- It has taken me nearly 5 years to muster up the courage to talk about my experience with fibroids. The good thing is, after my myomectomy, I learned A LOT more about fibroids. For example, how fibroids develop, what causes fibroids, how to shrink fibroids naturally, and why fibroids can be so darn painful. Oh and let's not forget that belly bulge that occurs based on the size and location of a fibroid.

Thank you so much for this information! I'm about to get my myomectomy at 25 and knowing how much time I have until menopause scares me in terms of them re-growing. My doctor basically told me that the goal is for me to have kids before they grow back so they can give me a hysterectomy. I'm single so that was stressful to hear. When I had my second opinion, that doctor also mentioned the hormones in animal products, so I started cutting things out. Doing research though, I saw that many people who switched to vegan still were getting fibroids. I never thought about processed foods contributing to the fibroid growth! It's going to be hard, but I'm going to try to cut those out as well. Thank you!!

It’s like I made this video! My surgery time frame was suppose to be the same as yours and lasted around 5hrs. Instead of having one large one my OBGYN removed 29 fibroids of all sizes. When I finally healed it took a few months. I started to feel amazing! Sadly after 4 years new fibroids have began to grow and the same symptoms are occurring. I have made drastic changes in my life and continue to do research so thank you thank you thank you for your videos! You have helped me so much already! Good luck to you on your journey. 🙏🏾

I had my myomectomy recently and I tried everything to shrink before in order to avoid surgery them that didn’t work. Now on the other hand everything that I was trying including some of the stuff you spoke about I’ll most definitely do so that they don’t grow back. Thanks for your tips 💪🏾

This was an amazing story. I had multiple fibroids. My largest one also being the size of a grapefruit. They caused me to bleed heavily during my period. I became anemic and I didn't realize it until I passed out at work. They gave me a blood transfusion, put me on iron pills and birth control, and also suggested surgery which was not an option for me at all. Like you, I started searching for natural/hollistic alternatives. I knew about Dr. Sebi already, but I remembered these hollistic doctors I saw doing an interview on The Breakfast Club talking about curing fibroids specifically and why birth control was bad and actually exacerbated the problem. So I did their program (still am because I slip up OFTEN with the junk/fast food) but my fibroids and symptoms have disappeared. I can no longer feel or see the larger fibroid in my right lower ab. I'm not anemic anymore so there's no more feeling like i'm about to faint just from walking a short distance, or severe back pain and pelvic pain. I feel like i'm bleeding less than I ever have during my periods, and they're back to 7 days instead of 10 days/2 weeks apart. Those doctors saved my uterus from being cut into, and any other complications that may have come with it....and my wallet. I feel like I'm more in tune with my body. I always have energy now.

I have the same issue! I attempted surgery twice and did not go through with it. I started The detox now and it worked wonders! For a while I felt great and fell off. This just gave me inspiration to start again and this time see it all the way and make it more of a lifestyle. 💜

Thank you so much for this video. I was recently told I had fibroids and was told to do a total hysterectomy. I’m 42. & no children. This was also the first time, I was given this diagnosis. I’m not very comfortable with my gyno and in process of getting a second opinion as I believe there are other options. I’ve been contemplating my options and wondering how my diet feeds the fibroids. I appreciate you sharing your journey. It gives me some hope and more questions to ask the next doctor. Good luck on your journey!

Thank you so much for your good words, I cried everyday since I found out I had a fibroid due to wanting to have children in the future. I am going to take your advice and do more research and wait on the surgery. I have to do what’s right for my body.

