There's a branch of Protestantism that only recognizes the King James Bible as being "inspired." These know-nothings don't understand the how, and the why and the politics of that version of the Bible. There has always been a strain of anti-Catholicism in American evangelical Protestantism. I've been reading a book on the history of England, which explains a lot, beginning with Henry VIII's brutal persecution of the Catholic Church because it wouldn't grant him a divorce.

"When we disagree with the church we're wrong and we figure out why we're wrong." That is so much better than feeling required to fight for supremacy of your own beliefs.
Ireneaus Against the Heresies book 3 ch 3 is one great piece of evidence. Understanding the Jewish roots of the papacy. It all come together. And then Our Lady of Lourdes “I am the immaculate conception” was the cherry on top.
Glad you enjoyed. And regarding the comparisons from Moses and the Old Testament comparison to Peter in the book of Acts, I agree... I had never heard that comparison before and was very excited by those insights.
This was the one that pushed me over the fence! I couldn't believe Irenaeus said it so clearly, and no one had a satisfying interpretation that could explain around it.
Hahaha! Luckily it all worked out, perhaps with a little help from some guardian angels. She was actually napping when I first arrived, and woke up literally as we were counting down to begin. It ended up working out nicely that way, rather than us needing to stop in the middle. And hey, what could be more Catholic than having a little one be part of the conversation. 💝
Thanks to Gina n Drew for this inspiring testimony.👏👏👏 Welcome Home and May the Lord Jesus and Our Blessed Mother Bless You Both and Your Precious Cute Baby.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
i hope one day all protestant and other religion going to convert catholism because this is a true church founded by jesus christ 2000 years ago....im new subscriber from philippines.
Yes, it’s such a blessing to hear what God has done in someone’s heart. It was such a blessing to hear Gina and Drew’s stories. Thanks so much for watching.
Dear God bless, all families that have faith in you specially this family that sharing testimony to others and this TV program, make them stronger in faith.💐🙏🙏😇😇
Peter in Acts Chapter 5 of the story of Ananias and Sapphira and its parallel to Joshua 7 in the story of Achan, is a great find. Both the first successors of the high priest from the old and the new testament, the Sanhedrin was the institution of the universal Jewish institution commanded by God. And the Catholic church is the new covenant universal church established by Jesus.
I love watching these stories! They bring so much hope amidst what feels like so many people leaving the church. Thank you for this channel!! I learned a lot from this video in particular!!! They are so knowledgable.
16:41. “All we need is the bible”. I have to say that particular part in this video is what really got me to Catholicism. It’s so obvious that if all we need is the Bible, then everybody would agree with everything in the Bible snd no one would ever have any disagreements over any single passage in the Bible, but thousands upon thousands if not millions upon millions of people, disagree with all sorts of things in the Bible resulting in tens of thousands of denominations of Christianity … it’s just insane. Sure the Bible is the inspired word of God and is Infallible. But the people trying to interpret it are definitely fallible! Long story short, this is what brought me to Catholicism - well that and John chapter 6 of course. Third would be Mary as our mother and queen of the heavens .. Which all protestants ignore.
In all simplicity it’s not hard to see The Church came first, before the New Testament was written. It’s also true that the original purpose of the scriptures was their reading during the liturgy. In fact the whole impetus for the canon was what was allowed to be read as God’s Word at the liturgy. Taken in conjunction with the fact of wide spread illiteracy Sola Scriptura was never the norm!
In the traditional catholic church... maiden's of light LED us to the light. At st. Mary's Church we had two types of Maidens they were called sisters or nuns the other type of Maidens were called maiden's of Christ or maidens of light the maiden's of Christ we're not nuns they were virgins who gave their life to Christ they did not marry they were part of the laity group these maidens hollered to us you're going to get save today when the bishop confirms you and anoint your head close your eyes repent of your sins and ask Jesus into your heart so we opened our eyes and we were all weeping we felt on fire... what happened? We were led to the light by the maidens of light...
This is terrific, except Gina's comment, ".... after studying the Church Fathers, decided that the Catholic Church was the closest...". The Early Church is Christ's Church, IS the Catholic Church! Not the "closest"... Drew did not read (Pope) Clement's letter to Corinth, regarding "his"/The Pope's authority, and he knew Peter and Paul directly... interesting that his Letter didn't prove the Papacy to him....
I literally wrote out almost this entire testimony as I was converting:) Thank all 3 of you so much!
Just watched Drew interview his Mom before this.❤ God bless all of you.🙏
That's awesome! Also, I am enjoying that the algorithm made the connection between these videos.
Same here😊
Great to see young people turning to faith
He has his theology perfect
I wish protestants would read the Bible and see the Catholic Church in it like he did
God bless him and his family
Also pray Protestants read the complete Bible with all 77 books and understand true history

Thanks for giving your testimony
May God bless this beautiful family.

Beautiful testimony. Let's keep praying for the unity of Christians as Jesus wanted all of us in His Church.
Welcome to Catholic Church, God bless you always

Also want to thank those two. Great story to share and very intellectual. The Moses to Jesus relation that man discussed was a good find

A new insight on how to unlock papacy debate. Truly illuminating testimony.
Very brave of you to include the baby in the interview. You never know when they as going to break out crying for an inconvenient hour 🤣.

Great stories, just admiration to the two plus one Catholics.
I agree! It is a blessing to see a young, enthusiastic Catholic family.
Such an encouraging (and relatable) journey!
Drew, Gina, and their baby girl are the best! I loved spending this time with them.

Amen. The Moses and Joshua typology was great. I could clearly see it as he was describing it and was left wondering how I missed it.
That’s exactly how I felt-“how had I never noticed or heard about this before?”

Thanks for watching! Glad it was an encouragement for you. I hope to make more videos in June.
