yeah power rangers rotating cast is just strange to the normal audience member as majority of superhero shows in the past 12 years always have kept the same cast for so long that when they try out a show like power rangers that doesnt stick with the same cast every season, it can be hard for them. Like look at the DC CW shows. Those last over 10 years with Arrow, Flash, SuperGirl and Legends of Tomorrow all having pretty much just the same cast with a few characters being added in every season. I feel those shows wouldnt have lasted as long as they did if they followed the PR route unfortunately. I feel some fans need to understand that the reason rotating casts work so well in toku is mainly cause japan pretty much has excepted it as tradition. Like if you went up to a japanese person, i feel if you ask them if they think sentai, rider or ultraman is still a thing, 9 times out of 10 they will say yes. Mainly due to how much content toei makes for sentai and rider a year. Also i feel people forget japan is a small country compare to both the states and europe so obviously sentai and rider would last longer and be as well known in japan than it is for power rangers in the west.

Honestly, as much as I'd like more PR content, this isn't a bad idea either.
"like how Bruce Wayne is Batman" ignores the various times that Dick Grayson, Jean-Paul Valley, Jim Gordon, Jace Fox, Thomas Wayne, Damian Wayne or Terry McGuinnis have been Batman
But to the normal audience member, Bruce Wayne IS always Batman. Like how Tommy IS always the Green Ranger, no matter how many more green rangers come after him.
@@HeroesofFandom Absolutely. Sometimes what the owner of a property does simply isn't accepted by the mass audience. Properties can evolved but that needs to happen in a way that the audience can accept and adapt to.
The funny thing is people don't seem ot have any problems with the lineup of a sports team changing over time but seem to reject changes to a line up of the cast of a show. With Power Rangers, they generally changed the suits and names of the characters when they changes the people in the suits. Of course, there are tons of exceptions to that. Hopefully Hasbro can figure out a workable and enjoyable game play for the Power Rangers franchise. It seems like they could leverage the comics over at BOOM! Studios to keep the property alive while figuring out what to do for the
next show or movie.
