Well I will say that Nathan Summers isn't entirely a clone. He's still partially since Madelyn Pryor is a clone of Jean. Scott's genetic contribution is organic though.
@@chefdhNate is what Cable has the potential to be if he didn’t have the techno virus. I would agree a variant is probably the closest thing to what Nate is to Cable and it played out in the comics in an interesting way. The closer they got to each other the more they began to experience each others lives from having basically psychic backlash. Yes Maddie is Cables mother, yes she has magically powers along with her Grey cloned powers, but it’s still Jean Greys DNA AND Maddie Pryor ended up being hardcore linked to Nate grey in the 616 universe for a long time, and in other universes when he traversed and got his DNA X stamp so, crazy all around. And I’m not 100% agreeing with variant but it’s the closest label to explain how Nate and Cable relate to each other.

She had a really sad backstory, and her main motive was taking care of her siblings as their surrogate mother--who then went missing. By the time Magneto was the leader of the New Mutants, he promised he would do everything to find them. That's how much people could sympathize with her. I'm surprised Psylocke isn't on here either. She was in the animated series for one arc (she is amazing), but they don't really explain her backstory. She was one of the movies too, but again, no backstory. She was Captain Britain's sister, and became Captain Britain for a while, lost her eyes, and gained them back by Mojo who gave the name Psylocke to her. Despite being initially just a telepath, she was able to fend off Sabretooth, earning her a spot on the team. She becomes a more active fighter and can summon a psychic blade when she gets her body switched with a brain-dead ninja, Nyorin, and is brainwashed into being Lady Mandarin but her psychic bond with Wolverine breaks through all of it. Remnants of Nyorin were in her head so she started wearing tighter, more revealing clothes, and even flirted with Cyclops--who was taken. Two things about Nate Grey and Cable. 1: don’t forget Cable was born in the “present” time, infected with the techno organic virus, then taken to the far future to be treated and survive, also his mother is Madelyne Pryor and in XMen 97 the baby is Nathan Charles Summers, who is Cable. 2: Nate Grey wasn’t born he was basically lab created from an alternative reality Jean and Scott DNA in a tube, was let out as a child but was given an accelerate growth by Mr Sinister. I already knew and figured that the baby was Cable but I did not see that ending for episode 2 and I’m like “IS THAT Madelyne Pryor and not Jean!?!?”
Seeing Jubilee even on a list about "X-Men characters nobody knows about" just makes me old. I say this as both someone who remembers her in the 90s X-Men cartoon as a little kid, and remembers that whole thing she had with X-23 after turning into a vampire around 2010.
How come no one is not talking about Silver Samurai? He's technically my favorite mutant samurai villain and yet he's already been forgot after his live action appearance in The Wolverine
😂 I’m pretty sure this guy isn’t a comic book reader. Every one of these characters on this list is well known and some are even had pretty parts in the books
So basically the New Mutants and a few others, haha. Dani Moonstar, Wolfsbane, Cypher, Cannonball, Sunspot, and Magik were all in the original New Mutants series. Legion first appeared in that series. The only big NM that were left off were Karma, Magma, and Warlock.
Since there’s a lot of X-Men animated shows, I’m hoping for an X-Men animated universe that has interconnected stories. And not reboots of shows that happen every few years.
Xorn is a perfect example of how not to do a villain. Don't make a cool new character, then be "Psychye, it's the one guy you already knew the whole time."
At this point, the X-men probably be better off having an anthology film series that center around every X-men characters that are actually popular in the comics.
19:51. Making a pun. And why not all three? Legion once altered reality, then went back in time to try to kill Magento, but ended up killing the Professor, erasing himself from existence. And somewhere, one personality escape, forcing him to track the personality down. Interestingly enough, James McAvoy, young Charles in the X-Men movies, portrayed a different but similar character in the movies Split and Glass. 24 personalities in one body, physiological changes depending upon the personality, and one personality has super strength and can climb on walls.
Loppers a great RUclips channel, but theyve an affinity for telling half the story. Case in point, Sunspot has multiple powers, some were mentioned here, but his primary power is to absorb solar energy & turn it into physical superhuman strength. Where he could [initially] lift only 1 ton as a teenager when his powers 1st manifested, he can now lift 50 tons. His other powers of flight, & energy blasts, are just a bonus
Same, along with Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Beast and Meggan. All arguably deserve a better chance to shine than what they they've gotten so far (even Beast). Your other picks are solid as well, especially Psylocke.
@kotobukijake7773 was Meggan from Excalibur even in any x-men movie? Kitty and nightcrawler was and they might not have been able to use Captain Brit. As he's not a mutant But Megan?
To the best of my knowledge, I don't belive Meggan has appeared in any media outside the comics. She's generally been overlooked even there. Absolutely the poster child of a cool X-Men charcter (broadly speaking) that hardly anyone's heard of. And I'm not sure it matters that Captain Britain isn't a mutant, especially since a) his twin is, and b) Fantomex was on the list. Personally, I think it's past time we see a good, solid adaptation of certain Excalibur storylines,, and even if they chose to just throw these characters on the X-Men team itself it'd be nice to see them. Cerise, Daytripper and Pete Wisdom too.
It would be fun to see Gladiator(Shiar) mopping the floor with many supposely powerful characters( he threw juggernaut over away from Muir island as if he was nothing😂😇🤔in the phoenix saga, the real one...)
Who's a mutant with powers to annoy? Or powers to make you sleepy? Or powers to produce unlimited super glue? Or powers to make how you run or walk turn into prancing?
You start with a character from the 90s.Animated series?! That no one watched?! Reaĺy?! Ok. Got it at the en there, but hilariously genuine reaction enough to leave.. 😂😂
How about Forget-Me-Not. He’s in lore been there since the First Class, but his power is that you forget an him if you aren’t looking at him. He’s basically the Silence from Doctor Who, minus the power of suggestion part. There’s also Bailey Hoskins, who has the power of Self-detonation. The catch is: he can only use once….

