More please. Start from the beginning of the process as well Also, keep talking. When I was making videos, I found that it's a lot of information that I wasn't saying bc I was so used to the processes of what I was doing. (Not roofing, I don't know anything about roofing, but I'm here to learn) Explaining the type of nail gun Nails (size, length) Compressor Shingles Tar Plastic circles (whatever they are) Wood Etc I've learned so much just from this one video
I feel weird enjoying long form content of this but your chill positive vibe and strong work ethic paired with nature sounds makes this awesome viewing. Great shorts, content, and general vibe dude 🤝
Only about five minutes into the video and I honestly have to say that I'm happy to see that there are still people like you in the trades. Seeing you do things like loading the lid of the tar can with tar and talking about how you worked in the morning and in the afternoon to avoid the heat makes me think of all the times I've been called, lazy, useless, and stupid for doing and suggesting those very things. I only lasted eight years as a roofer before I had to stop due to developing back and shoulder problems, so knowing that there's at least one other person out there who does them as well gives me some level of closure that I wasn't the one in the wrong, I was just someone who knew and understood the toll this job takes on the body and wanted to try and save myself some pain in the long run.
We need more full videos, like this is really satisfying for me and has me settled. Simple work and a simple video❤❤ PLEASE RELEASE LONGER VIDEOS, from when u land on the job sight to the end if u can, would be cool seeing u set up in my opinion
After watching this, I'm wondering why my roof and neighbors' roofs are all missing shingles in large patches. Our homes were built only 2 years ago here in TX. I guess they ran out of nails.. soo frustrating. I'm glad there are people like you doing a good job.
My sisters boyfriend couldn't hire someone, so I went and did a day with him plastering houses in the Australian summer. I am quite a strong guy so I started the day out hoisting 2 bags of plastering cement up the scaffolding ramp, all the way up three stories. I did it thinking it would save energy by lessening how much I need to walk up and down that ramp, but instead I burnt myself out within 2 hours on the job and had to spend the rest of the day sporadically helping out and taking shade underneath the ramp to be out of the sun. In my defense I'm a bit of a couch potato and he was much more conditioned for it. This work looks hard in this video, in reality it's even harder.
I'm a 16 year old dude who's been doin construction for quite a bit. Any advice in general for me who's aboutta start workin in other trades? I appreciate your videos greatly as well. You're a very lighthearted and professional tradesman.🤙Keep up the great work
Where do you live, no one does tar on drip edge where I am, guessing your in a high wind area like Florida, Texas etc, dang, commented to soon, just heard you say Florida
I'm not even a roofer but watching this vid was so relaxing and enjoyable. Gives me a look into the type of job working on my own roof is going to be like. Also love the simplistic nature of it, no editing (not necessary) just you and the roof
Im a nurse now but i started with roofing with my dad from 16 to 20. I dont miss those 92°F days on the roof, the only benefit being it was too hot for the blackflies to be out. Now im indoors, central AC, bathroom access, a water machine with ice, and all of the other amenities of a hospital haha. Keep up the great work! I imagine doing this solo must be comfy, or too quiet
I just wanna say. I'm talking directly to the tarmaster man I just started watching your videos. You are amazing man. And I've only watched like two of your videos. But managing. To work on. Roofs. And be a musician. Is just talent. That's pure talent. I just wanna say. Love your videos love what your doing You have an amazing day man You are awesome. Never let anything bring you down. You are on the right track. And you shocked me even more when you reloaded that gun. So fast. Have a great day. And it's night time for me right now, so technically, goodnight. Hope you see this man.👍👍👍✌✌
Where's all your roofing vids? You said you've been posting them for 4 years but I don't see them. Your channel is mostly music vids. Did you delete them or something?
Very nice sir. I came here from the shorts because I wanted a full length video. Could you do more? Maybe a whole roof from start to finish. It’s a lot to ask for but it sure would be cool. 😊
love the videos- dad is a all around construction worker/assistant boss ..i love roofing its like asmr to me in a way, question though- If im afraid of hieghts you know of any tips to get over it in order to be a roofer. I have the stature/health and tools to do it, just the height problem blocks me from being able to perform it, thanks Tarmaster - love from NC
Its really interesting what you said about you being lighter and smaller so your back doesnt bother you too much roofing. Because the first thing i thought when i saw you bending down to put the shingles on is fuck if i had to do that everyday my back would he absolutely wrecked. Its already messed up and i dont bend over nearly that much in my job.
Awesome video always was like man he should show the start to finish process. Teach me the way you do your weave!!! I need to improve on my roofing abilities any tips would be awesome
Anyone else's buthole clench looking over the edge of the roof. Im literally watching this to get over my fear of heights and its not working. lol im at 16:22 and im clenching hard.
Idk anything about roofing but I think you missed a nail. At least from the pattern I saw you doing. It was right at the 2 reload of nails. I'm sure this stuff happens all the time but I was wondering if you just missed it or there was a reason?
I’ve seen many of your shorts on my fyp and as a roofer myself I’ve always wondered what the tar is for. I live in Alberta and I’ve never seen tar used to cover the nails on drip-edge, the climate is fairly dry here. I noticed you said you work in Florida, is the tar needed due to humidity or is it just a difference in code?
U so over cap nailed n a righty goes left to right to b more ergonomically efficient.listen i probably sound like a jerk but this is all constructive criticism im known in all nj ny n philly
Dude a tarmaster is on a flat all this is overkill n u dont even tape bro. This is old installation n far superflous in many respects fact that any flat roofer wouldnt use a mason pointed trowel to a rounded is embarassing.improvise adapt improve upon old fashioned thinking.love that u love what u do thats great but theirs alot of plateaued n stagnant technique n application. That mindset is not what should b instilled in any roofing siding window mechanic.
Dude u got a resedential grade aluminum ladder thats like pulling a ryobi out on a wrksite its blue or black grade ladder n at that height u should have a werner telescope ladder
Full vids! (Tar goop sounds)

