Yes! This thing looks absolutely incredible. I LOVE Nuno. He's in my top 3 players of all time, alongside EVH and George Lynch. Please can we get more Nuno! Would love another Steal These Licks episode. Maybe some of that hammer-on palm muted goodness! Thanks Cam as always
Awesome demo as usual Cam. Very cool specs. Though I have to say I never got the appeal of a reverse headstock. Kind of diminishes the overall look of a guitar in my opinion. But to each his own...
I live in Italy, in a big city like Milan, and for at least 20 years (I'm 53) I haven't seen a single music store (in Milan or anywhere else in Italy) that sells Washburn guitars. What's even worse is that I can't find any resellers in the rest of Europe that sell them either. Every time I've asked guitar stores why they don't sell Washburn anymore, they've always told me that the quality of their products was so bad (except for a few very expensive American models) that they decided to stop buying anything from them. Since I'm already writing, I wanted to mention something about those videos you made a while back where you were so excited about the Yamaha THR10 and THR10II amps. I bought a THR10II myself because I was really impressed by how close you got to the Van Halen sound in your video. I tried everything you suggested to get that same tone (using the same settings you suggested), but I couldn't quite make it happen. I even swapped out the pickup on my Ibanez for a high-output DiMarzio X2N, and I still couldn't get that level of gain. I tried with a Gibson Les Paul too, but no luck. I think there are several possible explanations for this: 1) you were using an overdrive pedal before the amp 2) you were playing at a very high volume, absolutely incompatible with a home environment 3) you recorded the audio not by micing the amp but by using the headphone output and plugging it into a sound card where you processed it
All of those points you mentioned I don't do. I don't own overdrive pedal for a start. I can't play at high volume same way most people can't. And I don't own a sound card either. No point since the Yamaha is it's own interface. I plugged the Yamaha THR30II into my computer using the exact same settings I shared on my RUclips channel. I don't do any further processing afterwards either. I just synchronise the audio with the video clips.
You need to buy that guitar. I've been watching your channel since you had spots on your face and this is the most versatile sounding video you've produced. Your videos generally use one sound, off the THX I think. This guitar changed things. It could definitely widen your playing and style. Just my opinion. Great playing, as always.
Hi Cameron. Just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying your video's and the your level of play Manship on various pieces of wood, breathtaking actually such a joy to watch Do you have any plans to show us a few riffs by one of my favourite guitar players...Dan Huff?
I wish I could choose to have that neck with the maple fretboard on an N4 along with only the bridge pickup and then I would stripe it to look close to Nuno’s bumble bee guitar!
It’s got a look of the Kotzen especially with the stacked humbler and a tele shape and twang pickup. I just got one of those and she it’s a beast. Still want an N4 though 😛
Great Vid Cam. Question : does the reversed headstock not make the top strings ( the ones you are more likely to want to bend) tight, and the lower strings loose?
Great playing and Demo Cameron. Love Nuno, like the pickup switching options but for me the guitar is dull and looks like a rmiddle school woodwork project😮. Having to remove the neck to adjust the truss rod on a ‘non-vintage’ style guitar retailing over £2000 is not what I would expect.
cool toggle switch. volume knob might be a bit too far away for my use. the "stephens cutaway" badging is horrid, but i suppose could be just chiseled away.
I love reading comments by wound up overly opinionated nobodys. As the wise man said,"If ya don't like what you see here get the funk out". And leave a nasty comment on the way ha ha ha.
While I'd love to have one, thing that doesn't get mentioned is what a pain it is to adjust the truss rod. Just like on my vintage N4, you have to take the neck off. Why!? Oh Why!?
I can't wait for this ugly Tele Faze to pass! It's the ugliest most Boring body shape ever made! The reverse headstock is cool, but hey, whatever! The 6-way Toggle I have to get for a real guitar! As usual, you sound great! If you would look great with LONG hair bring back guitar heroes! Not bedroom jockeys! You are a great player, I want you to know that!
@@CameronCooper HaHaHa! Sorry, I'm stuck in the 80s still! I guess I think long hair looks cool still! The banker look is hard to get used to! Plus I had the longest and maybe the Highest hair on the Sunset Strip! Also, my guitar teacher was Randy Rhoads and I basically followed what he did! Anyway, like I said, you are a great player, do you plan on releasing anything and playing in a band? It would be cool, and believe me there is nothing like touring! I loved going on tour and all the crazy stuff and girls you tend to meet! It isn't good for a marriage, but otherwise.....! Well, keep up the great playing, you are a great very talented guitar player!

