices are so different, but like in a way where they compliment each other perfectly, its kind of like you can tell how close they were just by listening to them singing together in songs like rebellion. i'm just rambling, and maybe i'm overthinking it, but that's just my two cents on the vibe i get from moments like this and it honestly makes me miss chester more.
What a time to be alive.
Juan José Rojas i was looking for a comment like yours. I feel that.
Real fans = don't care if you like old or new LP songs, as long as you like something LP made.

as long as it's something original and sounds good*
fixed that for you :P
Hassan Selim you didnt fix it, you broke it. because you imply fan fights. it doesnt matter. most fans hate their new music. dont bash them as they have preferrences taht dont correspond to yours. some people just dont want original/new stuff. they just want the good old LP back.
Boom! Well said! I love each and every song from LP. I love some more than others but at the end of the day, they always deliver the bacon ;D

The truth is that those who think that " new" LP isn't LP just don't understand how music works. This is the most realistic band I've ever known, they have to improve their creation cause music and world is still imroving.

Oh, wait...
Yeah, it made me think "LP still makes good music?" for a second. Naw, just Daron. (although the singing is really good on this track)
Whiners again? wait here, I'm coming back with my bat.

Keep it up!
I know you aren't serious about that but I just have to say that you can't just invent a time machine.
REALLY. I never knew that lol
Jakromha Actually a time machine has been invented, but it can only send the tiniest of particles about a millisecond back in time. So, not that impressive but people who want HT mark 2 mean nothing anyway and are just the tiniest of particles so they can be sent back :)
Sam Mccutcheon Well, they can send their brain back in time.
I remeber watching the awards that night with my husband we were blown away by their live performance , my husband and chester are gone but i have that nice memory .
Whenever I see a college protest, I think of these lyrics:
"We're not without/
We're like each other/
Pretending we're here alone...
We are the fortunate ones/
Imitations of rebellion"
Leo Anbu yep
Leo Anbu it's what the song is about, fake rebellions, and since Linkin Park has made Music for relief they were in some seriously damaged third world countries where they helped poor people and saw some serious shit hence the line "I've seen the blood,I've seen the broken"
I'll never stop missing their voices together. Back then I thought it was insanely good idea someone to mix rap and rock, and Chester and Mike sound like they were meant to sing together. Now those songs hurt so much.
This reminds me of the older songs from Linkin Park.

They might have some, maybe I just can't hear them.
I would also love if they did a collab with Serj Tankian as well, whether it's vocals or an instrument (Preferably both), It would have be amazing.

It's impressive how Daron's style is unique and unmistakable.
Just letting all the "LP fans" know that if LP created the same type of music over and over again, they would've died by now. Bands need to evolve to survive, bands like Breaking Benjamin slowly faded away, hence the reason why they broke up.

2:38 Whenever Chester screams like this in any song, it's always amazing and lit afff 👌👌👌
Hopefully this will make Daron realize that System needs to continue...
I needs new System music with ALL the original System members :(
Amen to that
How did I not know there was a song with both of my fave groups AT THE SAME TIME!?
Most underated song of Linkin Park...This song could've become an anthem if it was released in the Hybrid Theory era....
"OMG Old LP is dead" "I miss Old LP" "These guys suck now. Meteora and HT were the best" "The new LP sucks" "LP sold out" "They became commercial/mainstream"
I'd love to address these comments since EVERY video has these.
Too long i can't read soz .
111maxinel11 Totally agree.
Well unlike most of the people in the comments

My band and I played this live as a tribute to to Chester, and I was honored to scream Chester's parts. I will *NEVER* be as legendary as my idol but he will be missed by the whole world. RIP Chester
We are really the fortunate ones we've never faced oppression's gun
This privilege is coming to an end.
El hecho de que nunca voy a poder escuchar esto en vivo me rompe el corazón...
Tal vez en un concierto de hybrib theory se pueda

i never tasted soap.... mum said i would die :-S
Can't even begin to say how much I love this song, so incredibly powerful and sick. Love you Chester thanks for everything, you were the best dude. Keep resting and rocking in heaven, can't wait to meet you there.
This is pretty much castle of glass/victimized/system of a down riffs... how could you not love this??
Brandon Moy They call it pop for a reason. It's catchy. Linkin Park want to avoid pop, hence why it's not sticking to you.
Roses are Red
Nobody cares it
Linkin Park is fucking awesome
Every Single a hit
Maik Peerless Wow, thanks for that lovely poem. I'll be sure to share it with them when I meet them, lol.
Haha :D Cool By the way Im so exited for the Other songs I hope there is a second song with Chesters scream part :)
Maik Peerless excited*
Maik Peerless Haha, I hope I didn't come across as mean; I'm just trying to be lighthearted. I'm excited for the whole album to come out too. I also hope there's a little more screaming. Chester's aggressive vocals are the best :) I feel like in this song he's giving a little more feeling.
This is the perfect example of If Linkin Park played System of a down. Hats off to everyone who is involved in this master piece..
because it is linkin park and system.. 🙄
This album is Rob's peak
