- All Hail the Machine God
Artificers are the inventors of the impossible and the crafters of the arcane, capable of assembling the most wondrous and deadly of magic items. Clerics are the devout ministers of divine will, imbued with celestial power to heal the sick and smite the unworthy. Put them together and we get priests of arcane science and the machine god’s clergy, bedecked in all the powers that can be assembled by god or man.

I love the machine god build. It reminds of one of my favorite animes "I didn't want to get hurt, so I maxed out my defense" (animes have weird but specific titles)
Unlike other half caster classes, Artificer levels are rounded up when counting for multiclassing. So a 3rd level Artificer/1st level cleric would have the spell slots of a 3rd level full caster whereas a 3rd level ranger/1st level cleric would only have the spell slots of a 2nd level full caster.
I think Artificer has another exception where their spellcasting class will rounds up for multi-classing; I think it is burried in Tesha's.
yep
Can you elaborate pls
@CavityTaster for most half-casters, you divide their class level by two and round down when factoring them into multiclass spell casting levels. With Artificer, however, you round up. I think it's because they get spellcasting at level 1, where the others don't get it until level 2.
its insane the views on this channel are varied, should always be in the easy 10k or above, the information is really useful and the jokes slid in + commentary are always funny
I appreciate that! The algo hates our infrequent posting and shorter content (which we believe is more valuable).
Mending is a cantrip and Voice of Authority requires a 1st level+ spell
Love your content, just wanted to point this out for people who want to build that character.
My favorite artificer/cleric is the tempest cleric + Infiltrator armorer artificer. (Throw in a little rogue in there too mwah)
I'd like to see a multiclass video for a Swashbuckler Rogue and a Warlock. I'm thinking that the Cha-heavy matchup could be fun and interesting.
I’d like some input on a character I’m building. I call it the bronze elephant. Loxodon bronze draconic bloodline sorcerer, taking the aberrant dragonmark feat at 4th lvl to grab shocking grasp that uses my con as its modifier. I’m considering multi classing into fighter for battle maneuvers like parry or bait and switch.
Sounds MAD. Sorcerer is Cha. Aberrant Dragonmark is Con. Fighter is Dex or Str and Con. If you are starting Sorcerer and you haven't focused on Cha, you will have a hard tier 1. (Because of the lack of proficiencies)
Mending is a one minute cast time.
Not going to be spamming that in combat
