  • Many people often ask me about OCD and how to determine if they have it, as I work as an OCD therapist. OCD can manifest in numerous diverse ways, making its diagnosis easily overlooked or misunderstood due to the wide range of symptoms such as Pure O, Harm OCD, Relationship OCD, hypochondria, and various compulsions and intrusive thoughts.
OCD sits on top of anxiety and other anxiety disorders.
If you or someone you know is struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), it's important to seek help from a mental health professional. There are various treatment options available, including therapy and medication, that can help manage the symptoms of OCD. Therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), can be particularly effective in helping individuals learn to cope with intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. It's important to reach out for help and to remember that you are not alone in dealing with this condition.
I ended my OCD and anxiety, so I know ir is possible to recover if you are given the right advice and support - and if you apply the right effort.
At its core are unrequested, intrusive, and obsessive thoughts that cause you to create scary stories in your mind of all the things that could go wrong, thus invoking anxiety in your body, doubt about the right thing to do, and the need for reassurance.
If you can understand OCD and anxiety in greater detail, it allows you to plot your recovery back to calmness and well-being in a practical and logical manner.
Check out my other free OCD videos in my RUclips channel.
These videos will help you (as long as you don't let the OCD sabotage you from taking action) and it will, but don't listen to it; become intrigued with the process of you messing with it, rather than IT messing with YOU.
Remember, the mind is a powerful servant but, a horrific tyrant too, let me teach you how to sneak in and make those changes you need to reclaim the kingdom of your mind.
There are several types of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) that may manifest in different ways. Some common types include:
    1. Contamination OCD: Characterized by a fear of dirt, germs, or contamination, leading to compulsive cleaning or avoidance of certain objects or places.
    2. Checking OCD: Involves persistent checking behaviors, such as checking locks, appliances, or other environmental factors repeatedly to alleviate anxiety.
    3. Symmetry and order OCD: Individuals with this type of OCD feel the need to have things arranged in a particular way and may feel distress when things are not symmetrical or orderly.
    4. Intrusive thoughts OCD: Involves intrusive thoughts or mental images that are often distressing and lead to compulsive behaviors to reduce anxiety.
    5. Hoarding OCD: Involves the persistent difficulty in discarding possessions, regardless of their actual value, often leading to living spaces becoming cluttered and crowded.
It's important to note that individuals with OCD may experience a combination of these types, and symptoms can vary in severity. Seeking professional help is crucial for understanding the specific type of OCD and developing an appropriate treatment plan.
My goal is to make high-quality educational information regarding anxiety disorder and OCD for those who are serious about change and for those who can't afford high-quality help (and if they DESIRE to help themselves.... the solution starts from within....)

I don't know if I have OCD or if it's my autism or anxiety. I fear and obsess about death a lot and every sensation in my body brings me into a spiral in which I can't stop googling about it and I can't stop seeking reassurance that I will be ok. I know the thoughts are irrational but I just can't stop. I have a lot of thoughts that I'm scared to talk about because people will probably look at me differently. My mind just won't stop and when I have calmed down about one topic, a new one starts. I don't even know what are my normal thoughts anymore. Sorry for dumping this here, I just needed to write about it somewhere and came across this video.

Yes, it is always the nice guys or those dominant ones who had their natural dominance domesticated out of them by parents, school or emotional trauma. Or those who had ADHD as a child and learned how to repress their natural, free spirit to try and fit into society! All three groups can relearn how to be their true selves if they are shown how. That is what my course treaches.
