@@relax9674 Gravenberch is also still very young, at this age you sometimes have good and bad periods. In my opinion, it is particularly good that Arne Slot has now gotten him to this point (starting position/important). Because after his good period at Ajax, he moved to Bayern when he was 20, where he had a hard time. Which in itself makes sense because of the new culture, environment and his young age. After one year at Bayern, he joined Liverpool and it took another year before he made a breakthrough! The moral of this story is that Arne Slot really makes players better and mainly allows young players to take big steps in their development. Erik Ten Hag did an expetional job with Ajax, but during the years at MU he never really achieved anything like he did with Ajax, even though he had all the money at his disposal. Arne has shown progress with all his teams! Both with the team and with individual (young) players
He certainly was. Not only that, but in his early Ajax days he had Clarence Seedorf alongside him. How much they be worth if they were in their prime today?
@jameswhitfield1375 those two on pro evolution soccer had a long range shot power of 95 meaning they would score from 30 yards no problem! Especially seedorf😂
He was my favourite player Juventus player from the period, above Del Piero, Zidane, Inzaghi, Trezeguet, etc. Juventus management did him (and the legendary Baggio) dirty. Moggi ran the club excellently, buying and selling players but those two were mistakes.
@@lws7394The sentiment makes sense bc the type of player Davids is is always underestimated by people bc you often don't notice their importance unless you specifically pay attention to them. Especially in those days ppl undervalued good defensive midfielders, now maybe less so
very interesting point he makes about being inventive as slots training techniques are very different to klopps and they would get the best out of players
I think his respectful testimony of NL-ARG says a lot about Davids. Half of the country could eat Messi's guts but he thinks it was great to see a Messi like that. I respect that.
Listen closely what Edgar is saying at 1:44. This is confirmed what Arne recently said in an interview. Ninety percent of the time, Arne thinks about how to engage, trigger, motivate his players. How to get inside their heads and make them (over)perform. We saw this in the Netherlands with Feyenoord as well.
Yes, it's a good start, but let's appreciate how well Klopp and company prepared the club for this transition. It's rare that all parties, manager, coaching staff, management and players, all work together in unison towards the same goal. It's basically the same quality players that Slot has to work with, so there were no man-management issues that had to be resolved. Contrast that to some of the other clubs, like Man Utd. So yes, Slot has done well, but the excellent preparation for his takeover helped get things off to a good start.
If you look at his former clubs than you really see how amazing Slot is as an manager. Everybody is talking about Gravenberch but he was not playing under Klopp….
@@nonnayoubuzinnes1669Well it was Palace who delivered the hammer blow to Liverpool when they were top of the league at Anfield,a team Slot has already beaten. The NF result was a fluke and we could say that about Palace last season. It's football.

I dont agree with him in case of the Argentina game. They where unsportieve and should had have at least 2 red cards, one of themMessi himself. And standing fir the bench like that is unacceptable. Argentina was helped by the refereree en Fifa as well. So the tournament winnar must be named as very suspicious and the benifit of the corruption inside Fifa

@EclecticTV-iq1cz hes been good but the last to performances against the better teams hes been poor.
Only pronunciation of Ryan Gravenberch that actually sounds Dutch 👏
Now that's surprising 🤦🏻
Edgar the legend
The legend himself Davids
Kids these days dont know how iconic of a player this man was, and still to this day
Yep, I remember in the Nike football boot adverts, this man was always the star of the show which was unheard of for a number 6/defensive midfielder
we cant watch him so ofc we dont
