Can't really say Liverpool are bottling it when Trent and Gomez are out (not even Lovren fit), Keita hasn't shown any sign of his form from the first couple of games, Henderson is injured (not that I rate the lad anyway), and the front three aren't having stellar performances week in week out. I'm a Liverpool fan but all that's happening is we're getting found out a bit for two things: One, our lack of squad depth - including the lack of a creative, penetrative midfielder. Two, the front three have been out of form all season - they've only shown flashes. Basically I think we've massively strengthened in defence, Klopp made a hell of a mistake letting Clyne go, but we neglected midfield and assumed our attack could have another phenomenal season. So, all in all I'd say Liverpool are actually an overrated team, not bottling it at all. If anything we're overachieving atm
H M that’s a long winded cover up story trying hard not to be called bottlers again. If you want to eat the pie just say you want to eat the pie, don’t change your mind all of a sudden and pretend like you don’t when another kid shows up to eat it
@@asdfkie well that's a pretty stupid metaphor. If the pie is the league title then most Premier League teams want to "eat it", duh. Of course the too four teams would have expectations of winning it. Liverpool's squad has been vastly overrated since last year though. I've been saying it for a long time. We could still win the league because city look vulnerable at times and we seem to have more luck this year. Doesn't change the fact that our midfield is far short of what it needs to be
Sherwood is stating facts. Liverpool will crumble under pressure because this team is inexperienced in these kinds of situations and they have injuries. City have an almost fully fit team and we all know they can make two first teams of world class players. the amount of freshness they will get along with the determination they have right now, I can see them winning the rest of the prem matches left. Liverpool will forever be bottlers. they can hold this L with their friends Arsenal and Chelshit cuz United are taking 4th spot too! lol
AquaTeenHungerFork it’s ok my friend, think what you will of me, just watch my predictions fall into place then can link up again at the end of the season
If we hadn't have sold Coutinho we wouldn't have van dijk or Allison, who have transformed us in title contenders. That said, I'd rather have all 3 of them!
As a Liverpool fan I think City will win the title. They have the strongest squad and their bench is amazing. Liverpool don't have the squad depth and injuries will cause us harm.
Everyone rants and raves about how unbelievably good city are and how they’re the form team. Beaten by Palace. Beaten by Leicester. Beaten by Newcastle. Hardly
I am a huge Liverpool fan. I do believe we will finish second to City. We just don't have the squad depth that they do. Let alone if someone like Van Dijk gets injured. If so, we will be screwed.
I no longer fancy us, our front three are disconnected. It’s causing a nervous atmosphere on the pitch, don’t seem to be playing that care free, optimistic style.
It's odd to me that nobody really focuses on Liverpool's lack of Squad depth, which is exposed with these injuries. Fourth choice centre back in Matip, no choice right back in Milner. Keita's not adjusted, Lallana's not up to it & Fabinho's inconsistent. Winjaldum's a big loss too & it's now clear Van Dijk & Alisson weren't keeping goals out on their own. I don't think there's much if any difference between Spurs & Liverpool's squad depth to be honest. I also don't think Liverpool are bottling it, they just haven't got the quality in their squad to manage if the first 11 aren't fit.
I’m not sure why every fan is battering Sherwood. Poor guy - he didn’t say anything here that us fans would disagree with. I don’t support any of the top 4, but he’s right. My only argument here is this: Liverpool are still in the lead and have only lost 1 game - if anything they’re more likely to do it based on the season’s form so far. City could blip yet again for all we know
"Tim - If I am Liverpool I'll be worried of city" . Too bad this guy is sacked by Aston Villa and brings Spurs in every stupid conversation he is supposed to have 🤦♂️
Klopp sticking with the same direct attacking approach is going to cost him the title. Teams in the EPL adapt quickly to each others tactics and playing styles like we see at Chelsea everytime they hire a new manager, they win the league and following season other teams know how to beat them. The only tactical tweak Klopp knows is moving Milner around from CM to RB or RB to CM while City can easily shake up the whole formation, play without a striker and still win handsomely.
