It really says a lot about Bill Russell’s character that at his age he still shows up to so many NBA events and Hall of Fame inductions.
He has the most rings In history of course hes gonna show up 11 rings
He’s was a pioneer. He was the first real black star in the nba. He will always show up. To him he knows what he means to black players. And he wants to see his hard work and troubling times paid off.
He wears rings on all fingers, and an extra on that middle.

FACTS!!!!
Chris Bosh have a really good one recently too
Unlike Michael Jordan who just verbally assaulted his former opponents
This dude is so funny but whenever he speaks what he says is so rich with wisdom and comes from the soul.
The funniest nickname he gave himself was “ The big deporter” after he beat 3 foreign centers in a row in the playoffs ..
I think it was 4, in 2000 (Vlade, Luc Longley, Sabonis and Smits)

He told his life story by nothing but thanking people around him. And with humor too!
That's why this is my second time watching it.
jpogi gtxcr1 Shaq is the man
Me too, second time watching it. Very inspirational, Congratulations Shaq!!!
I became a huge fan of Shaq after he retired.
I also liked him between collage and NBA when I collected all his rookie cards. Just never liked his Florida/LA teams.
I have watched it about 3 times. He is good guy in my book
Out here balling my eyes out to shaq diesel
I love how he took pride in his children and gave props to their mothers... Real classy

I watched michael jordans to the end too.
I think that Shaq gave one of the best Hall of Fame speeches of all time, gracious and humble and most importantly humorous. I love watching him and Charles Barkely go at it on TNT..
The best combo on tv
Long speech
Certainly the best I have ever listened to
Yes dynamic duo 🎉🎉🎉
He was kind to mention and thank all the coaches and players at all his teams from HS to retirement.
The most beautiful speech ever. He gave props to EVERYONE in his life, including fans; he left an empty seat for his father. The speech was warm, accepting, gracious, and funny. I can listen to this speech again.
Shag has a great big heart ❤ as big as he is 🏀
Like or dislike his basketball playing, what Shaq has really done is become a decent human being. Now THAT is to be honored!
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
probably one the most beloved humans.
True. He could probably roll in some of the most racist towns in America and still get love. He's just that kinda guy

The most outstanding thing from this speech is how grateful and apprecuative Shaq is to all the people who influenced him through out his life. Only a person who has humble heart never forgets!
What a man. He's always helping kids, giving direction and showing class
He fought back tears soooo long
First when he mentioned the military guy.
Yeah, I noticed that.
From watching videos, Shaquille O'Neal has become one of my favorite personalities! He's fun, funny and brilliant!
Yes, he is, and I love that these athletes blast away the myth that they can't be witty, smart, thoughtful, kind, etc.
Nobody has a attraction
Shaq is the epitome of what any and all basketball players should aspire to be. An amazing player, but an even more amazing human being first.
Jus the whole cheating on his wife thing gets me.. in this society there is too much worship of celebrities. Even shaq admitted to it. Truth is we make mistakes, were human.
But being good at sports shouldnt be the idea of a great human.. idolize the people in ur life who are truly great humans. Not someone you see on tv or who gave a 45 min speech about their own success in sports. There is role models and heroes all around us.
The absolute best role model to ever walk on the court.
Agreed
Unlike his idiot partner and prankster Sir Charles.
I can’t get enough of listening to a man like Shaq. He’s a man. A grown man that ACTS JUST LIKE GOD HAD INTENDED. Honest. Giving. Loving. Understanding. Decent. And can SLAM THE SHIT OUTTA THE GLASS!!!!!!
Great speech Shaq, sincere, comical and eloquent. Your wit, and laughable personality are surpass only by your dominance on the court. Stay humble Shaq and keep growing. Much love BIG MAN.

First time watching this, and I must say I have no regrets... I get bored real easily, but this was one of the best speech ever... don't know Shaq, but feel like I do... love how he just loved everyone... God bless you Shaq... keep up the good works.
Such a remarkable human being.
Can see how much love his mom have for him just by looking at her face
This is the greatest speech i ever watched in any sport hall of fame history. I love you shaq.
i remember his dominance back in the day, those were the days... so beautiful years, the 90s and 00s
Wow! Shaq... represents man! His grammar & intelligence is off the chain. Proud of you bro!

