By far favorite set. Ive had my set for 46 years. Card 350 Mickey Mantle is my favorite set. My set is ungraded. Don't mess with graded cards. Brilliant colors and i was 8 when set was issued. Many cards are MINT as i hand picked each card going to shows over 5 year period. Yazstremski is nice too Love your videos. Ungraded guy Michael j.
Also - when I was looking up this set your video was the first to appear. Very informative, and thank you! I found additional 1960 cards (in addition to the full set) within the many boxes including an extra "mint" Mantle that my dad marked as paying $180 for. Got a long way to go going through these cards...anyways...thanks again! Need to understand how grading works and the best way to get this done. Going to be quite a project.
1955 and 56 were the 1st 2 years with horizontal view for a complete set. 1960 was the only set to do it in the 60s throughout the whole run. Dual player horizontal was also seen in key rookies in upcoming years like 68 Ryan and Bench, 67 Seaver and Carew, 66 Sutton and Jenkins, 65 Steve Carlton & Joe Morgan. Leader cards went to a dual player horizontal view throughout the upcoming decades after 1960 but that was the last Topps flagship set to feature all horizontal. Good stuff, keep the videos coming. Glad to see you back at it, hope you are doing well.
Thanks for the rundown! I forgot about the 1955 Topps being horizontal, I think that is the first year, right? Maybe I'll do a list of those next? Thanks for the insight and feedback 🙏🏻
A great list Matt! I recently picked up the Frank Howard rookie card. Very overlooked card, he was a beast and one of the greatest long ball hitters of all time. I believe he may have been #26 on this list from the PSA listings I saw for an 8 grade. Love these vintage style videos!
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR absolutely I’m doing a lot of player runs of guys that I grew up watching playing baseball. Quite a few of them, I thought were deceased but turns out they are still alive and been picking up a lot of their autograph cards fairly inexpensive which I think is awesome!
Love the Yaz rookie........ Set building is very time consuming. I made the whole 1955 Topps set & the 1948 Bowman set within a year & a half many years ago........All raw cards, none graded.
Is the'56 Topps card of Clemente his rookie card? It should be worth a lot more because of the Nostradamus action on the back of it. There's a picture of a Dodger scout and him with the scout promising him the Brooklyn Bridge if he signed with them. Just got the wrong bridge.

I just inherited this set...Need to get them graded! They're in great shape! Beautiful cards.

Lucky guy!
I love the 1965 Set personally. 💥
Tons of great sets to make lists for, 1965 is on there! 🙌
1960! Numero Uno! Most original,most colorful,best photography,best mini-sets,inserts,everything!Where can I find one in high-grade condition?⚾️
Awesome video. I am currently working on the complete set. So many amazing cards in this set.
Norm Cash is my favorite 1960 card. Norm with a Cleveland Indians Cap on his head

One of the greatest home run hitters if all time? Don't lose your sense of humor. Life is a bummer without it .
@@kevinmadden1645 I worded it carefully. Long ball hitters, I did not state home run hitters. There's a difference
Really enjoy your content and the vintage.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the feedback, Toby 🙏🏻
Loved this video! Keep it coming.
Great video. Thank you for all the work you put into it.
Thank you, Don! 🙏🏻
I like the mantle and mays from this set
Like this for vintage 40s, 50s, 60s at lower grades 4 thru 8s.
1956 topps is a great year also.
Once again, The Mick is #1. Extremely difficult to get a 10 in the 60T set! The next Mantle on my want list is the 60T.
Great Vid Matt, I have been heavy on Vitage Baseball card this year Big-Time..
Thanks, Robert! Vintage cards are picking up some momentum lately. Get them while they still cheap!

VINTAGEEEEEEE 📈💕
🙌
My favorite would be the Willie McCovey rc
Love the Yaz rookie........

Just got the wrong bridge.
For me its Micky, i have his 1960 card in ex cond. Plus im a yankee fan and i was born in 1960...so i guess thats why😅
Enjoyed the video…great info but, each time you said “mint to near mint” it sounded redundant once you established a PSA 8 grade.
I now only need #509 tommy davis to complete the set 572 cards never thought i would make it
I have about 15, should I get them graded, they would probably be an 8 or more. Should I go PSA, or SGC?
My favorite is the Ernie Banks because it is a beautiful card and the only one I have. Lol
The Ernie Banks is a nice one 👍🏻
I was wondering if you would answer my question. What does it cost to get a card graded

The Yaz rookie is easily the best in my opinion
Nothing wrong with 8’s of that vintage.
I have a lots cards but i don't know how to send psa grad my card
I have a detailed tutorial on how to submit to PSA right here for ya: ruclips.net/video/sZ-godaflKk/видео.html
Did Rocky Calavito finally make it to the Hall of Fame?
Damn what happened to PSA collector? He disappeared for like 3 years. Popped up in my feed randomly. Now dropping some PSA march LOL!
Hey Playboy 👋
Hey, brother 👋
Willy McCovey sounds like "love," not "cove!"
Would have rather seen the cards horizontal!
Roger Maris didn’t make the list?!?!?! 🤔
Of course he did, #14 - 6:35 👍🏻
Pete Rose?
Rose's rookie card was 1963.
Mc Cuv ee not Mc Cove ee =) RIP
I think you pronounced McCovey wrong 🤔
Close enough. Cheers!