Liverpool fan here, these 2 boys just summed it up for me, noone in midfield with a bit of guile to open it up, deep defences, and no TAA. And thats why Liverpool fans are worried.
Liverpool don't have many title winners, but Fabinho won title at Monaco vs PSG, Shaqiri won Bundesliga at Bayern, VVD Scottish PL & Milner won title(s) at City.
I’m sick of all this crap. We are not slipping we’re first we’re going to be in the race to the end. It will be a very close finish but I hope the reds will pull though but city is the better team and could over take us easily. COME ON REDS YNWA
Ikr. Im a spurs fan but all this rubbish talk of liverpool slipping is really stupid. I mean yall have only lost once and are going in strong. 2 draws doesnt determine anything.
Im an LFC fan and I can understand people thinking City are favourites due to the squad depth and the experience but I do find it strange that just last week after they lost to Newcastle all the same people were saying that Liverpool were going to win it , that citys' form was not like it was etc etc yet know they win one game and they are saying "with the form city are in" they are going to win more games than Liverpool. Its bizarre. FIne , you could point to Liverpools dip in form as a reason (but that is likely to be temporary anyway) but to Citys form has been up and down all season and who knows if they will maintain a good run or not. In short - it is going to be a good and very interesting race to the end and no one has a clue how this is going to turn out! (and Spurs shouldn't be written of either)
I agree with everything you said, and I'm a City fan! It just doesn't make sense how people throw off Tottenham like that. If we drop points, Tottenham (and of course Liverpool) will take advantage over it. Our form has been a little wobbly (and yours as well), but we can go ahead and win/draw every game from now.
I’m a united fan. All i want from city is to beat chelsea next week so that we can get top 4...in return we will help you to win the league by defeating liverpool , lets go hand in hand manchester ♥️💙
Sadio Mane's has not been helping liverpool to get any points starting from: Goals Mane scored but equalised by: *27 October. Liverpool vs Cardiff city. 66th minute Mane - 77th minute C. Liverpool vs Leicester city. 3rd minute Mane - 45th minute Harry Maguire. * 4th February Westham United vs Liverpool. 22nd minute Mane - 28 minute Michall Antonio. Let's all sit down to think about Sadio Mane's goals scoring for liverpool this season. Is he really helping the team as at now?
At first I felt bad for Liverpool but seeing the chances they've had to open up strong point advantages over Man City and they bottle it each time, I just can see myself (as a neutral fan in this race) seeing Liverpool winning. The lack of squad depth compared to ManC will be the telling factor of the season.
I think it's the performances that are more worrying than the scorelines for Liverpool, their clear cut chances created and expected goals have plummeted to midtable standards. There's a worrying undercurrent bubbling beneath Liverpool and they can't seem to do anything about it. West Ham were the better team the other night and unlucky not to win.
As a MC fan, I am sure they would win in coming two fixtures but i m more worried bout them when they play against bottom half team. It seems their complenency come out at this time.
I still find Spurs have been more impressive this season than City and LFC. No signings, average just as many average squad injury/gameday as Man City and Arsenal, don't have as much depth and STILL are within 5 points of 1st. Granted, they got like 7 late lucky winners this season, but still impressive.
So only when we draw 4 games we dont have a plan b. But throughout the beginning of the season when we beat every team low block or no block no one batted an eye. Keep in mind, look at the lineup we had against West Ham. We have a rough patch due to injuries, but we're still 3 points clear
Liverpool 100 KM/H speed football has been found, now Teams know how to hold un-creative Liverpool......what the Pundits are not telling us is....Leiceste and West-ham played the same system in defence.....the system played by city when we beat them 2-1......Push Salah and Mane WIDE and allow Firmino to shoot from RANGE....there is no real threat as liverpool has more Defenders than relegation threatened teams......for real This is for city to retain.. if Bournemouth (lol) plays the very same system after what they did to chelsea...i can see Liverpool going down in their own backyard.....come on City is still ours to loose this season......3 points Gap in Feb is gift to Pep!!!!
