Alex Ferguson, without question, is the best manager of the modern era. People forget the 115 FFP allegations, which already puts an asterisk against previous accolades for City, and Pep, in recent years. What has Alex Ferguson done? - lead Aberdeen (ABERDEEN!) to a European trophy (modern day Europa League) beating Real Madrid in the final, unheard of. - proceeded to win the European Super Cup, beating Hamburg (modern-day Champions League winners) - knocked both Celtic and Rangers of the Scottish perch, winning the Scottish PL three times and the Scottish Cup four times in the space of eight years. No other team has won the Scottish PL, other than Rangers or Celtic, since. - 13 premier league titles, 5 FA cups, 2 champions leagues with United. - A treble with United, which was unheard of in English football (at the time). - United won the Premier League with Cleverly (13 league apps), Evans (21 league apps, a young De Gea (28 league apps) and Rafael (27 league apps) at right back in 2013. Pep, a revolutionary manager, has always had backing at each club he's been appointed. A tactical genius, no doubt about it, but to put his name against SAF's is criminal, and I'm sure many will agree. There is not enough 'unheard of's' in Pep's career for him to be in the question. Pep has generated some huge talents, has so many accolades at three different clubs, but has always had his freedom to pick the players he feels suited to his visions and tactics at the club's he's managed. Pep is the second best manager of all time, no doubt about it. Give Pep the '96 United team and tell me if he wins the Prem, I don't think so. I want opinions though!
Vidic gets in over Kompany imo. His 08/09 season was baffling how insanely good he was. He conceded less goals than prime Van dijk in 08/09. He has to have a shout at least
Scholes is far better than DB. Different players to be fair. DB is a number 10. Scholes? Different class. One of the best midfield field players ever. Don't ask me, ask Xavi, Zidane, Iniesta, Pep: the list is endless.
Goalkeeper and full backs can be debated I guess but Rio, Vidic are the centre backs. Scholes, De Bruyne, David Silva is the midfield and Rooney, Ronaldo, Cantona is the forward line
Imagine if you combine all the players from each position. Ederson and Schmeichel combined would be insane, so would Keane and Rodri, hell, even Dias and Ferdinand, and obviously, Pep and Ferguson.
The disrespect towards Roy Keane is absolutely unbelievable. He was an absolutely exceptional football player, and the greatest captain in Premier league history. He is the first name on my teamsheet all day. He drove man united to premier league after premier and trophy after trophy. Keane all day over Rodri
Pep will end his career as the greatest manager of all time for what has he has done ACROSS his times at Barca, Bayern and City, plus whatever he does after. But Ferguson, for not only the trophies and records, but for the longevity and reinventing that team almost entirely 3 times and still being successful, will always be the greatest manager of a MANCHESTER club in my opinion, unless Pep keeps up what he is doing AT City for another decade.
Honestly the overhyping of CR7 is crazy! The guy gets in over Giggs and Rooney is mind boggling...the guy had basically 2 good seasons then wanted away!!! He is praised for his Real Madrid days. Rooney is the all time top scorer but United fans have CR7 over him and Beckham....honestly its mental!

Also, his form continued at real Madrid, not like it dipped meaning he used the epl as a stepping stone to more greatness, not like he went to spain and lost form
Honestly a midfield of Scholes, Keane and Yaya Toure scares me more than any other possible midfield options available and I’m surprised that evra or Zinchenko weren’t mentioned for Left back
I would've put Silva (David) instead of Rodri, and instead of Silva, I'd play a Sterling card, and with Silva in midfield, I'd have Haaland up front instead of Mahrez. Also, not playing Beckham or Cantona, even as a City fan, I think is criminal.
Pep has always been at a club with big name players, I don’t think he could have done what sir Alex did with Aberdeen. Therefore he has to be the manager of this best 11 squad. Also Keane gets in over anyone in that midfield, if you started to drop off in a game he would drag you back up and motivate the whole squad. There’s no one like Keane and that’s why he won everything. Next level winning mentality

Totally different starts and career paths. In my opinion still SAF impresses me more and is definetly harder to accomplish than what Pep has done.
I get your logic. But you have to realize that there’s no overlap here. Fergie’s teams didn’t produce 90+ points every season but I get that Fergie maximized players potential to win.
Silva over Giggs on the Left is a madness.......YNWA
Facts
It's not really madness, Giggs a legend mostly for longevity, consistently a 7-8/10 for 20 years. But Silva was special, Hazard level one man game changer but he should be at number 10 position, wasn't really a winger and wouldn't get in over Rooney there.
@@scottyh1238 Exactly so Giggs on the wing is better and was one of the best wingers in Prem History

They are not doing comedy, they're serious at their work.

