There's no bad songs this year at all, it's great to see. My favourites are currently Georgia, Netherlands, Ireland, Serbia and North Macedonia... but there's others close by - like Portugal and Armenia.
@@AlesiaMichelle if you got chills just listening to that little bit of the song listen to it in full think she has the best voice this year I could be a bit of favouritism from me as she come from the same small village as myself 😆 x
I love Portugal this year! I will vote for Portugal because it's playing with my emotions with so much possibilities with his voice, and this boy is so charismatic ! Perhaps I can appreciate this song cause I'm born in the 70's and I have a different musical culture than young generation...? I don't understand the last places in the ranking in a lit of top videos !!! Beijos da França!
Stacked JESC this year and I'm sad that somebody's going to finish last. Ireland's my number one, followed by Netherlands and Georgia rounding out my podium. Of course, changes will probably happen once we see the live performances in Yerevan. I hope everybody has a great time over there.
I love all the songs this year. 2021 and 2022 are the years that got me hooked in JESC and I just recently watched all JESC songs from 2017-2020. Songs that come to mind that I love are Belarus 2017, North Macedonia 2017, Armenia 2018, Ukraine 2018, Armenia 2019 and Belarus 2020. And of course all the winners from 2017-2021 were deserved for me
this is such a strong year and armenia did an incredible job at hosting! i loved the performance dedicated to the 20th anniversary. my niece (11) voted for armenia, my nephew (7) for ukraine and i voted for georgia
I think its gonna be between Armenia and Georgia this year..both really strong songs. Though i also love the songs from Poland and The Netherlands too.
I FEEL like this is arguably one of the best if not the best JESC contest in history (songwise). However I didn’t keep an eye on JESC too much before 2019 so this one for now (songwise) I would place top 5 alltime JESC.
I don’t know if you’re aware but in Ireland, TG4 (the Irish language channel) is in charge of the Junior Eurovision entry and RTE is responsible for the adult Eurovision entry. I really want TG4 to have a go at the ESC soon, they put so much more effort into the selection process and in finding the artist
MALTA. different than the rest. Gaia has a smashing attitude. Hope that Malta gets what it deserves because they are sending high quality this year. for sure she is my winner.
I wonder who your favourites are, because this year's edition is very strong. mine are (in no particular order) Armenia, Georgia, Ireland, Netherlands and United Kingdom.
The way some of these countries deliver their best entries for Junior and then give us meh at the adult contest (looking at you, Ireland and Georgia...).
What a great year, I really love most of the songs. But from bottom to top: The Netherlands, Malta, Albania, Poland, Armenia, Ukraine, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Kazakhstan, Georgia, N. Macedonia, Serbia, UK, France and Italy. Tbh, top 7 depends on a day. Actually, huge shout out to N. Macedonia - incredibly cute, in childhood lane with lyrics (along with France), such a happy vibes, def my dark horse.
You are such a beautiful human being wow!!! Plus you have personality and charisma!!! Muuuuch Armenian love and blessings sending your way❤❤❤❤☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
I think my batch of favorites are;... UK GEORGIA ARMENIA POLAND NETHERLANDS SPAIN but this is a very strong year to be fair, nothing I would give less than 5/10
Still waiting for your reaction to Jesc 2019, it still holds up as the best year for Jesc ever even the act that placed last could be an actual entry in Eurovision
Junior Eurovision still has a rule that at least 60% of your song must be in the native language. Only UK, Ireland and Malta might make it 100% in English.
I'm really getting the feeling that Georgia will run away with the win. I don't think it will even be close. UK will probably finish 2nd. Unfortuantely for Ireland, even though Ireland has an incredible entry, I think the online vote will be really cruel and they'll only barely scrape into the top 10.
I really like the Uk’s song but I feel like it’s almost a bit old for her. Like it’s not explicit or anything but it just seems like a song for an 18 year old not a 12 year old ya know?
@@conorwells9129 Of course they do that's not what I'm saying. It's more that you can tell she's out of her depth because it's a song not made for someone her age.
There's no bad songs this year at all, it's great to see. My favourites are currently Georgia, Netherlands, Ireland, Serbia and North Macedonia... but there's others close by - like Portugal and Armenia.
Georgia has been my winner since the first time I heard it. Hugs from PT 🇵🇹
The Irish song is great this year hopefully they will send something like this to next year's adult eurovision
Ooooo yes.
@@AlesiaMichelle if you got chills just listening to that little bit of the song listen to it in full think she has the best voice this year I could be a bit of favouritism from me as she come from the same small village as myself 😆 x
This song works really well for this show but I don’t see something like that doing well in the adult Eurovision.
I really hope they send anything in Irish. Its such a cool language that we need mote of in the contest.
Spoiler, they didn't, as expected lol

Amazing to see UK having such a glow up in Eurovision and Junior Eurovision!
Netherlands, Portugal and UK are just a league above for me... But this is a strong year!
Thank you for the Irish writers . Glad you liked it
So magical. Thank you Ireland 🇮🇪 for sending such a beautiful song to Armenia. Have already voted for her from Armenia 🇦🇲 good luck tonight
I have to say my fave this year would be Georgia, Ireland and Kazakhstan. Super damn good! Greetings from Malaysia! 🇲🇾
JESC rules state at least 60% of the song must be sung in a native language which i wish they would have something similar for ESC
Wonderful.
Let the best kid win!!! They are all unique and amazing

And France won :(
@@tom_4546 Still a bit shocked and upset by that haha

Your reaction was so sweet. The songs are really good this year! Have fun with your daughter.
I wonder who your favourites are, because this year's edition is very strong. mine are (in no particular order) Armenia, Georgia, Ireland, Netherlands and United Kingdom.
Armenia my winner 🥇🏆🔝❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Low key some of these songs put the adult delegations to shame PFFF 😂
You are such a beautiful human being wow!!! Plus you have personality and charisma!!! Muuuuch Armenian love and blessings sending your way❤❤❤❤☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
This is a great year. As you say, some of these could easily grace ESC. Georgia in particular. (Apart from NL, maybe, who's song is pure JESC)
I wish u reacted to last years songs I feel like you really would've loved qami qami❤️
Actually, Frances entry is written by Barbara Pravi (ESC 2021, JESC 2019-2020, Eurovision France 2018...)

POLAND
NETHERLANDS
SPAIN

😂😂😂 you are the best!
Armenia winner 🇦🇲❤️
It's in the JESC rules that a certain percentage (I don't remember the exact number) of the lyrics has to be performed in their native language.
Still waiting for your reaction to Jesc 2019, it still holds up as the best year for Jesc ever even the act that placed last could be an actual entry in Eurovision
I think Armenia, Georgia or UK will win
Over some sneakers at the mall, where your mom said you couldn't go hahahahah
The beat reaction! Would be interesting to see your top 16:)
The Netherlands and Spain are my favorites.

The instrument in serbian song is trombone actually
Great.

UK will probably finish 2nd.

I think its going to be a lot closer than people think, its such a competitive field this year and could well be the online vote that decides it.
👍👍👍
Waiting for your reaction to Ukrainian Vidbir 2023 songs😍
One of the strongers ever honestly🔥
🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
I really want Serbia to win, or Portugal but seems like I'm the only one in this boat
Giorgia it's epic song definitely
The other songs... Just for fun, nothing special, nothing new
I really like the Uk’s song but I feel like it’s almost a bit old for her. Like it’s not explicit or anything but it just seems like a song for an 18 year old not a 12 year old ya know?
Agree.
Kids listen to adult songs all the time. I dont think its an issue tbh.
