I installed your shifter and cables in my 2011 Cayman S, and the difference was incredible. Zero slop, super nice shifting action. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Really high quality product and workmanship. Good luck with the Vlog!

Had the shifter installed in my 991.1 c4s. Unfortunately the numeric shift lever has too much play with the oem shift knob, creating rotational slop in the mechanism. Might go back to stock because of this.
Would much prefer to have a full length video and hear all the commentary than have the video speed up through many of the important parts. With a longer video the viewer can decide what areas to fast forward through. Question: Why was the supplied silicon hose not installed to dampen interior vibration?
That is just the difference between a vlog and an installation video. But to answer your question we never use the Silicon Tubing when we install cables because we never get any extra noise through the cabin when we install them.
Such an amazing product! Been looking for one for my 79 911sc! Any idea if you guys would be designing this shifter for the older 911s?? Can this be installed into an Aircooled 911?
Interesting, is it more ore less the same for the 997?
How did you remove the center console? How is it held in place? See 4:29. You magically remove without showing how. Instructions leave this critical step out. Instructions just say to carefully remove center console. But it’s not clear how to do this. Can you please explain? Thanks:)
I search for this video to do research before I buy Shifter and cables for my 991 GTS... Disappointed by the political T-Shirt.. You almost had my business.. Gonna have to go with OEM Porsche short shifter.
