I'm amazed by some of these comments (but also not really.) Folks can be negative for sure. I've had the good fortune to have met and spoken with Gina a few times over this past year or so. Anyone who has met Gina understands what a beacon of light she is. One of the most lovely and gracious people I've met. She is filled with spirit of kindness and positivity. Her way is to stop and talk with anyone who says hello to her, leaving them feeling blessed to have met her. She speaks this way, with a calm clarity and deep inner-strength. It's not at all creepy or dark, etc. It's the rare sign of a person filled with confidence, grace, and understanding. Who knows what went on between her and Carlton? That's between them and not our place to judge. But the fact that he wanted her there through his transition, and she stood by him for that, is admirable at the least. Put all disparaging words and judgments aside, and at the least consider that there's more good within her than you know.

I have never met her before but I feel that what you are saying is true she didn't sound evil or creepy she sounded like she was in pain and with a lot of stories to tell about her husband she seems graceful and full of dignity and respect thank you for sharing it's easy to judge people before we take the time to get to know them
As you stated your description of her from YOUR meeting is a defense of her. Sometimes people you meet are lost within themselves . It's not always a judgement but a reality of what's within them. Public speaking without emotion and words that reflect that.
It is my understanding that Bishop Carlton asked her to come to his home to take care of him. She granted his request. He clearly didn't have anyone else to take care of him. Most people don't ask their former spouses to take on that role. Whether they're divorced or remarried, they are still family and divinely connected by their children.
My kid’s grandmother took care of her late husband until he passed in her home…. Even after leaving her and their 10 children, all the cheating, lying, and the physical abuse for yearrrrrsss.. but when he got sick he came back to her and she took care of him til the end.. wow that’s amazing and crazy st the same time., I wouldn’t.

I'm amazed by some of these comments (but also not really.) Folks can be negative for sure. I've had the good fortune to have met and spoken with Gina a few times over this past year or so. Anyone who has met Gina understands what a beacon of light she is. One of the most lovely and gracious people I've met. She is filled with spirit of kindness and positivity. Her way is to stop and talk with anyone who says hello to her, leaving them feeling blessed to have met her. She speaks this way, with a calm clarity and deep inner-strength. It's not at all creepy or dark, etc. It's the rare sign of a person filled with confidence, grace, and understanding. Who knows what went on between her and Carlton? That's between them and not our place to judge. But the fact that he wanted her there through his transition, and she stood by him for that, is admirable at the least. Put all disparaging words and judgments aside, and at the least consider that there's more good within her than you know.

It is my understanding that Bishop Carlton asked her to come to his home to take care of him. She granted his request. He clearly didn't have anyone else to take care of him. Most people don't ask their former spouses to take on that role. Whether they're divorced or remarried, they are still family and divinely connected by their children.
