I purchased this back in 2017 for $649. I didn't really care about getting a DELL that was on the bleeding edge as much as just getting one that was a little more powerful. Looking up the specs, not only can this be upgraded to 16GBs, It can take up to a SATA 3.0 SSD. So, it's pretty future proofed for the time being.

I'm very certain, 100%, that you skipped the beginning of the video where I explained that there won't be any Windows installed on the new SSD. I also provided information about what you can do and shared links. The new drive does not come with Windows pre-installed; therefore, you will need to install Windows using a USB boot drive. You can find the link in the video description. I have created two videos-one on how to create a Windows USB boot drive and another on how to install it. I hope this clarifies the information for you.

Now, type diskmgmt.msc , and hit the Enter then you will see an extra space in BLACk and can right click on C or on black partition and do extend.

Where is the cloning software
For cloning software, I recommend using "Macrium Reflect." It is a very easy and straightforward application to use.
After replacing my hdd to an ssd it says there's no bootable devices found.