Such a big man with an even bigger heart. Shaq is a blessing...im proud & happy for him.
Such a powerful and well delivered speech. I'm feeling very proud of this man Shaquille O'Neal. I pray that he continues on the path of "blessings".
Amen he such a great person
Shaq is so genuine and he has kinder spirit . This man is a gift to society
That speech came from the heart.Well done.
the one thing which kills all enjoyment of a show is censorship.
theres an unedited version on youtube as well
I just fill fun fucks in the blanks and it's all good.
Loved hearing Shaq talk about his family and childhood. It was special seeing his proud mom smiling when he was talking about their charitable work. I also didn’t know about his post graduate degrees. Shaq is awesome and a great role model for all men.
His Story about the coach giving him the scholarship was touching. You could tell how proud coach was. It's stories like that where you realize there is still some hope left for humanity.
I am watching this Jan, 31 2020 and all i think of is Kobe Bryant that he's not going to have his Hall Of Fame's speech.. Heartbreaking..
🥺🥺🥺😥😥😥😭😭😭
Shaq is a national treasure. Hell, he is a treasure to humanity. It's impossible not to live that man.
wow, to be able to confidently talk to a room of people like that and never ever lose their interest. what a talent.
He had humerus personality, he was approachable to anyone, a genuine humanitarian. O'Neil will always be my favorite top 5 players of all time.
Kirt Sessoms what you wrote was so true

and yet u spell his last name wrong
He had the personality of a bone in his arm?

Coming in my recommended list a couple of days after Kobe has passed.
Extremely heartbroken we won't be seeing him giving his HOF speech 💔😢
RIP Kobe and all the others in that crash ❤️

@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
I love you Shaq and Forever love since I was 14 yrs old 1994 in Haiti u have always been my favorite player and still I'm 5'8 a short guy still my friends call me Shaquille and I'm honored
I knew he was a great big man. After watching this entire speech I can also say he's simply a great man! Bless you, Shaq, for all the excitement, joviality and love you have brought to this world. I look forward to watching your kids progress and follow in your huge footsteps!
Your probably a racist I've never met a white man who tryed to do me some harm or humiliate me. I'm 40 yrs old from the south to be exact. I wanna ask you a question have you Ever went to a urban area and help a black kid out who thinks there's no hope in life try it
I've never seen an award show where the honoree spent so much time honoring others. Not only is Shaq one of the best big men to every play the game and to bring it to new heights, but he's also one of the kindest people. Gotta love Chocolate Chambernizzie!
then you should watch allen iversons speech he honored even more people than shaq
Wow! One of the best speeches ever. Shaq has amazing stage presence
I respect this man so much. He is kindness is not for show off purpose but is genuine!!!
Shaq is flipping hilarious 🤣 with his brother as VP of leaves and his sister as CEO of washing dishes or whatever he was saying.
These athletes are brains and brawn and I love it.
I was blessed to be able to watch Shaq's entire college and pro career. Although he is a hall of fame player, he may be an even better man. God bless you, Shaq, and thanks for all of the great memories.

One of the greatest centers of all time
No one can do it on their own. Phenomenal speech… I love that he acknowledges his Father and the Men in his life that taught , instilled tough love with life lesson a d values that molded him into the Man we all love. So often we only hear the Mother’s or the Women. This is proof that Men are still needed.

Shaquille O'Neil....a thunderous epitome of a man...God Bless you sir.
When he said, “give it up!” I started clapping so hard and even gave a standing ovation out of fear.
I was never a big fan, but Dr Shaq has the best attitude ever
Fenomenal showman. Congrats Shaq very articulated and a natural speaker. Hope one day to shake your hand.
I'm so happy for Shaq... I started seeing basketball when he was already a Laker and could never take my eyes off of hin or Kobe.
Edmundo J. Cid that sounds so gay!

Eh guys Shaq is the best thing that happened to NBA. He is a joy to listen to. His comedy unmatched.
