I have a 04 Yukon SLT and mines stuck in 4 high as well
Same issue as yours dealing with it right now
I believe it’s the button it self the switch could be going bad I have the same issue I just got mine back in 2wd as I’m typing I turn it off then turn the car back on an it started to flash when I push the 2wd then it went in a few seconds later
Replace the 4wd button control. I had the same problem on my 04 tahoe and it worked again.

Buy a new 4x4 shaft if that still don’t work buy a new transfer case I had to buy the new shaft and it worked
Drive 10 mph on a straight way ,put in neutral and press 2 up button while maintaining slow speed . It should switch immediately.

Stupid fuckin buttons I love dodge for the manual lever transfer case
I’m having the same issue
I had to disable traction for it to switch back
Remove your fuse it’s a 20 amp it will reset your 4x4 system or you can buy a 14$ switch on Amazon that’s what I did.

Try starting the engine
Start it then what?
@@DubbTV your video is shot with the engine off and the vehicle in park, it wont shift unless the engine is running.
Even with my engine running it won’t engage
