I'm in the process of buying one. I have ideas on having some fun with it. And making a video of it. Great review on it. I enjoy the video.
It can see liking water pipe under the ceramic floor? (Hot water) for plumbing
After updating C5, I couldn't take a digital photo with a thermal photo together. Could you help me, please?

Looks great and thanks for the review 🙂👍although I gotta say, in this day and age why the heck is there no video capture or even a better smoother processor. A 30 dollar burner phone has better performance than these pocket thermal imagers.
The framerate is actually limited by law. «The U.S. government allows thermal cameras with frame rates less that 9 fps to be exported without a license.»
@@allusernamesistaken Yes, I'm very aware of ITAR restrictions; the framerate is one thing but I'm speaking of the internal processor and its OS. It's very sluggish and slow to respond to touch taps, the boot and wake times are horrifically slow, and lacks some basic features like Video recording and several other things. It feels like tech from the early 2000s.
@@mikeag You’re right. It’s very slow for a costly and recent product. Also, the built in 5mp camera is worse than any old vga camera I ever used. Impossible to get a sharp picture.

I've had 2 in a row with bad batteries. Professionals save your money & upgrade...
Thats why i got Bosch gtc 400 c. Just because it has removable battery which is compatible also with other Bosch devices, if have any. Battery was the decision maker between Bosch and Flir C5 sicne they are both in approx same price category. I dont trust batteries.
Stuff like this use it outside. Waste of time...