What this dude said ^
The most important part of the day is getting in the car and going home to your family.
Be dependable. Even when you think you have the right not to be.
this guy is an absolute professional, sorry about your uncle though.
How much per sq do you charge? Also, what compressor are you running?
very nice, love people who are passionate in their work
i think i just found the roofing version of bob ross and i love it
Where do you live, no one does tar on drip edge where I am, guessing your in a high wind area like Florida, Texas etc, dang, commented to soon, just heard you say Florida
Hey man I just watched a bunch of vids through your channel 🤙 Also, Yoga works amazing for the back brother

You have such a good voice and wholesome attitude to match. thanks for sharing! Yo that speed reload was electric ⚡⚡
I'm not even a roofer but watching this vid was so relaxing and enjoyable. Gives me a look into the type of job working on my own roof is going to be like. Also love the simplistic nature of it, no editing (not necessary) just you and the roof

Do you do the whole thing solo? Underlayment plywood flashing the whole 9 solo?
Also you’re always using Owen’s corning shingle, why are those preferance for you? Thanks, love the full vids!

This was golden
are you interested in collaborating with smaller channel!? i need to reroof and would love to get up there and learn something from you
man i could watch this for hours
The single most satisfying roofing video I have ever watched! Been on roof all day myself and definitely wasn’t as satisfying as this 😂
The *shingle most satisfying. Is that what you meant?
Im from Australia so the craziest thing to me about this whole video is the fact he said it was 8pm and the sun was still up 😂🤷♂️
I’m a dumb Canadian 😂 you guys are in winter right now? Here were like sunrise around 6 and set around 9 right now. Winter days are short
Here in india where i live sunrise is around 5am and sunset at 6:35 pm
Yessss. I have nothing to do with roofing but love your videos. 😂

Nothing better after a hot long day in the trades watching someone do roofing just can’t get enough lol
What’s the pitch? I’ve got a 7/12 carport. Rookie. Will my bundles and tools slip off the roof?
Great🤘😝🤘

The way you move so smoothly and work so confidently right at the edge of the roof is impressive! Great vid, more of this please!
Idk anything about roofing but I think you missed a nail. At least from the pattern I saw you doing. It was right at the 2 reload of nails. I'm sure this stuff happens all the time but I was wondering if you just missed it or there was a reason?

Can u train me ? I’m a roofer in Florida but I still have a lot to learn
The thumbnail looks like an album cover. I thought he had dropped a whole ass album about tarring 😂
U so over cap nailed n a righty goes left to right to b more ergonomically efficient.listen i probably sound like a jerk but this is all constructive criticism im known in all nj ny n philly
This is so cool.
Im thinking about pursuing a career in roofing, how much would i make working for a construction company starting out

I keep watching hoping I’ll see some shingles I’ve made show up. One day 🤞
Good stuff man.
It would be cool to see a truck tour soon see what tools and setup you like to go with.
Stay cool in this heat! Have a good one.
I wish they did this kind of roof where i live. Its so much more efficient. UK weather would destroy that roof in no time though :/
When you're nailing why do you do the first 4-5 nails close together then a big gap for the last one?
just curious why you're not using peel and stick in florida
Did i just see bro speedload a nailgun... thats so fuckin ccool
Dude u got a resedential grade aluminum ladder thats like pulling a ryobi out on a wrksite its blue or black grade ladder n at that height u should have a werner telescope ladder
How come you didn't stagger the drip edge nails?
What kind of shoes do you use for roofing? Seems sticky and not slippery.
Hey man, how do you deal with foot/ankle pain? what kind of shoes do you wear? does it matter?
How do you get around the OSHA fall pro laws in Florida?
The hottest time of day is 3-6 ! Your schedule is smart
You’re a beast though bro
I have the same FJ cruiser. Do you ever have issues with water leaking in to the vehicle?
And why don't you hand someone throwing shingles out for you so much faster to get the job done.
need more vids JUST like this dude it will blow up, work on the titles though to draw more in
I would love to have videos of you working on roofs like just 3 hours of you just non-stop working on roof your whole work day roofing
More full form content, its great to chill to
What’s the whole purpose of starter strips if you flip the first shingle upside down then place another right side up
This stuff is great! You should post full videos like other folks are saying
How come you space out your 5th and 6th nail so far apart? And not use 7 nails?
More like a lower back workout for me 😅
Finally full length videos! Can you do a video on how to shingle a Valley first?
Just curious why do you leave a larger gap between the 5th and 6th nail
Oh no back problems give a few more years my friend youll see dont speak too soon
why aren't you using hand staple for the felt paper its so much faster to put on and you don't get nails that popping up.
I’d watch these just like I watch that dude mow peoples lawns lol Keep it up!
Ole boy sounding like Hoggle on Labyrinth
Is this the roof of a house in which people are supposed to live in, or a garage or something?
