Interesting fact: 5 of Mrs. Carlson's children went on to become relatively prominent figures. A CFO, a lawyer, a state senator, a 4 star marine corp general and a lieutenant Governor. No clue what happened to her other kid.
As a parent of two, adult man-childrens, I am both appalled and joyous that this song exists. Your back catalogue is a new, guilty pleasure. I'm sharing this with my man-childs now, so they can appreciate the joy and be appalled by my comments. 11/10
This is fucking hilarious. Is this Udio or Suno? Got any advice for lyrics prompts? I haven't had any luck so far with getting anything this good. I've just been trying a bunch of covers.
Thanks for the kind words. We did this one (and most of our recent content) in Udio - the vocal clarity of Suno has taken a nosedive since late spring. We worry a bit that people will get whiplash if we post any more of our Suno content (even stuff that's months old) just because the quality is dramatically different. It's annoying because Suno will often give a tighter composition but it's a rough trade-off recently. We've actually gone as far as to remix a few of our unreleased Suno songs with Udio and may put those out down the line. It's hard to give advice about prompts. We've never generated lyrics and write them ourselves, so we couldn't really tell you anything helpful on that end. Otherwise, some familiarity with song structure and style tropes in the genre you're interested in definitely helps. Udio is less forgiving than Suno for structure. The 32s model of Udio is harder to work with, but generally sounds better, and it gives you the opportunity to screw around with genres and styles before committing to an entire song. It's definitely a more arduous process though, but the end results and ability to edit (inpaint) are usually worth the trouble. We could go on forever about both platforms but we're still no experts and we're out here fumbling around just like everyone else is. But hopefully some of this has been helpful for you or anyone who happens to read it. Thanks for listening and good luck with your future songs.
@@AlmostVinyl Holy shit. Thank you so much for the extensive advice. Your kindness is noted and appreciated. That's all beyond helpful. I love that generative models came out and we all decided to sprint at 10,000 hours together.

Rumors said that he's the only one who still visits her tho
@cosmicstingray7790 probably because Mrs. Carlson was a deck to the rest of them. 😂

Sounds like it could be a piece out of a musical!
Me: Am i adopted ?
Momma : aww of course not baby go ask your father.
Daddy: No but it can be arranged
I’m singing this to ONE of my twins tonight.
Make em fight and sing to the one who wins
It’s scary how good this is
Don't want to brag, but this song is about me. Just ask my mother, who always used to say 'I should have stopped after you!'
My mother actually wrote this about one of my brothers.
This one has a real Jimmy Webb feel to it, by the way.
The mum we all deserved. 🙂
as the favorite of my step mom's kids im about ready to send this to her
Lol we all have our favorite. Anyone that says they dint is lying.

Which singer are they making fun of though? I love the 70's but I don't want to say its Linda Ronstadt, and I can't put my finger on it 😭