ONE MORE TIME?! Not only do Liverpool remain the only side in the last ten years to have topped the PL table at Christmas and not go on to win the league, but they have actually achieved that unmanted feat TWICE. Chokers.
For tim sherwood to say Liverpool are missing Coutinho just confirms he doesn’t know football. The knock on effect of selling Coutinho is the reason why Liverpool are top of the league at the moment - need I spell it out to you ... Van Dirjk & Alisson
City to win the league lfc fan I’m sorry but i watched the game against West Ham and we lacked creativity and looked nervous, however there is a while to go and we have players injured who will return soon. And City have managed to equip themselves with one of the best managers in the world and a ridiculous amount of money, i mean their squad is so expensive However 1 thing that pisses me off is that City have LOST games to Newcastle, Leicester and Palace. But Sky gloss over that and focus on Liverpool drawing to Leicester and West Ham. The reason they do this is because Liverpool winning the league is something that almost seems impossible as it’s never happened.
those offside goal, and countless cheap pens from mo salad(Newcastle, Brighton and one or two more), and the general attitude of klopp and liverpool fans, I think everyone outside liverpool want city to win it. if sterling got the pens that mo salad cheaply won, city would be 10 points ahead, and if mo salad is sterling and didnt win that soft pens, liverpool would be below spurs. these are facts. referees want liverpool to win it. if klopp is Mourinho, he would have got multiples bans. remember, liverpool won the most pens in the history of premier league, and to think that most season they aren't even challenging and had brilliant team and attack all the time, says it all that referees do favor liverpool over other teams historically.
So no other football club in history has been favored from bad decisions? "If klopp is mou .. if mo is sterling ... If sterling got pens" 😂😂😂the delusion man
The amount of times Tim said city have wont the title is proof that all these guys can honestly do is talk without really thinking over exaggerating things. Most of them will struggle to be managers thats for sure ask Henry and Gary
Clyne's sale doesn't seem to be an error in judgement. He has been fit for a while and has lost his place to TAA. He's clearly had a disagreement about his place in the first team and wants to play regularly, which is reasonable. The Director of Football and Klopp have probably told Clyne before the Jan transfer window that 1) he's not preferred ahead of TAA, and 2) if another club comes in with a reasonable bid, they will loan or sell him on. TAA was only injured in mid-Jan, so even if they asked Clyne to reconsider, Clyne would have asked them whether he was going to be guaranteed a starting berth after TAA's return to full fitness. The answer to that would have been "no", and Clyne would have pushed on with the move. So, this is about showing respect to a player and keeping your word in the most difficult circumstances. This is just good leadership.
The most points Liverpool were clear was 5, winning a game in hand they will be 3 having not lost a single game in their "Dip of form". City closed a 2 point gap, congrats. There are 13 games left and Liverpool just got their squad back. City are more than beatable.
They are talking based on the facts. Middle line players are not good in Liverpool and it makes them difficult in the second half part of the long season.
I reckon it’ll go to the last game of the season and I can’t call it tbh. Liverpool always tend to finish a season strong and Man City are monsters but I still see them dropping points as they have a few tough fixtures left to play.
Did any of you watch Klopp's post match press conference? That might give some clues about the West Ham game, gents... We're happy for you to make Man City favourites. Walk on!
Liverpool don’t have the squad to be a champions, the fact that they are ahead of Man city without a center forward and attacking midfield is incredible.
City should be favourites for me, scored 68 goals and only 3 points behind playing most of the season without probably their best player in de Byrne and one of their most important in mendy. I doubt Liverpool would be challenging for the title now if Robertson and salah or firmino were out for most of the season. not to mention city missed out on signing a DM which they needed in jorhinio or Fred and have had to rely on a 33 year old to play there all season with stones and gundagon their only alternatives. Now KDB is back fit and mendy is coming back they are going to be much more dominant especially with the attacking width mendy gives them compared to Delph or Danilo.
