How's the light n that tent booth. Video makes it look yellow filtered seems it would be hard to get a good spray without regular lighting. The paint came out good tho but that could be due to all the experience yall have over an amateur.
@Midnightautorepair awesome info. Thanks for the reply. Subbed also. Love the DIY stuff yall do and the fact yall take time to answer questions. Thanks again
@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS sounds good interested to see how the lights help n make a difference. N watch everyone I can. Learn lots. Actually have an idea I'd like to try n see how it'll turn out. Rustoleum grape with that ghost purple over it u mentioned to me n the live stream
Turned out very nice! I’ve painted candies and I just want the other watchers to know that doing something small like a fender or motorcycle tank is MUCH easier than doing a whole car.
The Candy mixtures turn out best over metallics but it would be cool to shoot one over a pearl and we plan on doing that in a future video Thanks for watching
These tents look like they would get the job done but would not last long in the summer sun honestly i believe its worth the extra money for a inflatable booth they seem more efficient and overall just easier to setup and takedown
Yeah the only drawback with an inflatable booth as we both know is one hole and it's done with lol there's ultimately no substitute for a properly built shop but many options out there Thanks for watching
I watched a guy on RUclips take rattle cans and sake them up and then used a screw to pike a hole in the top of the can He then filtered the contents of the spray can in to a paper filter He then put that paint in to a spray gun and painted a car Came out very vice. Also if you put a UV lamp in there and hang some sticky fly paper near it It will help keep the bugs down to a minimum. Nice Job !
I'm glad you mentioned that The bugs were horrible at his house lol yeah that's a pretty well-known trick with the spray cans when you can't find a color in anything but I'll probably do some of that on a future video just be careful when you shake up the cans ahead of time you can do it without shaking it up it just releases the aerosol lol Thanks for watching
Paused - Man, I think you read my mind sometimes 😅 I been trying to decide on how to enclose my carport. I'm looking at some material that's used for greenhouses. It's clear and it'll help with holding heat in... I'd go with a tent but I can't find any under a $1000 that's bigger than 20 x 10 x 8.... 10 foot wide just isn't wide enough (for me). Thanks for the review! It helped a lot 👊🏻🤙🏻🇺🇲
Another great video. Pretty cool color. I have a question though about the tent. Any idea what they rate the tent for as far as wind load? It seems like from watching your past videos you guys don’t seem to get the winds like we get in Kansas and Oklahoma that are strong enough to pack off a sky scraper building. I had thought about using one of these myself for inside my shop but it didn’t seem like it would be big enough for doing gooseneck horse trailers. Anyway if you know what the wind speed I would like to know just for curiosity. Thanks again for the video. You do a great job
Not really sure what they're rated for but it comes with all the necessary tie downs and everything to fasten it with metal stakes so it does account for The possibility of wind and all of the tarps on it have multiple tie downs that we put up so it's a very well thought of product if you want to take a look at it Thanks for watching
Loved this video as I'm interested in "oranges" for my lil hot rod. Y'all mentioned larger flakes for the silver to get a "better" glitter. What name brands of silver metallic with larger flakes would be advisable? Never shot a car but, I'm seriously thinking about giving it a go. TIA, Jim
Krylon on makes a glitter in a can that would go great over top of an existing metallic to give any kind of transparent base a little more pop so you can look into that we probably will do it on a future video I already bought the can to do it Thanks for watching
Not trying to let the cat out of the bag but I have an awesome orange ultra shift coming up in a few episodes so be on the lookout for that it's extremely cool
Would that Pearls you normally spray in your gun spray through the nozzle of a custom spray can? I can get custom mix spray cans from a provider in my area but I don’t know if it would plug the spray nozzle.
You guys do some neat stuff, but you really need to read directions! 2K clear is NASTY stuff! It will kill you, even with fans! Wear your breathing gear all the time with 2K or professional paints...
The amount of ads have become ridiculous on RUclips.... And cast through the TV they seem worse. I'm genX & if I complain about commercials you know it's gotta be bad😂
Excellent result. Well done.
I love the way that turned out & the spray tent seems to be a good size.
Right on guys
👍 😎 🤙
Looks great for rattle can
That turned out nice. you would never know it was from a spray can.

It's not bad but yes does have a yellow tint to it... Some lights would help

Always my man appreciate you for watching!
I have some lights I'm going to let him use we're going to install them in a future video and probably do another spray out got to get him set up lol

Add candy turned out pretty good I wonder what it would look like over one of your black colors and the tent turned out pretty good 👍👍

Nice color. Candies are always very impressive.
Spray Max is good stuff
Good morning Jonathan! Another great video brother
Good morning Hank I appreciate it!

Man that turned out good! Trying to get my files back so i can finish editing my video to get it all up for you guys!
Yeah man can't wait to see your perspective on this episode you got a lot better footage lol Thanks for joining me as always it was a blast

@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS Would like to see some spray can paint in a gun. 👍
@BigBlueMotors any particular color combination?
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS Nantucket Blue with small silver flakes in the clear coat or the silver flakes mixed in the paint with a regular clear coat finish.

What a nice job guys ! I really liked the color choice.
That turned out pretty nice, great job Josh!

Yes pearls would spray through aerosol now you won't get as good of a pattern as you would through a paint gun but it can be done Thanks for watching
What is the stand you are using?
I want to say Josh put that together himself he can take that question lol Thanks for watching
Lol that's actually the frame for a pop up tent that I had only halfway up... It worked fine
An inexpensive option if you need to replace a fender, door or bumper on a daily driver.

I know the feeling but like everything else they got to make their money as well as we do lol Thanks for watching anyways I always appreciate it!
Don't most candy paints come in a can?
Nice tent. I'd paint a car in there for sure.
I should have specified spray can lol Thanks for watching
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS I enjoy your experimental paint jobs. Thanks for entertaining and educating us about the possibilities.
