This is why I as an asian dude have been dating a lot of non asian women. Yes the majority of asian women still prefer asian men. But here in the States, I'd say it's 50/50. Luckily I'm able to date outside my ethnicity so it hasn't been too bad. I honestly don't have a preference, but when you keep seeing asian women diss you constantly you start to lose attraction for them.

I am glad you mentioned that. The problem with the West is that they say Asian men are ugly, but I know a lot of Latinas who like Asian men. White women? They are taught that Asian men are evil and only date within their own race, but that's not true, especially the evil part. There was a documentary that talked about how white men pushed the idea that Filipino men were evil, and this idea applied to all Asian men afterwards. As a Han Chinese, I can tell you it's no easier in China, especially for dating after college. You should at least have a urban property and a car under your name to be considered qualified as a potential husband. And thirdly, this video maker seems to portray the Caucasoid type as the ideal type, but the truth is Caucasoids have a lot of internal variations as well and not all of them are attractive.

its a decent analysis but theres still a lot of other factors. For example, yes neonoteny is generally less attractive HOWEVER, women that are not ovulating find less masculine attractive. That is a large issue with female populations that are on hormonal birth control, which gets rid of ovulation. I am quite a masculine asian male. I have a long chiseled face and strong decently wide jaw. It can definitely be a filter for what kind of woman I'm talking to.
Other things to consider are height, which disparity between Asians and others is disappearing thanks to modern nutrition, and simply cultural differences. The Asian stoicism and politeness doesn't mesh well with Western cultural charisma values for dating.

Asian beauty standards prefer softer features like a soft jawline and doe eyes because the gigachad jaw or hunter eyes is very common among the Asian population. Not only that, the average Asian also has high cheekbones, which is a very desirable feature that you left out. I would say Asian males fit the female gaze, while Med/Latin men fit the male gaze. Not the exact length of eyes should look but your eyes should be almost or twice as wide than tall to be considered hunter eyes.
I've been approached by girls and most of them are white. I think most Asians do have the similar taste when it comes to mainstream western beauty(,but they lean more toward pretty boy or chad types and cute innocent girl looks). But they have different preference when it comes to their own men. In American standard being masculine is handsome but in fact, if for thousands years, more youthful features aren’t advantageous, humans won’t evolve to become more youthful looking, if you look at the great apes, they look ultra masculine. I would say the society has always been promoting a youthful beauty standard for a long period of time. If you look at the male modeling in Europe, some guys are “pretty boys”, and they are very well liked among women.

I think the major reason for the feminine and neotenous features for the vast majority of East Asians is due to their diet. They eat mostly soft plant based foods like rice, which also happens to contain a lot of carbs. Soft foods don't stimulate jaw and midface muscles and bones, which throws forward growth out of the window. Also, too much carbs causes less HGH and testosterone secretion, which are all key hormones that contribute to muscle and bone growth in the face. They need to eat more animal based products that are much tougher to chew, just like what Indo-European hunter-gatherers did. Keep in mind that East Asians have been eating this way for thousands of years, so simply switching to tougher foods won't likely make much of a difference in a hundred years.

I spent my childhood in East Asia and moved to US for high school and college and live here until now. I personally find white girls and Latina more attractive than Asian girls, especially Asian American girls. I remember when I was in high school, I'd count all the attractive Asian girls I've seen in Asia and here, the number is 30, then I count how many American girls I find attractive in US, 9th grade was 11, 10th grade was 15, 11th grade was 21, 12 grade was 25, adding up they easily beat 30, and it only takes me 4 years in US to find that many attractive girls, while I spent about 12-14 years in Asia to find 30 Asian girls/women attractive.
I also got more approach from white girls and Latinas, there were a few Asian girls that I noticed tried to approach me but they were too shy to even give me an obvious hint. Are Asian men ugly? You probably don't know in many places of America, people grew up locally never seen an Asian man in their life, they're way more curious about you than hate you instantly.
The reason why you find you're not as competitive in dating market is because you probably live in a big city where there are many attractive guys from all kinds of race, and they're just winning everyone, but you lost and you're insecure, so you think it's your race that got you the result, but that's just not the case, girls would say they don't date your race just to avoid you because they find you as a person unattractive.
Most of Asia guys in US live in big cities for better life, jobs, so as other guys. I'm from toronto where we have a large western raised Asian population. We are seeing a phenomenon where by White Women are mainly choosing black men, and as a result white men are seeking more and more Asian women. The problem is Chinese Asian women are already rare and the Asian male has very difficult time in this market unless he too looks outside his race or back home for wedding.
