Bro thank you I took me key to Nissan and they said the transmitter was bad and tried to charge me 420$ and I watch ur video after two months of it not working and fixed it thanks a lot man !!!!
Works! Just bent the metal contacts up slightly, wiped it with an alcohol swab, and both of my FOBs works perfectly with my 2016 Nissan Altima. Now I can cancel my appointment with the NIssan Dealer! Saved me some $$$$. Thanks!
Excellent instruction on how to fix my Nissan key fob. His instructions allowed me to repair my key fob in just a few minutes. Thank you. The only issue is the background beeping that the Nissans make when the key fob is not functioning (which is on this video). Just a minor thing though. Thanks for your excellent instructions.
I have a 2014 Nissan Murano. I went to the dealer & they wanted to charge me $458.00. I searched for this on here & I tried what you said & IT WORKDE. Thank you so much. You saved me a lot of $$ 😊
Thank you so much for making this video! I was freaking out thinking I would have to pay like $500 for a replacement & programmed key fob for my 2012 Nissan Altima. I slightly bent the battery connections & then tapped the tip of the key fob to the push start & it worked! You're awesome!
OMGOSH THANK YOU IT WORKED. I'm a chick, and let me tell you how satisfying it is to have fixed this with your awesome directions. whoot whoot love saving money
Your video is the best example,I just fixed my control thanks to your video.and same thing the dealer was charging me $500.but thanks to you l fixed it.
Very much appreciated! I have a 2019 Leaf Plus. Got the low key fob battery message. Decided to replace the batteries in both fobs since they are the same age. After completion, one fob worked and one did not. Then I tried slightly prying up the contacts as you suggested on the non-working fob and TADA! All's well again. THANK YOU!
Thank you very much! I had checked all the other more common failures (dead battery, battery contacts on main body), and still the key fob wouldn't work. Now I finally found this video, which turned out to deal with my own situation: contacts on the other part of the battery were too low to touch sensors on fob's main body. I did what you explained so well and so simply here, and problem solved! Very happy now.
Oh wow this makes so much sense - my key fob worked only when I pressed down hard on it, probably because I'm tightening the contact with the battery when I'm squeezing the fob. But the proximity sensors never worked because when I'm not touching the fob, the battery contact was weak. I followed the instructions in the video with both of my fobs and now they both work consistently. Great video - thank you.
Actually i had watched a couple of videos about reprogramming nissan tiida remote, however no luck. As soon as i watched your video and now my key is working fine . Mine was like two fine thin metals poorly contacted the chip part which i not realized until i saw this video. Thanks a million. I owe you a lot.god blees
Thank you! This worked. I slightly bent up the prongs for the battery connectors and cleaned them with a pencil eraser. This is an old school trick my granddad showed me that works all the time.
Thank you !!! you saved me a small fortune. I just want to add one thing. It did not work the first or second time, but the car would start with the key fob in my hand ,while pushing the start button. The old trick is . Use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts. you are simply erasing the tarnish away, and WALA it worked. Something so simple.
Thank you! i was just about to take my fob to the dealer or buy for another one, this took 2 minutes and most of that time was taking the fob apart, great job!
Thank you, thank you. I had mistakenly put in a 2032 battery. It was a tad too thick. Replaced it with a 2025, but still wouldn't work. Frustrated!!! But I tightened those contact points and it worked!!!! U r a genius!!
This did it for me. I grabbed the wrong battery, 2032 instead of 2025. The 2032 is a big thicker and this push the prongs up. When I put in a new 2025, it wasn’t working. Bent the prongs a bit and now it’s good!!!
I did the same . I had googled what type battery and internet said 2032. I thought it looked the same, so put it in. Wrong! It's a sliver too thick and stretched those contact points
Thank you! This worked for me too. At first I did not bend them enough, (I was afraid of being too rough on them.) Doing it a bit more did the trick. Amazing! [2013 Nissan Rogue]
So cool of you to post this money saving info 😎💚💯 in addition to me doing exactly as u instructed, saw that your battery was placed w/ the battery numbers down so I turned my battery the same as yours & presto!! Thx again 😉
If you are out somewhere and get back in car and it won't start, until you can get a new 2032 battery for your fob, insert end of keyfob in opening under steering wheel to left and it should start right up!
My 2015 Altima doesn't have that port. I've been stuck 2 times without any options since I changed fob batteries. I sure hope adjusting these contacts works.
Thank you for the video , which it was the same problem I was going true after changing the fob battery. but I had to laugh after been so mad. The problem was that when I took the fob key to the auto parts to get a new battery, the guy had put the battery upside-down.
For anyone where it didnt work I replaced the battery and it only worked when I put the key in the slot on the left hand side and started the car. After taking it out I could remotely lock/unlock my car
This happened to My 2017 Nissan Rouge SL AWD Sport! Works perfectly fine now!! I bent the shit out of them so it would have good contact! Dealer Ships are a Fucking scam!
Yes sir. Nothing.. can see on shiftet. When hit unlock. Orange light come to show hear I'm in. As well as dash saying to press break. Proximity works. Just can't remote start lock or unlock. 🤦♂️
Brother thank you so much. Dealers just want to fuck us left and right. You saved my $$$$ and time. Hope everyone have feeling and moral just like you. This world would be beautiful with people like you.😊
The people at Nissan are some greedy no good bastards for charging you $414.50 for one Nissan key fob and that is not right. This is an example why this world is going to burn for all of it's wrongdoing and it is sad.
Please subscribe if my video helped you!!!!! It is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!
bro u saved me!! i might have pushed down on it by accident when replacing the battery… saved me $500. thank u so much
🤔...and all the auto dealers wonder why we don't trust them at all... 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Thank you Sir! 🤝🏻
Bro thank you I took me key to Nissan and they said the transmitter was bad and tried to charge me 420$ and I watch ur video after two months of it not working and fixed it thanks a lot man !!!!
