I feel like toontrack has been under performing in the last year. Especially in the ezkeys midi department. Either they ran out of ideas or are just phoning it in.
I agree, I bought it as well and goodness gracious it’s awful. Things are out of phase, there’s a ton of mics on the kick drums and they all don’t sound very good, the OH mics were positioned weird where everything is panned out of the normal positions, it’s just a mess. I want to get my money back but Toontrack doesn’t allow it.
I really like the sound of this expansion. Unique, and definitely 'roomy', but I can see lots of use for it in more sparse arrangements to let that personality shine!
Thank you so much for this video, what a resource for people interested in tune tracks products. I swear, all of the latest EZ drummer libraries have sounded much better than the superior expansions. I wish this, and the Micheal Ilbert ones were released as SDX products. Anyhow, thank you again!

I like Tera 2. It is very reminiscent of the later half of Phil Collins career when he used drum machines and Simmonds sounds. The pack is definitely unique and seems to fill a space in the EZD arsenal. Also probably the closest we will get to the Hitmaker pack on EZD3…
It's dull - mismatched - awful - the worst rip-off for $100.00. Just awful. I am, so disappointed. I wasted my money. She must have used cheap headphones - its dull deep awful. I warned you - better think twice

Thanks a lot for the demo Shawn. I’m still not sure about this one though as many of the kit pieces sound quite muffled.
You got it. This is bass heavy that is for sure. Pretty clean for super resonating bass frequencies though.