Loved it. Did you start with Jubilee? Arguably one of the most recognizable characters in X-Men history as of 1993... What about Goldballs? He has the power to shoot little golden balls out of his body. Poink. Hypest Underrated Anime Fights: Takamura vs Hawk has to be there. Top 30 Best-Ever Members of the X-Men! Glad Darwin made the list! 1st class did him dirty A ton of characters who have been shown in movies and TV shows… And not one mention of Exodus… good job. “It doesn’t work like that” must be the most overused line in sci-fi history "No one knows about" Then start with the character who starred in the cartoon that got many of us into comics, to begin with? Maybe "some don't know about"? I think you should have included Adam Warlock and ForgetMeNot on this list. The irony of ForgetMeNot's power alone would have been great for this list. It’s insane how many of these are great cards in Marvel Snap. Man I love that game and I use many of these characters in different decks 14:38 Charlie Heston played Cannonball very well in the movie, despite how to trash the story writing was good list So happy to see Cypher here. His mutation is extremely valuable and very useful. And his friendship with Warlock is so sweet. An under-rated mutant I think is Karma--she was initially the leader of the New Mutants and an extremely powerful psychic who can possess other people--to the point where the Shadow King decides to possess her. Top 20 mutants no one's heard about: *Finds clips in X-Men TAS The timing is great for this video. I am re-watching all of them late as well. Love It WatchMojo.
Magik in the New Mutants was cool.
Now the next thing we need is a Midnight Suns movie or TV series
Let’s hope some of these X Men can get more recognition soon. They’re all pretty cool in their own ways
Armor needs more attention
Legion is up there with the most powerful mutants to ever exist.
Very good list. I like all the characters. Bishop, Psylocke and Polaris should be honorable mentions. X-Men comics have so many great characters and stories worthy of adaptation.
Nate grey and the age of apocalypse was my favorite comic event ever. Every time im reminded of it, i still remember how excited i was for every comic that was released in that event!
Husk, Surge, Dust, Scout, Emplate and Beak!!
Sunspot is getting the X-Men 97 boost!
A ton of characters who have gotten shown in movies and TV shows… And not one mention of Exodus… good job.

Fun fact: Dazzler has a long-running solo series which is basically a romance comic with superheroes. It's wild!
Great list, I totally agree with Havok, Multiple Man, and Magik! I personally want to see these guys introduced or see more of them: Random, Strong Guy, Mr Sinister, Colossus!
Love It WatchMojo.
I’m so happy all the new mutants (Magik, Mirage, Wofsbane, Cannon, and Sunspot) we’re in this list, they indeed have very cool powers and backstory ❤
Glad Darwin made the list! 1st class did him dirty

