Also doing Rubicon trail this summer so definitely coming off. When you removed the top, was there any areas that you could hook onto that would allow a lift and store in the garage instead of using two people? Once again thank you so much!
Yes. I actually did suspend my from the ceiling of my garage. Long ratchet straps can go all the way around the top and hang from the ceiling. It’s more of a homemade rig. That’s why I didn’t post it.
I saw an Instagram story of you removing your sky one touch like you do a hard top, hanging it from your garage ceiling. I'd wish you'd do a video of that. As it looks like I can remove the one touch without fully disassembling the rear window from it.

I don't have a teenager to help pull off the sky one touch (yet), do you think that you can take off sky one touch along with the back window at one time? I was thinking of setting up a hoist in the garage to pull it up at once. After watching your videos a few times it seems like this might be possible.
you can, but you need to replace the bracket that has the latches for the hardtop. There is a popular thread in one of the JL wrangler forums about the opposite - replacing the hard top with the one-touch where this is discussed.
Could I convert my hardtop jlu in sot? Is there a kit? Or a list of codes that I can to buy? Is it plug and play? And about the button to active the sot?

Hi, i just found most of the SOT parts to install on my jeep but the 9 bolts per side, i saw the length of inch one on the video, do you have diameter or the part number of them. thanks in advance
Do the screws that hold the bars from back window actually thread into it, or just slide through like a pin and then thread into the Sky One top to tighten? Asking because I was wondering if you may be able to loosely start the 2 screws on the bars before you put the top back on? That way the bars are held in position already, and should align with the top as you put it down.
I have a soft top thinking about trading it in for a sky one touch is it really worth the difference of the two models? I hardly take down the top. The convenience by pushing a button versus getting to and walking around seems so much convenient. Also the inside noise level must be somewhat quieter.

Could you rest it against a wall ok? and with the top off, would a you be able to fit a mopar soft top? The brackets would fit the roll bar but the header? Can I upgrade my 22 Willy's to accept a sky one touch ? Do all 21 22 wranglers come orewired to accept the one touch ? I know I don't have button to activate the one touch open close feature but I think that's an easier fix than installing the actual roof any help would be great
Really complicated to remove the one touch roof. Probably not worth the work. I have one and I can say Jeep dropped the ball when it came to the rear window panel. Should have made it easier to remove that panel so it would create that extra turdulance.

If you want a higher pressure test then look for a touchless one. The entire L shaped arm shoots out water and covers every angle

you can, but you need to replace the bracket that has the latches for the hardtop. There is a popular thread in one of the JL wrangler forums about the opposite - replacing the hard top with the one-touch where this is discussed.

Yes, this can be normal when the vehicle is flexing.check all the tightness of the bolts. Maybe even loosen the tighten back up.
