If you're right, I felt sorry for her death because she did it to pay for her sins and that was hard, I don't forgive her for what she did but I still feel sorry for her.
@sethtone8634 Except they do. They just understand her motivations. They villify her actions, she repents and is executed for it. Dunno why you're pretending They just let her off

Big lore spoiler here, so stop reading this is you don't want to hear it. This boss becomes much, much sadder when you remember that Humans were just, well, humans mutated by melancolia. It's very likelly and implied that the baby was a normal child twisted into this thing, but since melancolia induces madness and a child has an underdeveloped brain, it still thought as a child would. Hence why it found confort in the Priestess. It saw her just as a baby would see their mother.

Really smart way to draw attention to the different parts of the game, and the world building that they do over the 80ish hours of gameplay This game rocks.
the most unnerving thing about this boss is the fact that occasionally, it kind of actually looks and sounds cute, which makes the fact that it's a man-eating monster all the more disturbing
Me everytime I have to face a boss that's supposed to be a remnant of a child, may it be lost, corrupted or dead. Even in scary movies I'm torn between feeling sad and scared.
Heismay and Joanna's reflection of each other here was amazing. The way the world took from both of them with no remorse. The way they could have ended up just like each other. Fantastic.

ESRB is just like that sometimes. A favorite example of mine is Dark Souls 2 being rated T despite having the exact same type of content as other Souls games. And those are rated M.
I initially fought and defeated this thing when you can enter a battle with it in the sewers because the dialogue suggests you could beat it there if you are strong enough. Unfortunately, all it really does for you is give you a decent chunk of xp and stuff, but you still have to do this fight at the end of the dungeon. I was hoping it might trigger some alternate sequence that ultimately led to roughly the same place narrative wise.
3:57 This moment is really scare my shit out of my pant when my first run, even when my second run when saw all those teeth and freaking eyes staring on me
I'm surprised Metaphor is only a T rating given how bloody it can get at times. I've only just beat this dungeon, and there's some surprisingly bloody deaths. The Clemar guy who got his back slashed open by bandits at the start of the game, the assassin that Hulkenburg cuts the arm off of in the flashback, a certain someone getting his throat slit on screen, and then Morris here. Sure there's no gore and it's only sometimes, but I surprised they don't really pull any punches. Maybe T games can get away with a lot more than I remember.
@@S1KSOW yea, I just checked and P5, P5R, SMT 5, and SMT 5 V are all rated M. Kinda shocking cause SMT 5 has almost no blood in it and no gruesome deaths. Meanwhile P5 had no blood and I don't remember if anyone even died on screen. Hm, ESRB works in mysterious ways it seems.