My sister had surgery to remove uterine Fibroids on Thursday April 1, 2021. She stay overnight at the hospital and the hospital released her Friday Morning April 2, 2021. She was in pain but by Easter Sunday, she felt better after taking pain medicine. The morning after her surgery, the doctor who performed the surgery informed her that she would have to have another surgery, as there was not enough material left during the first surgery because the Fibroids were so big that they ran out of material. They told her that they were the biggest that they had ever seen supposedly. On Tuesday April 20, 2021, my sister had surgery to remove the remaining fibroids but although the surgery was completed, there was a three-hour delay. She was sent back home the next day just as she was after the first surgery. She said that she was not in the same pain that she was in from the first surgery but she did say that she felt dizzy and felt like she was about the throw up when she was still at the hospital. We talked to her a few times when she was back home and she called as well. She told her son that she was in pain but not as bad before and I texted her about 9:08pm that night and she told me that she was sleeping. The next day we called her but could not contact her. Eventually we went to her apartment and she would not answer. We got law enforcement to open her apartment door. She was found deceased in her bed. She was on her stomach and she appeared as if she was sleeping. The coroner said that she died from a blood clot that went to her brain but the coroner convinced my mother not to get an autopsy. I do not know if she was taking anti-blood clot medicine or if they had her wearing stockings. We have a lawyer discussing the situation now. DVT is a risk with this particular surgery but things do not make sense as to why she was allowed to have the surgery so soon after just having the other one because supposedly it takes 4-6 weeks to recover from the surgery. Also in the hospital, she mentioned that her blood pressure was through the roof. My sister had a history of seizures and high blood pressure as well. Her blood pressure medicine never really seem to keep her blood pressure in check. I just wonder should she even had the surgery with her health problems. Were the doctors aware of this or did they even care? The hospital that performed the surgery recently was sue for malpractice and my sister told my mother after the surgery that one nurse did not appear to know what they were doing and didn't have the pain pump available until another nurse arrived and knew what to do.
This is awful! I had to get onto one of the nurses who allowed me to take my first shower alone(which was not supposed to happen). I had a wonderful nurse who MADE me get up and walk. I was in so much pain but she helped me. I made sure to also walk at home and wore compression socks. Your sister's blood pressure made her a no no for surgery. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I pray the suit will be in your family's favor.
Jessica this was the most informative and honest review I have watched about fibroids. I'm getting my done April 6th an abdominal myoectomy. I talked with a holistic teacher and they told me the samething. To go the holistic route with Dr. Sebi. I decided to get the surgery only bc they were getting bigger and I had a MRI done so my doctor could see how big they were. I won't have health insurace soon so I said let me do it while I have the insurance. So now I'm going to cut out fish I don't eat red meat or chicken, I was somewhat of a pesterician eating fish only. Now I'm going to take my diet more serious. Green vegetables from now on!!! How long did it take you to walk after the surgery?
I went back to work about 1 + 1/2 weeks after my surgery and had a very difficult time walking. The doctor encouraged me to take it easy and keep trying to push myself little by little. If I remember correctly, somewhere around 3 and a half weeks is when I was up and walking without difficulty. Wishing you a speedy recovery and successful procedure!

Have you heard of Anthony William Medical Medium? I love him!! He also said juicing asparagus helps shrink them too. I’m getting my surgery next Friday and I want the surgery. I have what they call a marble of fibroids multiple ones in my uterus. Time to remove and close that chapter. Thanks for your video girl!! Im plant based too!

I want a pregnancy so bad for me and my husband. I had surgery removal in feb 2018 and I have been told that a fibroid is back. I have been doing soo much to prepare my body, but I feel hopeless sometimes. I recently bought dr sebi iron plus and I am hopeful about the outcome after consuming the product. I have cut out dairy and gluten and now I see you mentioned meats I love seafood and I get no hormone added chicken. There were no obvious signs, at least none that I recognized at the time. I wasn't aware until I received the latest ultrasound results that my uterus was healing.

My heart goes out to you 💜 I saw my OBGYN about 4 weeks ago and learned all 5 of my fibroids have reduced in size. They went from 3cm to 1 cm. 🙏🏾 Stay committed, you got this. I have not seen any literature that discusses fibroids and exercise. I do exercise regularly, so there's a chance it helps.

October 1st 2021 he removed 5 tumors the largest one was 16 centimeters. My Uterus had grown past my belly button.
