Who else thinks that the Midgarsalom would be the most powerful world map monster on the FFVII Remake? That would make a lot more sense with the cutscene after the swamp.
Found myself wanting to know more about said dragon ^^ seeing as im almost at HW content, and I thought "Hey! MrHappy is a boss with the bestiary!" one keyword search later: Boom! Thanks MrHappy! keep doing what you do!
Yay!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that Midgardsomr would have something to do with the new Keeper of the Lake dungeon coming out in 2.5! I personally think since the Keeper of the Lake dungeon is part of the story for patch 2.5 like snowcloak was to 2.4 leading to Shiva, it might be part of the opening to the revival of Midgardsomr and then picks up in the Heavensward expansion as the new main story based in Ishgard :)
Actually we had to thank Midgardsormr for halting the Garlean airforce... it's because of his intervention the Garleans decided to put a halt on their advancement to conquer Eorzea. Also regarding the new dungeon, "Keeper of the Lake". I think it would be way too soon for Midgardsormr to revive and a beast that massive and influential to the game's lore would be too wasteful to be a normal dungeon boss - at least make him like a Trial or something. I do like your imagination on the airship being the dungeon itself, but I don't think Midgardsormr would be the final boss of that dungeon.
And also you said the ability for beastmen to summon primals because of the huge serge of aether, could't we seal primals using aether or using something similar to when we tried to seal bahamut again?
He might be a trial in heavensward. Maybe even 2.5. Theres a usual thing thats been occurring like primals every patch. Would like to see an 8 man dungeon again though.
Nearly everything in the world could be attributed to the Twelve's hands, that doesn't mean that if we pray to them they'll magically switch sides. Praying didn't do much to stave off Bahamut, did it? That being said, I do find it odd how "we" don't have any Primal or something else that can compare to the Horde's or the Beastman's Primals, only thing we got was some vague hints from Gaius before he bellyflopped.
Gogito4 He states that the twelve themselves are our "Primals". Louisoux himself even mentions the hypocrisy of using the Twelve to stop Dalamud back in 1.0, as it invokes the same rituals that the beastmen use to summon their primals, an act that we have been seeking to stop. There is one other Primal that the people of Eorzea can summon, but that would be a bit of a spoiler~
Mrhappy1227 Aye, that was the hint I was describing. I just didn't want to take it as absolute truth until we actually see a summoning happen, you know? And yes, I know who you are talking about, it's best to leave it like that until Final Coil becomes common knowledge.
Gogito4 Well I mean, technically we already did summon them once, the twelve were summoned through desperate prayer and aether in the End of an Era trailer.
Loved listening to this and watching a little of it while starting up the "Keeper of the lake" great videos man! love all your stuff.

What a badass mythology. Im hopping for one day for SE to include Shinryu on FFXVI, I used to think Midgardsorrnr was him.
congrats, request granted

'Mirdgardsormr may become a great threat to Eorzea' Mirdgargsormr after actually being revived meanwhile is the WoL's best bro hanging out with them.

certainly did more to help than the Ishgardians.
if he revives we wouldn't be killing him in the dungeon, he'd play a role in the expansion.

Mr. Happy, you're totally awesome
Can we get a video about drivania/au ra/ coerthas
Please update these old vids with the new FFXIV expansions and FFXV - so much has happened to add to these :D

But considering midgarsomr was made by the twelve and we eorzean pray the twelve wouldnt he be on our side?
Midgardsormr is the king of the Dravanians, and holds no allegiances to mankind

First time i heard midgarsoma was like... Wtf? Thanks for the clarification.
the ship is called THE AGRIAS? damn im moving to the Empire right now.
The ff14 section of him needs to be seriously updated. :)
He and his dragons fought the Garlians. More than Ishgard has done. Who's the real bad guy?
And now he's your minion and mount :V
we better get some garlean looking stuff in there... also no matz please...
