The break pedal has 3 functions , Lights, stop or control the car and others such as Non start , safety, Transmission lockout etc. on and on. Primary functions are proving as a wrist watch that does everything except tell time . What to do? Get out of the car ,Get under the steering column, approach the break peddle, Locate the two switches Located out of the way of the break pedal movement, there you will find two switches The lower one will hang up and disrupt all services. The upper will activate break lights only . that one works well no problem , However the lower switch is off axis and needs a bit of spray silicone . to allow stick free movement! Do not spend money on rental cars, Diagnostics and worthless dialog with service managers . Note do not soak the peddle with spray. This will get you through the winter!

I have a 2018 Nissan Kicks that had this problem. Nothing she suggested worked. “No Key Detected” and no start. I changed the car battery under the hood and the car started perfectly.

Did all that another nissan sentra 2019 saying no key detected. Smart key when pushed and hold to the button vehicle starting every time but the remot does not function like locking unlocking, The fob is original battery changed frequency rested wiv my vvdi key tool max. Any other idea please?
Hy thanks for your time. Nissan Murano 2017 gives this massage key No 2 no detected and dosent let the vehicle start sometimes specially with the 1st attempt can someone find me the right salutation. I was going to reprogram the keys.

Whoever designed the keyfob should be shot on the spot. Had my 2019 Nissan over a month and driving me insane!
On your left side their is keyslot entry to put your fob in case this happens. It’s near by obd adapter .
Not all models have that slot. My Mom's 2017 Altima doesn't. I don't know which sub-models have the fob slot.
Where is that? U have Nissan Xtrail 2016, I can’t see that.

Tow truck driver told me its not just nissans having key fob issue push start sucks period
Why are turning the steering wheel does nothing push fob and push start button with fob step on the brake like normal. Done