Not having yaya in that midfield is criminal
Yaya over Scholes/KDB or even Rooney would be more criminal
Alex Ferguson, without question, is the best manager of the modern era. People forget the 115 FFP allegations, which already puts an asterisk against previous accolades for City, and Pep, in recent years. What has Alex Ferguson done?
- lead Aberdeen (ABERDEEN!) to a European trophy (modern day Europa League) beating Real Madrid in the final, unheard of.
- proceeded to win the European Super Cup, beating Hamburg (modern-day Champions League winners)
- knocked both Celtic and Rangers of the Scottish perch, winning the Scottish PL three times and the Scottish Cup four times in the space of eight years.
You have to include the greatest ever premier league captain: Roy Keane
Rodri is the best ever midfielder of all time
Vidic gets in over Kompany imo. His 08/09 season was baffling how insanely good he was. He conceded less goals than prime Van dijk in 08/09. He has to have a shout at least
Schmeichel Vidic Ferdinand Irwin Neville Keane Scholes De bruyne ronaldo giggs rooney
If rodri played for anyone else hed be considered one of the best of all time already. Facts
Delusional new fan Keane is clear
Rodri isn't fit to lace Keane's boots.
Saying "Scholes" is better than "DeBruyne" means your eyes don't work man...
Scholes is far better than DB. Different players to be fair. DB is a number 10. Scholes? Different class. One of the best midfield field players ever. Don't ask me, ask Xavi, Zidane, Iniesta, Pep: the list is endless.
Schmeichel, Walker, Ferdinand, Stam, Irwin, Keane, Scholes, De bruyne, Rooney, Ronaldo, Aguero

Dias? I love Dias but all time xi right now? He’s only 25. 😅
Yaya toure better than rodri but decent
Aguero should be in there. Rodri out since he played for City since 2019
Onana > Van De Sar
Yh i think the fact Evra wasn't even mentioned is a massive disrespect! He was great for united and i'm not a fan of either team.
Van der sar, walker, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Keane, Scholes, De Bruyne, Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs
Goalkeeper and full backs can be debated I guess but Rio, Vidic are the centre backs. Scholes, De Bruyne, David Silva is the midfield and Rooney, Ronaldo, Cantona is the forward line
@TP-pq9xx Dias and Rodri are brilliant…WAY to early to include either of them though
Imagine if you combine all the players from each position. Ederson and Schmeichel combined would be insane, so would Keane and Rodri, hell, even Dias and Ferdinand, and obviously, Pep and Ferguson.

Kompany

The disrespect towards Roy Keane is absolutely unbelievable. He was an absolutely exceptional football player, and the greatest captain in Premier league history. He is the first name on my teamsheet all day. He drove man united to premier league after premier and trophy after trophy. Keane all day over Rodri
Future FC vs History FC lol
Pep will end his career as the greatest manager of all time for what has he has done ACROSS his times at Barca, Bayern and City, plus whatever he does after. But Ferguson, for not only the trophies and records, but for the longevity and reinventing that team almost entirely 3 times and still being successful, will always be the greatest manager of a MANCHESTER club in my opinion, unless Pep keeps up what he is doing AT City for another decade.
Pep did nothing at Bayern though
rodri vs keane 🤣🤣🤣
mad discussion specially after rodri's name was there 🤣
"Your guy didn't do anything" says Flex when talking about champions league performance for Rodri jfc
Bringing Gael Clichy to the table to battle Dennis Irwin is embarrassing
Nice to hear Walker getting all the credit he deserves!
He was top 3 best player for 3 seasons at utd and was the best 08.only epl player to have won all the individual awards In the world available to be won in that particular season.only epl player to win ballondor and world best.won epl, champions league, European golden boot as a wide forward.put some respect on his name.
Also, his form continued at real Madrid, not like it dipped meaning he used the epl as a stepping stone to more greatness, not like he went to spain and lost form
How is Yaya Toure not an automatic pick
Honestly a midfield of Scholes, Keane and Yaya Toure scares me more than any other possible midfield options available and I’m surprised that evra or Zinchenko weren’t mentioned for Left back
Underrated ballers
Because de bruyne has to be in
Midfield is difficult. Rodri & KDB have to be in then either yaya or scholes depending on what you want
@@NoName-pl7zm Not necessarily De Bruyne is good but Yaya is a must for an all time 11 either drop Scholes or Keane to fit Both Yaya and De Bruyne in
I would've put Silva (David) instead of Rodri, and instead of Silva, I'd play a Sterling card, and with Silva in midfield, I'd have Haaland up front instead of Mahrez.
Out of every position, I think United has the best attacking force's in the world out of all the teams in the league, they have had Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs, Cantona, Van Nistelrooy, Van Persie, Michael Owen, Forlan, Ole. In THIS era alone. That is a thing that no team could do now, Even City with their cash, have only had 2 class strikers in Halaand and Aguero.
😂😂 barca madrid and Liverpool have had way better attackers
Thats because Aguero’s longevity was endless. Cantona, Van Persie, Owen, Forlan, Ole and Van Nistelrooy all had far shorter runs. Owen and Forlan were absolutely awful for United as well, so no idea why you’re mentioning them. City have also had 3 elite strikers, youre forgetting Tevez.

Absolute nonsense . Ferguson was a dinosaur . All he knew was 4-4-2 and if that wasn't working to take off a midfielder ad throw on a striker. People talk about Pep spending money . Ferguson bought Dwight Yorke for about 12million back in 1997 . Thats equivalent of £150 million today. Ferguson got lucky with his ''92 class'' . His history of signings were atrocious for every Ronaldo there was 3 Djemba Djembas . For every Rooney there was a Forlan , Alan Smith .
