Britt Waller no. X men was dominating the sales of marvel in the 90s, the avengers weren’t on their level, and after awful mismanagement, there popularity dropped, just so the Avengers could be Marvel’s #1, I guess mutantphobia exists in real life as well
It has some nice moments, some good writing here and there and some truly great voice acting in places, but a lot of the scripts are awful, while the animation started off mediocre and only got worse as the show progressed. I loved it as a kid, but it hasn't aged well.
The closest thing we have to a Dazzler series right now is the original Jem cartoon. The early Dazzler comics, which came out before that show, actually bear some strong similarities -- with the exception that Dazzler's powers are mutant, not technological, and she doesn't have an emotionally-abusive, purple-haired Ken doll to lie to and be mistreated by.

You got Magik, the coolest one on this list, COMPLETELY wrong. First off, teleport disks are her mutant power. She got the sorcery from being trained in Limbo, where she became their leader, not just Sorcerer Supreme. And you forgot the part where she freaking grew up there.

Blackbolt's big power is his voice, Dazzler absorbs this and turns it back on him. Death of X is an easy 4 comic run if you want an easy pick up to get involved. Inhumans vs Xmen is what it leads to.
Ilyanna's power is not Sorcery. That is something she learned from Limbo's Storm and Belasco. Her mutant ability is the creating of teleportation discs, which allow her to immediately travel to any place at any time. Even between dimensions.
Yes forge was her main piece for a while but I think she ended up with black panther... something about obligation and her being revered as a goddess in Africa and him being a king there and all.... no 100% but I know I read that somewhere.

Actually, almost all of these mutants are pretty well-known. Nate Grey played a big role in the 90s X-men/Avengers crossover event battling the monstrous entity of Onslaught. (Loved that series by the way). Longshot, as shown in the video, was featured in the 90s X-men animated series, and also in several comicbook stories and groups (like the Exiles volume one). Everyone should be familiar with the rest in this video. Who doesn't know Forge, Sunfire, Danielle Moonstar, Dazzler and Cannonball by now?
Fantomex, Dazzler, & Magik have been in a lot of other series other than X-Men. They're well known these days. The latter two are involved the the IvsX story now out. Danielle is also gonna be in the New Mutants film soon as well as Legion is getting a show this month.
Didn't she end up with the X-Men during the Messiah Wars era - either before or after her brief stint with X-Force there? Honestly don't remember. Loved that run of X-Force though :)

Dazzler is likely one of the characters that they used to create the premise for Jem. Her original comic book was very similar. In fact, one of the applications of her sound-to-light power is...wait for it...the projection of fully realistic, three-dimensional holograms.
Legion is too fucking OP, he is like 2nd strongest mutant (if Jean Grey doesn't have Phoenix Force), and Legion was the reason why Apocalypse came to Earth
Legion can posses/absorb powers/abilities which is not an Omnipotent ability, so Legion can only stay like Nigh-Omnipotency, but hey there would be a chance that he can beat Franklin Richards right?

When I watched Dark Phoenix in theaters with my boyfriend I freaked when Dazzler made her cameo. My boyfriend looked at me confused and said "Who's that?" I told him we may have to break up (we didn't, but I gave him grief for the rest of the evening for not knowing this awesome character).
Haven't heard of a few of these. Must b from after I got out of comics in the very early '90s. Both Majik and Cannonball were pretty well known in the '80s, especially Majik who had her own comic mini-series.

Darwin has always been my favorite mutant. Hate what they did to him in First Class, still pissed about it. His adaptive/reactive abilities has always been a personal favorite of mine; forgot adamantium claws, controlling metal or manipulating the weather. ✌️O.o
I’ve always had an interest in Nate Grey aka The X-Man. He seems like a really awesome character, and really badass! Also, I like the fact that he’s basically what Cable was supposed to be.
Dazzler is the most underated. Unlike other characters who generally win in the last minute by doing something they could have and should have done at the start, Dazzler power is finite. Her power has ammo and can only be used based on what she can change sound into light and store. Even what she can store is limited as it slowly drains. No sound and she can create enough light to see in the dark, stand next to a 747 and she can produce enough power to blast through one like a rocket. She should be the easiest to write because of that yet she is offer overlooked completely. Her main attack is essentially Yu Yu Hakusho's Spirit Gun where she fires laser bullets from her finger shaped like a gun till she is out of energy. Based on her ammo source she can be the weakest member of the team overshadowed by Jubilee, produce a blast that will leave Cyclops and the rest of the team in shock and awe, or snap her fingers and cause a 360 degree explosion that would rival a tactical nuke based on the power source she is pulling from.
Great job on the list! Correction for y'all regarding Legion. You said he suffers from Dissociative Personality Disorder, but the correct name for that diagnosis is Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder).
Fantomex. I think he's overrated, even as "obscure" as he is. All complicated backstory and powers, no personality to speak of -- he was Morrison's attempt to parody the 90s-era badass, before fans missed the point and took him seriously despite that.

Dazzler is likely one of the characters that they used to create the premise for Jem. Her original comic book was very similar.
In fact, one of the applications of her sound-to-light power is...wait for it...the projection of fully realistic, three-dimensional holograms.

Legion is too fucking OP, he is like 2nd strongest mutant (if Jean Grey doesn't have Phoenix Force), and Legion was the reason why Apocalypse came to Earth
Legion can posses/absorb powers/abilities which is not an Omnipotent ability, so Legion can only stay like Nigh-Omnipotency, but hey there would be a chance that he can beat Franklin Richards right?

When I watched Dark Phoenix in theaters with my boyfriend I freaked when Dazzler made her cameo. My boyfriend looked at me confused and said "Who's that?" I told him we may have to break up (we didn't, but I gave him grief for the rest of the evening for not knowing this awesome character).

Ive loved the cover art for Dazzler since first seeing an issue as a little kid. Can’t say I’ve ever actually READ any issues but I loved the design!

Dazzler is the most underated. Unlike other characters who generally win in the last minute by doing something they could have and should have done at the start, Dazzler power is finite. Her power has ammo and can only be used based on what she can change sound into light and store. Even what she can store is limited as it slowly drains. No sound and she can create enough light to see in the dark, stand next to a 747 and she can produce enough power to blast through one like a rocket. She should be the easiest to write because of that yet she is offer overlooked completely. Her main attack is essentially Yu Yu Hakusho's Spirit Gun where she fires laser bullets from her finger shaped like a gun till she is out of energy. Based on her ammo source she can be the weakest member of the team overshadowed by Jubilee, produce a blast that will leave Cyclops and the rest of the team in shock and awe, or snap her fingers and cause a 360 degree explosion that would rival a tactical nuke based on the power source she is pulling from.

I think he's overrated, even as "obscure" as he is. All complicated backstory and powers, no personality to speak of -- he was Morrison's attempt to parody the 90s-era badass, before fans missed the point and took him seriously despite that.