Daniel Thompson Liverpool will have got 100m+ for just being in the prem last year and the sales of players covered much of their recent buys. If they have spent their budget then their owner is certainly taking some for himself
Listen this is Liverpool’s blip 2 and a defeat in 7 games draws whereas City’s were 3 defeats in 7 games so come on be real it’s still all to play for long way to go and judging by this form Liverpool are on top so people need to stop praising City they haven’t looked their best at all in recent months whereas Liverpool are just having their blip which is understandable because every top teams are allowed a blip in a season whereas Liverpool who are currently going through it now almost every is righting them of and not even giving them enough credit of what they have done so far this season and they will bounce back and will have a fully fit team in time for the run-in which is the most crucial part of the title race so it’s gonna be a tight one but Liverpool and even Tottenham are well still in it and also Liverpool are 3 points clear and City are playing their game in had against Everton so really people need to stop putting Liverpool off and if they can rediscover their form of 9 game winning streak it could be their year they just need to end this blip and get back to winning ways.
when u r directly competing man city for the title or champions league spot u should fear the smaller teams u play against rather than man city's form.
Oh liverpool are nervous, the pressure is getting to them, the history is holding them back thats why they drew the last 2 games. how about the fact that Klopp's preferred back four is currently not available due to injuries? Gomez is out, Trent is out. Backup CB lovren is out, milly playing RB. That's the real reason. loaning out Clyney was a bad move. Bad bad move.
It's easy to pick Man City to win the league, there are the best team and the defending Champs. They got the deepest team and more talented players. However, I am a Liverpool fan and I want to win and they are my pick to win it.
This Liverpool team arent the same team as 29 years ago. Literally completely different players. The pressure may be on the fans but not on the players.

Liverpool will forever be bottlers. they can hold this L with their friends Arsenal and Chelshit cuz United are taking 4th spot too! lol
Robert O Pass the weeds!
“Sherwood is stating facts” Football isn’t for you LOOOL
AquaTeenHungerFork it’s ok my friend, think what you will of me, just watch my predictions fall into place then can link up again at the end of the season
Robert O Not saying anything about you predictions but saying that about Sherwood just undermines your football knowledge LOOOL
Tim Sherwood forget Klopp is the manager and not himself ...
Rosenior saying ‘low-block’ 👏🏿👏🏿 Hope that’s a conscious effort to support Alex Scott
LIAM R. What an analyst, Wow.
I'm a Chelsea fan but I'd love Liverpool to win. But letting clyne go is such a huge mistake, Milner just doesn't provide that natural width
Jordan Saliba 👌
Do sky not read our comments? Stop bringing Tim Sherwood on to talk we don’t wanna hear him
As a Liverpool supporter I give;
Man city a 55% chance to win,
Liverpool a 45% chance
Should be a good race 😅

If we hadn't have sold Coutinho we wouldn't have van dijk or Allison, who have transformed us in title contenders. That said, I'd rather have all 3 of them!
Liam is my favourite pundit, speaks sense, isnt biased, doesnt stutter very clear. Keep it up my friend
Hardly
and? if you lose you suddenly lose your greatness?
I am a huge Liverpool fan. I do believe we will finish second to City. We just don't have the squad depth that they do. Let alone if someone like Van Dijk gets injured. If so, we will be screwed.
I like the way Liam answers his questions though 👌🏻

"I am not qualified enough to judge Jurgen Klopp" - class act Rosenior. Other pundits, take note, especially Gary Neville.
My only argument here is this:
Liverpool are still in the lead and have only lost 1 game - if anything they’re more likely to do it based on the season’s form so far. City could blip yet again for all we know
He didn’t sell Clyne he’s out on loan but I agree wasn’t clever
2 draws doesnt determine anything.
lol you are in winter but takes a summer break....how is that pushing for the tittle.....to push you need to be in it even climatically...lol
Concerned being Top of the League in February? No. I’m happy. Thank You
Im an LFC fan and I can understand people thinking City are favourites due to the squad depth and the experience but I do find it strange that just last week after they lost to Newcastle all the same people were saying that Liverpool were going to win it , that citys' form was not like it was etc etc yet know they win one game and they are saying "with the form city are in" they are going to win more games than Liverpool.