X men 92-97
Legend ❤
Ah, Watchmojo, makes a list of unknown X-Men...filled with characters featured in TV and movies
What about Goldballs? He has the power to shoot little golden balls out of his body. Poink.
Those things are not only heavy they can be lethal with enough velocity.
1. Cypher appeared in X2 cameo. he was the blonde teen boy amonge the captives. 2. I like Forge in Evolution series in where he can turn his arm into a multi-tooled robotic device. Recently, he's show taking his powers to the next lvl of tree house technology. 3. I must admit, that I thought with X-Men 97' Jean was gonna give birth to Nate Grey aka X-Man, not Cable since he was to b from the year 3999 in the og series. 4. Sunspot's 1st live action actor Adan Canto sadley passed from cancer. 5. I like Sunfire's outfit from the game X-men Legends 2. 6. An underrated missed x-men, don't know about the rating but Mojo's assistant Spiral is someone I like to c more of. 7. Multiple Man's powers r on my list of abilities I wish I had. Don't know much of him, pls tell me why he's both good and bad.
I think you should have included Warlock and ForgetMeNot on this list. The irony of ForgetMeNot's power alone would have been great for this list.
“It doesn’t work like that” must be the most overused line in sci fi history 😂
"x-men no ones knows about" proceeds to list off mutants who have appeared in multiple movies and tv shows...
Magik isn’t really well unknown anymore being that she now has became X-men stardom and gain huge popularity
@@kennyboggs3676 could be stupid they can have MJ be in a forced relationship with d-bag with glasses… oh wait🤦🏾

The timing is great for this video. I beem re watching all them late as well.
You got a favorite xmen character from this list? Mine is Magik, I think everyone knows her.
Perfect!
@@AaronStanton66 it is wolverine and Strom
How come no one is not talking about Silver Samurai? He's technically my favorite mutant samurai villain and yet he's already been forgot after his live action appearance in The Wolverine
Me: Lifelong X-Men fan since early 80's. First issue was #149.
Mojo: #20 - Jubilee.
Me: Nope! Not even!
😂 I’m pretty sure this guy isn’t a comic book reader. Every one of these characters on this list is well known and some are even had pretty parts in the books
It’s insane how many of these are great cards in marvel snap. Man I love that game and I use many of these characters in different decks
Jubilee is an egg with no salt.
Since there’s a lot of X-Men animated shows, I’m hoping for an X-Men animated universe that has interconnected stories. And not reboots of shows that happen every few years.
Mutants that you didn't know: basically all the New Mutants
Can't Marvel bring in The Age of Apocalypse so legion can have a greater role?
Ain't no way that Jon Snow get to have a cool sword and Arya being a goddamn wolf 😂
Maddox in Peter David's XFactor run was amazing
Tabitha Smith aka Boom-Boom aka Boomer aka Meltdown
So much potential for these mutants, hopefully they will get justice soon enough.
Yall missed Forgetmenot 😅
Magik is one of my top 5 X-men
1. Rogue
2. Magik
3. Psylocke
4. Archangel/Angel
5. Beast
HM: Blink
Same, along with Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Beast and Meggan. All arguably deserve a better chance to shine than what they they've gotten so far (even Beast). Your other picks are solid as well, especially Psylocke.
@kotobukijake7773 was Meggan from Excalibur even in any x-men movie? Kitty and nightcrawler was and they might not have been able to use Captain Brit. As he's not a mutant
But Megan?
@kotobukijake7773 Rachel summers I want to see her more then Cable
I saw Last Stand in the theater, and it made me so mad I blocked it out, and have zero recollection of Multiple Man being in that one. 😅
Very nice video👌👌👌
Thank you for putting some respect on Havoks name!!!
IF you can find other X-Men that are less appreciated, hope for an eventual part 2 please?
You forgot that Jubillee can create a nuclear explosion out of thin air.
It would be fun to see Gladiator(Shiar) mopping the floor with many supposely powerful characters( he threw juggernaut over away from Muir island as if he was nothing😂😇🤔in the phoenix saga, the real one...)
Legion was such an interesting show. It really expanded on mental manipulation past directly forcing others to do something with your mind.
Some of us are nerdy enough to know most of these; I think I missed all of one.
Longshot is not the only mutant whose power is good luck.
Domino does exist, her limitation is different though than Longshots.
Who's a mutant with powers to annoy? Or powers to make you sleepy? Or powers to produce unlimited super glue? Or powers to make how you run or walk turn into prancing?
The Blink that "died" during 1994's Phalanx Covenant & AOA Blink are the same person
Some these characters on this list were pretty known due to having live-action adaptations
You start with a character from the 90s.Animated series?! That no one watched?! Reaĺy?!
Ok. Got it at the en there, but hilariously genuine reaction enough to leave.. 😂😂
Hold up, Kitty gets replaced by jubilee in the animated show, replaced by Wolverine in the DOFP movie, and she doesn't make this list!? Outrageous.
I’m not finished washing the video but If forget me not isn’t #1 on this list that’s the biggest missed opportunity fail ever lmao
Somehow even this video forgets about Magma. I thought for sure she'd make the list
Number 1. Wolverine 😂
