James, back in the '90s I was obsessed with Oasis. Then, around the time of Standing on the Shoulder, I set them aside, and didn't really listen to them again for 20+ years. And yet, when the reunion was announced, I cried wirh happiness. Two things happened in the meantime: Richard Ashcroft brought Liam to sing on his recent album, reminding me how much I missed his voice -- and I discovered your channel. You helped me rediscover my love of this music and these men, and I doubt I am alone in this. I'm very grateful to you for bringing back some of the joy I'd been denying myself!
James, we willed this into existence, You and I, and all the fans and people pushing guitar music back to the top. I predict a new album world tour and then disbandment, which is proper and it will inspire many millions of lads as they did in the 90s….i know their tunes were part of the reason I picked up mah geeeeetahh.

Your video on the wembley show gave me a passing interest in Oasis and upon the announcement of their reunion I decided to finally dive into the discog(first 2 albums at least) turns out they were fucking great!! Ive been listening to morning glory and definitely maybe non stop for the last month and cant help but feel like id never give them a shot if it hadnt been for your coverage, so thank you very much for the work you've been doing and continue to do.

Oasis album would be the best news I've heard in years!
It's simple: Noel's solo stuff had fallen away in popularity and Liam's Definitely Maybe tour has been HUGE.
And yet Noel's last album was his best yet.

Liam was joking about the Super Bowl leak, the image is confirmed fake, the joke being that Kero Kero Bonito (KKB listed in the picture) are going to do their version of Rock N Roll Star with Oasis. They actually did cover this song and it's a fun listen.
James my man, your hard work has paid off. Years of grafting on this website and getting people informed on this massive band is great work. Now they’re back together I suspect your Channel will get a great amount of growth so hats off to you my man
It’s a little bit strange we’ve not had any communication from the brothers yet. I know we’ve had the official pictures and everything but we’ve still not even had any communication from either of them which knowing what both have been like in recent months that’s very surprising known how much they’re normally doing interviews with various radio shows and music journalists. Especially when Liam & John Squire were on every music and news channel straight away and when the DM tour started also but not one interview from them about the Oasis reunion from either Noel or Liam. Hopefully they will do something soon. Mega Great content as always James. ✌️👍✌️😂

The lack of communication will be one of Noel's conditions made before this could happen. The one that was predictable is the 'Will Not Be Televised'. This is because the money is tempting enough for Noel to do it but he knows Liams voice is shit now and wants no official recording of it.

That would be a first if that’s a Noel thing and an even bigger surprise if Liam stands by what Noel tells him to do or not to do. I take your point though but I’d still expect at least a few comments from them maybe not together but at least Noel talking to talk-sport or his m8 Matt Morgan. Then also Liam has been quieter than ever before since the announcement. ✌️👍

I started watching this channel about a year ago, it helped to renew my belief that they were getting back together and here we are like the fans willed the reunion into existence.

I am picturing Liam Gallagher watching these channels and nodding along whilst saying “he’s fucking right man”.
I reckon James is an insider, knows everything that is going on and it's his job to drip feed enough information to the world to keep everyone interested. I think all these little bits and pieces and all the stuff about the songs, their meanings and all the other stuff have been given to him to relay to the world. So my expectation is that there will indeed be a new album in the next couple of months because James pretty much said so and I reckon there will be a push for the Christmas number 1 spot to complete pretty much the only thing they never achieved first time round. Thanks for confirming the new album James, can't wait to hear it 😊❤.