Liam Rosenior is a great pundit, I enjoyed listening to his analysis.

Sadio Mane's has not been helping liverpool to get any points starting from: Goals Mane scored but equalised by:
*27 October. Liverpool vs Cardiff city. 66th minute Mane - 77th minute C. Paterson.
*16th December. Liverpool vs Manchester United. 24th minute Mane - 33th minute Jesse lingard.
* 19th January. Liverpool vs Crystal palace. 90th minute Mane - 90th minute Max Meyer.
* 30th January. Liverpool vs Leicester city. 3rd minute Mane - 45th minute Harry Maguire.
* 4th February Westham United vs Liverpool. 22nd minute Mane - 28 minute Michall Antonio.
Let's all sit down to think about Sadio Mane's goals scoring for liverpool this season. Is he really helping the team as at now?
your an idiot
At first I felt bad for Liverpool but seeing the chances they've had to open up strong point advantages over Man City and they bottle it each time, I just can see myself (as a neutral fan in this race) seeing Liverpool winning. The lack of squad depth compared to ManC will be the telling factor of the season.
Would like to see Liam Rosenior on Match of The Day, top top pundit.
Sherwood talking out of his arse. City are so good, 4 defeats to liverpool's 1. A few unlucky injuries, they'll be in the thick of it again soon
Injuries happen to everyone:)
Liverpool getting gifted games by mahrez and everton.... plus teams might start not rolling over for them now they have seen leicester and west ham
Finishing third is more likely for Liverpool than actually winning the league.
Pep will pip it.
Chokers.
what if every top four team started losing and man united wins it . i know thats crazyyy
Yudish Varjangbhay deluded, but i hope it happens 😭😂😂
For tim sherwood to say Liverpool are missing Coutinho just confirms he doesn’t know football. The knock on effect of selling Coutinho is the reason why Liverpool are top of the league at the moment - need I spell it out to you ... Van Dirjk & Alisson
City to win the league
lfc fan
I’m sorry but i watched the game against West Ham and we lacked creativity and looked nervous, however there is a while to go and we have players injured who will return soon.
And City have managed to equip themselves with one of the best managers in the world and a ridiculous amount of money, i mean their squad is so expensive
However 1 thing that pisses me off is that City have LOST games to Newcastle, Leicester and Palace. But Sky gloss over that and focus on Liverpool drawing to Leicester and West Ham. The reason they do this is because Liverpool winning the league is something that almost seems impossible as it’s never happened.
It’s happened 18 times lad. League Football was around long before the name changed in 1992 and long before Sky
those offside goal, and countless cheap pens from mo salad(Newcastle, Brighton and one or two more), and the general attitude of klopp and liverpool fans, I think everyone outside liverpool want city to win it. if sterling got the pens that mo salad cheaply won, city would be 10 points ahead, and if mo salad is sterling and didnt win that soft pens, liverpool would be below spurs. these are facts. referees want liverpool to win it. if klopp is Mourinho, he would have got multiples bans. remember, liverpool won the most pens in the history of premier league, and to think that most season they aren't even challenging and had brilliant team and attack all the time, says it all that referees do favor liverpool over other teams historically.
Remember when Sterling stubbed his toe and got a pen? You're saying only Salah gets soft pens?
So no other football club in history has been favored from bad decisions? "If klopp is mou .. if mo is sterling ... If sterling got pens" 😂😂😂the delusion man
Liverpool will win it Liverpool win the weekend and city to get beat by Chelsea Liverpool 3pojnts ahead with game in hand 👍
Tim Sherwood is like an older Michael Owen in punditry
Yes.. there we go, sorted
Where the debate about the cat been the new signing for Everton Sky Sports really running out of ideas lol
Why do they let Tim Sherwood on?!?!