I don't know if it's your EQ but it sounds too thin, it sounds like somebody made a low cut on the 1k frequency. For a $2,500 guitar it sounds like shit, you do play really well... but the guitar it's a NO
Finally a guitar tester who knows how to play. That was flawless all those positions ouch. Awesome tone control.
Fantastic guitar playing

Brother your playing is so smooth... You have be come so well rounded in your expression on the guitar. Bravo!
Great playing, as ever. Congratulations on the Charvel demo as well. Love that you're doing that now.
What a nice guitar, you really bring out it's potential.
Superb playing, Cameron.
Terrific playing as usual!
Definitely has that tele twang. Nice demo 🤘
Great Demo loved The Brothers Osborne Shoot me Straight riff you threw in.
I love that band
Damned , I love that guitar !!!!!!!!! superb natural finition and super great tones
Suprised that Washburn still exists 😮
Man. That's a cool guitar 😮. All kinds of tones😊
dig the headstock - nice demo
Un-bloody-real, I really appreciate!
Just beautiful. ❤
Cameron Cooper that guitar is just sick and so is your playing bro 6 way toggle switch holy balls
Awesome demo as usual Cam. Very cool specs. Though I have to say I never got the appeal of a reverse headstock. Kind of diminishes the overall look of a guitar in my opinion. But to each his own...
I always saw it as form follows function. A reverse headstock is a lot more ergonomic. Your hand is already in the position to retune while playing.
FINALLY! I’m not the only one with a 6 way switch. I read Jimmy Page used one and haven’t looked back in 12 years.
Mad skills! I hope you make the transition from student to artist while you're still young, I want to hear your album.
I already released original material
Cool guitar. Killer playing!
I really like tones on this guitar and always loved non painted guitars very cool indeed.🤟🏻
Yeah swamp ash is a really light wood. Awesome! I like it. I would opt for the Deluxe 😉
An outstanding demonstration of an outstanding instrument. Yea, I want one.
Amazing playing, tasty sound👍👏💯
Was für eine geile Gitarre!! Man hört die Single coils und den harten Hals
Incredible playing and a great review, Cam! Where can I check out the electric version of Midnight Express you mentioned? I can’t find that anywhere

It's really a shame how few guitars have the Stephens cutaway. It's an absolutely incredible innovation
Great riffs.
Thats awesome
The Brothers Osborne riff you threw in there at 6:07 was unexpected but soooo good 🔥

I don't think I've seen Nuno play the nele yet
Great Vid Cam. Question : does the reversed headstock not make the top strings ( the ones you are more likely to want to bend) tight, and the lower strings loose?
I didn't notice anything, it felt fine

There is a truss rod adjustment routing in the body. You don’t need to remove the neck.
Thanks, how is the truss rod accessed? From the video reviews there doesn’t look to be enough space to access it above the neck pickup.
@@steviesynapse A properly shaped hex key wil do the job.
Only Wish the toggle could be in upper location of body!
Wanna try that so bad!
Love your playing. Love Nuno. Really really hate that guitar.
Jump! Open the window! Its easy!
cool toggle switch. volume knob might be a bit too far away for my use. the "stephens cutaway" badging is horrid, but i suppose could be just chiseled away.
I wouldn't get a chisel on it at all unless you want to totally destroy the value of a guitar for the sake of something tiny.
I wonder how it compares to Richie Kotzen‘s Fender Japan signature Tele? Probably closer to the Nuno deluxe version because of the maple top.
The first time I saw the Nele I needed❤
Would love to see the Poker Chip Gibson would make for that switch
Redundant poker chip
Fantastic!! I love the look of the standard too!
WAY too much $$$$
You don't have to buy it 😂😂
Strange how the Telecaster became the new fad a few years ago.
I think Richie Kotzen inspired this and rubbed off on Nuno lol!
Is the toggle switch easy to accidentally knock on to the out of phase sounds if you’re flipping between pickups quickly?
Not really, just got to be careful.
I wish I could get an N4! I've wanted one since I first saw them, and they've always been hard to find, and out of my price range?
Ive had 2 Nele Deluxe's. Ended up selling them both. Awesome guitar but, after a bit they just hung on the wall. My 4N is the go to Nuno.
Always loved the Nuno guitars but the bodies are a little too small for me.
Whats the setup?!
Fender fever has a 2nd hand one for 2k 🎉
My arsenal too broke for this one
I like the playing more than the guitar 🎸
7:14 where is this nasty riff from? Nice!
It's a modified version of Bad Wolves - Back In The Days
A Super Tele
Washburn is still around?
They certainly are
Why arent you in Megadeth, your playing is incredible!!
@iainwhite3476 Nobody wants to work for Mustaine 🤣
Das die Tuner unten angebracht sind ist auch besser !!! ist bei Fender eigentlich eine Fehlkonstruktion LG Steve WEA München 👍👍😉
Nice guitar but never seen him play it
6:33 man played the rise lick
Cameron Cooper is one of the best guitar players there is as is Nuno but guitar is rather hideous in my opinion
That’s a lot of bread for a guitar you can build in your garage.
Price?
the grain match on that 2 piece top is kinda DansGame

It's a case 0:03
@CameronCooper thanks for responding but I was jesting around... I hate gigbags.
Sounds great with you playing it but for me its so boring looking.
Simplicity is the killer...
This is what happens when you hang with Ritchie Kotzen too much.... You realize that the Tele format is the best elcetric guitar ever made ... lol
