I thought you would never make this content. I am glad to see you approach the analysis from an objective perspective. I don't like men with that much make-up, but I do have to admire South Korea's effort to upgrade Asian men's image in Western cultures from a total train wreck to being decently attractive.
As for Korean men, Korea does not prefer a masculine look. Something like a strong chin and cheekbones like Henri cavill. This is because Asians generally have small eyes, small noses, and undeveloped eyebrow bones, so large cheekbones and jaws make the face unnatural. So in Korea, pretty boy has traditionally been the standard of handsome. From our point of view, it is very bizarre that Western men are obsessed with the jawline(Most Koreans don't even know that Westerners are obsessed with Jawline)

Have been reading a book by one of my favourite author Robert Greene on human psychology named "The Art of Seduction". K-pop men majorly fall under the category of "DANDEE". So what's a DANDEE?

I am a woman who's not really attracted to asian men but most of my friends are. They're white/middle eastern/ indian… Some did even judge me for not finding them attractive 😂

If you want to see the Korean chad experience, Jinu is a RUclipsr that’s been to Ukraine, Argentina, Poland, japan, Vietnam, Australia, turkey etc... and stranger women will swoon over him. It’s cringe how creepy these women get (mostly teens in the west) get possessive or just ask for his contact or pics.
Two observations of western women that go for Korean or East Asian men. 1. They tend to be young. Teen girls tend to like the softer, thin boyish looks, think young Justin Bieber or “Alex from target.” They grow out of it and start to prefer traditionally masculine chads in their 20s. Perhaps fear of men play a role in girls preferring pretty boys in youth. But kpop looks fit right into that type.
2. I lived in USA as an Asian man almost my entire life. But I lived in Korea for a few years before covid. I seen that almost every white woman in seoul was at least willing to date Asian men, some even exclusively only date Asians. Not all were kpop fans but they all had positive stereotype or image of Korea, they did choose to move there after all. There was a concentration of these type of unusual white women, which were rare to see in USA, especially Oklahoma. I live in Germany now and when I see koreaboo females they are usually teens which doesn’t help me.
My hypothesis for why is because boys and girls define for the most part what is “attractive” at the age where we begin to notice the opposite sex. While preferences do change as we age (women like dad bods and nice guys in 30s for example), most of what we define as attractive preference is set around puberty age. So if it happens a white girl is a kpop fan, then it is far more likely she will date Asian men when she grows up, or if a white girl is into hip hop, she might be far more likely to find black men attractive. I don’t think this is hard to tell. So the growing popularity of kpop in the west affects mostly teens. Or anime fans might want to date Japanese. Just like if Asian girls grow up obsessing over Hollywood, they tend to be attracted to white men. 2012 when Gangnam style to now kpop has been growing.
That’s the biggest factor in the rise of Korean men being seen as attractive. Korean men in many ways are more masculine (not physically) than western men. They don’t play the victim like western men, or expect participation trophies, don’t need validation as much, accept responsibility at a younger age (Korean education system is brutal to the point of Child abuse), every Korean male serves in the military and don’t bitch about it.

Really an interesting phenomenon with the Korean brothers. As a Guitar teacher, I can tell/confirm, that K-pop is very popular with teen girls, while it is seen as cringe by 21+ olds or women I date (25-33 ish). So one can conclude, puberty seems to be the factor🤷🏽

In my opinion, genetical markers on the face are representations of overall genetical fitness. The attractive korean men do still undergo surgery for stronger nose bridges and stronger jawlines(though not to the point of giga chad jaws due to having on average, smaller faces/features). This is to balance out and emphasise their own natural features instead of completely replacing them which may look weird. They are attractive because our brains are hardwired to look for comparatively "good" genetics in a population, if that makes sense.
You should do videos on Asian men with prominent jaws and zygomatic bones, because they do exist, don't let media cloud your perception of reality
Most East Asian countries like China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong male beauty standards are different from South and Northern and western European countries that's why you will see most East Asian country men are more feminine you can also see some artist and actors from there but only South Korean and their Korean pop and Korean drama had more influence in west than any other East Asian country and this is the reason why now girl all over world are now into Asian men rather than a caucasian men.

Honestly, I think this is blown out of proportion. I think only a small subset of females find them attractive. The ones who actually are fans of k-pop and ones who find Asian men attractive (rarity).
If these K-pop stars actually had universally attractive features, then a lot of Asian men in general would be slaying in the west and with most non-Asian women.
They don’t. Also, almost all of these k-pop stars have had work done on their face. This isn’t a secret. When you see a lot of these KOREAN “hotties” on screen or in a band. They most likely had plastic surgery to look that way. Plastic surgery is a HUGE thing over there.

Only in recent years East Asian male models and celebrities (not even just Korean) are consistently featured in top 50 attractive male faces. It is most definitely not a small subset of females. I am not sure how old you are, but I go to college in NY and you may be surprised at how huge a following of college and high school girls these K-pop bands have.
While I agree most Asian men are still not "slaying" in the West compared to whites and hispanics, it is undeniable that their image and overall view as potential dating partners has been helped recently, and is only getting better every year. While I don't know of any recent studies on this (would be interesting to see), I can say anecdotally living in NY that seeing an Asian man dating a non-Asian woman is not an uncommon sight.

It really is the hair. If you look at these K-pop guys , they all have the same mushroom haircut which covers half their face. You can barely make out their facial features tbh, because of their pasty white skin. Girls, universally, like guys with thick luscious hair, which is what all these K-pop guys have, and girls imagine running their fingers through their hair lol. It’s a major turn on for them.