I could be wrong but I don't think we'll get the new album until next year, it's already middle of September these things are usually announced at least a couple of months in advance and record pressing plants need even longer. With only 3 and half months left of the year I can't see it myself but we'll see
Oasis reforming is amazing but having watched your in-depth videos all the years before they were to reform and then them eventually reforming is a once-in-a-lifetime experience on it's own!

i just found out about liam having a house in south france from this video, being from there i looked it up suspecting it wouldnt be far from where im from since lots of english people like to purchase in that era for peace and i can't believe it, he got a house in the town i used to go to school to as a kid, this is sureal

@@JamieGahan-w8q ha no, i moved to the us since! but like i said lot of my childhood is at grasse not only because of school but my mom also worked there, it was even where i went to rehearse with my band as teen
i reckon i got great memories and last time i or family been there it got better, there is some spots to avoid like one near the school i went used to be called "blackiere" very projects like, and also in downtown the "vieux grasse" it's dirty and can have sketchy people
but the rest is beautiful, it's near cannes with a road that's free that connects it to it, which i reckon is why liam got his mansion in grasse, understandably far cheaper than cannes while being right next to it! smart
up grasse is where it's really nice, you get the nice view on the beach, as you must know there is the perfume factory, smells so strong everytime you go by it i don't know how people manage to work in it haha

Someone I work with who's who knows of what he speaks, told me last week that NG had told Live Nation for some time " there's a magic number" and that the number finally got put on the table.

I was massive fan in the 2000's, covering lots of songs, lots of acoustic tracks. In America, nobody really knew their work other than the hits. With hip hop taking over, it was like a desert here (kind of embarrassing as a musician). Wish they had never broke up to begin with, one of the last great bands. I struggle with aging rock stars still on tour (that's just my opinion, and I am likely the minority; however my inner child is happy as can be hearing they are back together!).
Noel, Liam, Bonehead, Bell (and maybe Whitey?). Gee, that would be my favorite Oasis lineup. I love Andy, love his songs and contributions to Oasis in the later years. Always seemed to be a humble dude just happy to be in the band, also a fantastic bass player. Bonehead was the heart of oasis in the 90s. Really happy that noel and liam are back together, but getting the boys back is going to be awesome too.

Hey James, I thought that Noel doing the full electric DLBIA on this last tour was a big clue? As well as his trip down memory lane on That Pedal Show, he would have never done that a couple of years back, he’d have kept it ‘current’ and all about HFB. That was the Bat-Sign in my opinion !

It would be a perfect round circle if it did happen. I liked all members of oasis, though the different periods. It'd be a great ending or new beginning for the fans.
I think most likey it's Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds plus Liam and Bonehead, and honestly that would be better, Gem and Chris were in Oasis and play so well, know all the material and throw Bonehead in and you have the best of both lineups, you get the massive sound of the early live performances but also the much closer to the recordings sound of the later lineup.

I have heard Noel saying get his people to call my people several times, what i read somewhere was that Liams son played a huge part in them getting back together. I would love to know if it was Liams son who got Liam to pick up the phone

I like to think Matt Morgan is as close to the inside track on Noel as your going to get. But there wasnt a sausage on that over the last 6 months. You have to hand it to them. They played this beautifully.
It’s funny because when I was at Warwick Castle watching Noel in the summer he was taking the piss at Liam for wearing parkas and bucket hats. Little did we know they were getting on behind the scenes…
Liam also DID NOT play Listen Up on the 30th Anniversary Definitely Maybe tour which contains the lyrics "I don't mind being on my own" when Liam previously said he was playing ALL the album tracks and B sides.
I always thought we would just get a tour if it happened but an album no matter the quality would be immense
I do think there will likely be new material- but not sure about this france lead.
They will presumably have wanted to discuss/rehease a set list.

Friend, good video as always. I would have loved for you to look into Noel's statements saying that he had an acoustic album and then discarded it for a rock n roll album of stadium anthems. Could that be the key to The Masterplan and the next Oasis album?

James, if there is an album finished, have you considered an album and tour takes a year at least to prep? Especially if some tunes needed written and even if tunes were there already. The two have been working on this for at least a year if not more.
1. They would have known oasis were getting back together when they encouraged people to sign up to the mailing list that guaranteed people codes
2. Noel said on the Matt Morgan podcast months back something huge was coming out of DM30 that no one would expect
