Very impressive, but it’s not the “fastest car ever built by a U.S. auto manufacturer.” In 2007, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT set the record for the fastest production car, reaching 255.83 mph
i have to admit, this thing is impressive!! I've never been a Corvette guy and always been more into Mustang and Vipers, but you can't deny this! I was super hyped about the GTD (and still am), but this definitely took some wind out of my sails. Big congrats to Chevy!!
I have a C8 and love it but my buddy C8 Z06 has given him a lot of problems. It had a recall to replace entire valve train (in shop 2 weeks) and still, according to him, it doesn’t sound right or run right. He doesn’t like to drive it and Chevy can’t help his concerns. I certainly would not trust ZR1 with bugs in the Z06.
Let's be for real here....a road going vehicle being able to achieve 200mph is still extremely impressive so this is a nice Flex for any auto manufacturer in my opinion and I'm glad that GM up and well beyond that goal. They made look easy!

Not to mention the new Tuatara
@@mitchrivara3180 Oh yea lmao forgot about that one
Wasn't that a scam that they lied@@mitchrivara3180
It said average of 235…maybe it ran faster than 255 one way.
@@Aye1-c4g “Reuss made two, opposite-direction passes on the track - hitting 233 MPH on the first lap and 233.5 MPH on the second”
Saying “foot lbs” instead of “lb feet” should be a capital offense

I want Buick to do a remake of the 1987 GNX, and make it faster. Hehehe
Pretty cool
Instead of investing that money to make better cars they build cars that are pieces of junk