He literally never says anything of substance: "Tottenham are still in it"
Come on Tim...
Check your knowledge Tim, Sturridge has won the league as well. We have winners from other major leagues as well not just the EPL
The amount of times Tim said city have wont the title is proof that all these guys can honestly do is talk without really thinking over exaggerating things. Most of them will struggle to be managers thats for sure ask Henry and Gary
1. Man City 2. Liverpool 3. Spurs 4. Manchester United
My prediction for top 4.
same questions day in day out hahaha arent people bored with this and im a liverpool fan
Liam is a great young analyst
It's gona be hard with the FA in Liverpools back pocket this year
I reckon it’ll go to the last game of the season and I can’t call it tbh. Liverpool always tend to finish a season strong and Man City are monsters but I still see them dropping points as they have a few tough fixtures left to play.
This is a good team, injuries plagued them. Mancity must not think Liverpool are dead, they are so alive, City will be shocked
Did any of you watch Klopp's post match press conference? That might give some clues about the West Ham game, gents... We're happy for you to make Man City favourites. Walk on!
Liverpool
Man city
Spurs
Chelsea
Man Utd
Arsenal
Wolves
Liverpool don’t have the squad to be a champions, the fact that they are ahead of Man city without a center forward and attacking midfield is incredible.
Real talk. Man City have more solutions in scoring goals, Liverpool rely on the front three and they can’t find the space to exploit.
liverpool messed up by drawing 2 games in a row. Like what is wrong with their players? The only player that seems composed is Mané and VVD
Miracle will happen and Liverpool just enjoy the pressure
Rosenior is SPOT ON. best punditry ive heard in a long time. sherwood is absolutely clueless however.
I see rosenoir *click instatly*
They have a game in hand but I still see Man City winning, seem more unlikely for them to make unnecessary slip ups.
I still don't understand why they let clyne go 🤦♂️
Tottenham managed to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race couple years ago yet people think they're going to win the title this year...
We have no backup for the front 3.. should’ve bought Wenner, CB & attaching midfielder
Who's paying for that though? They're not an oil rich super billionaire club.
They already spent their budget on Alisson and Van Dijk
Daniel Thompson Liverpool will have got 100m+ for just being in the prem last year and the sales of players covered much of their recent buys. If they have spent their budget then their owner is certainly taking some for himself
Listen this is Liverpool’s blip 2 and a defeat in 7 games draws whereas City’s were 3 defeats in 7 games so come on be real it’s still all to play for long way to go and judging by this form Liverpool are on top so people need to stop praising City they haven’t looked their best at all in recent months whereas Liverpool are just having their blip which is understandable because every top teams are allowed a blip in a season whereas Liverpool who are currently going through it now almost every is righting them of and not even giving them enough credit of what they have done so far this season and they will bounce back and will have a fully fit team in time for the run-in which is the most crucial part of the title race so it’s gonna be a tight one but Liverpool and even Tottenham are well still in it and also Liverpool are 3 points clear and City are playing their game in had against Everton so really people need to stop putting Liverpool off and if they can rediscover their form of 9 game winning streak it could be their year they just need to end this blip and get back to winning ways.
cant even argue... we rely too much on the front 3
when u r directly competing man city for the title or champions league spot u should fear the smaller teams u play against rather than man city's form.
Liverpool need a free kick specialist to get them goals in tight situations.
If it was the same, you guys would have a better chance
@@vita24733 I'm only responding to the comments that everyone makes about the '29 years of pressure this team are feeling right now'. No this team has only really been playing together for 3 years not 29. When Liverpool ar 1-0 down this team don't think "We came back against Milan in Istanbul we can do it again now" because it's a different team.
Chokers in order Sarri>Poch>Klopp>Emery
If Liverpool let it slip after all the help the officials are giving them, It will be worse than that Gerrard slip to let in Demba Ba!
You don't see plenty better pundits than Liam gotta say.
