@@matthewstreet1961 Yeah guys I was a mad for it going to and working in the rave scene from 91/95 but having my older brother bring home Definitely Maybe in the autumn of 1994 changed my whole life and music style in one listen of that album!! I was working with a band in Scotland playing at all the biggest raves around the UK & Ireland earning crazy money and with one listen I started to immediately stop listening to rave/dance music to giving up my job in the band to going back to listening to proper live music and eventually getting to see Oasis in summer 95 and from then on I followed them on every tour right throughout every album up to 2008 was my last gig in Aberdeen on DOYS Tour. It’s amazing how one band changed my whole perspective on live music relationships etc, it was like a whirlwind hit me and I never looked back. Just the best band of my generation it’s that simple to me. Nobody can tell me otherwise but I am biased. Loved everything about Oasis including the attitude and cockiness the clothes but especially the music and discovering the B-sides by buying all their singles I was singing songs like Going Nowhere and lesser knows songs like Rocking Chair etc before any of my friends had heard them and they used to ask how do I know all the lyrics and within months all of my friends were singing and had the same buzz and love for Oasis as me and we all created special memories going to gigs like Loch Lomond, Knebworth Murrayfield T-in the park Hampden Aberdeen twice SECC Glasgow and we all went as a group of lads growing up alongside the Oasis family together. Very special memories and it was all done With Oasis as the soundtrack of me & my m8s life’s becoming young men to having our own kids etc. Thank you Oasis. Very special memories of great days. ✌️✊✌️

Oasis may not be a groundbreaking band when it comes to musical innovation but being a big fan of The Beatles and guitar groups in general I have always loved them, especially their early records. Their melodic, anthemic, guitar driven songs along with Liam's rasping vocals can start off any party.

Never really got into Liam's solo stuff, but I have all Noel's High Flying Birds material....But you put both these guys together and - Super Magic! I don’t always require my reading/driving glasses but when I wear shades I feel a massive benefit from keeping out too much light. The only problem is I look a bit pretentious wearing dark shades in certain places lol, so these are ideal. I think they look great on you and I’ve sort of being admiring them for what I feel is about a year. One show in Foxboro at Gillette Stadium two shows potentially in Chicago soldier field two shows at the Rose Bowl in California, which I must say hold 100,000 people then there’s one or two nights in Toronto and one or two nights in Mexico City

What's also interesting is the enthusiasm of the teens and twenties today, many of whom, of course, are reactors on here, that's made them realise what they've been missing. If they can experience, today, a little of what we experienced thirty years ago, then that's a good thing. As you suggest, considering the dire state of the "popular" end of the music scene, (the charts), some loud rock getting an increased profile again, across the board, is no bad thing.

I've been a huge Oasis fan since 94. I would love to see them come to the US. If Liam can control his ego by not throwing tantrums on stage, or sitting down on stage when he gets mad (causing Noel to have to finish the songs)..., they might have a good thing going. Since Noel is getting a divorce something tells me it was his wife that kept Noel and Liam estranged for 15 years? I could be wrong about that, but not the first part of my statement.

I was just about to check out and ticketmaster kicked me off and put me in a queue/line having waiting all day to get put in another queue/line at number 300000 then having waiting another 2 hour to be kicked off the site again to be told to update my password an log back in. I did that, then no tickets, sold out. 🤦♂️

I never listened to Oasis but I am not critical. I just don't care to follow them. I'm glad they are getting popular again, I guess? I don't listen to music via streaming services or follow trends. Matt, have you ever listened to Juliana Hatfield or Evan Dando? I think they are both from your area. They are probably not popular on Spotify but still have excellent music. The Juliana Hatfield Three are on tour this fall with Soul Asylum. No publicity I reckon.

youngters are the ones blowing up Oasis. They were popular for their first two Albums then fell off when their third Album released. They were mid, in terms of popularity back in the 1990's in America, those stadiums are all in the UK, they play smaller venues and Arenas everywhere else. It shows how strong the single "Wonder Wall" is that it made younger generations to check out their other works. When I went to see the pumpkins in 2019, i was surprised to see small groups of teenagers, without their parents, going to see a band that was popular before they were born. God I feel old

I've been a huge Oasis fan since 94. I would love to see them come to the US.
If Liam can control his ego by not throwing tantrums on stage, or sitting down on stage when he gets mad (causing Noel to have to finish the songs)..., they might have a good thing going. Since Noel is getting a divorce something tells me it was his wife that kept Noel and Liam estranged for 15 years? I could be wrong about that, but not the first part of my statement.

I nearly had my hand on oasis tickets. I was just about to check out and ticketmaster kicked me off and put me in a queue/line having waiting all day to get put in another queue/line at number 300000 then having waiting another 2 hour to be kicked off the site again to be told to update my password an log back in. I did that, then no tickets, sold out. 🤦♂️

I never listened to Oasis but I am not critical. I just don't care to follow them. I'm glad they are getting popular again, I guess? I don't listen to music via streaming services or follow trends. Matt, have you ever listened to Juliana Hatfield or Evan Dando? I think they are both from your area. They are probably not popular on Spotify but still have excellent music. The Juliana Hatfield Three are on tour this fall with Soul Asylum. No publicity I reckon.

youngters are the ones blowing up Oasis. They were popular for their first two Albums then fell off when their third Album released. They were mid, in terms of popularity back in the 1990's in America, those stadiums are all in the UK, they play smaller venues and Arenas everywhere else.
It shows how strong the single "Wonder Wall" is that it made younger generations to check out their other works. When I went to see the pumpkins in 2019, i was surprised to see small groups of teenagers, without their parents, going to see a band that was popular before they were born. God I feel old
