    I picked my 2023 up Monday!!! The only one on the lot. These cars are really becoming popular. The drive is smooth and I LOVE the kinetic seats!!!

      What is kinetic seat? What does it do?

      @@Lucscarsandstocks your seats adjust while driving to keep you comfortable. It's pretty awesome.

      Did they keep the center touchpad? In the 2023 CLA they got rid of it for some stupid coin holder it's ridiculous

      Just picked up my 2023 GLA45 too. Love it. Even though it is the A class suv version, it def has better fit/finish than the 21 A35 I traded in. Probably was difference between a covid car vs non. I def so feel cars during the pandemic had more minor issues than what I usually see.

    For the price premiums we face in the US, I used to write off models like the CLA and GLA because they still felt like difficult justification for many of the buyers that were looking at the sub-$40K segment - after working in industry for a while now, and having spent considerable time with the GLA, CLA, and A-Class here in the US, I genuinely feel I could own one and happily daily drive it for many years; they hold up well as they age, they're quite simple (as far as MB's go) to own and maintain, they're quite cost-effective when spec'd out appropriately, and they drive better than lower tier contenders that are optioned up to $40K. Ride comfort, isolation, responsiveness, and handling are all definitively of Mercedes character, safety and other key areas are top notch, and a lot of the minor things we may not always think about - say touch points, button tactility, the consideration put into high-traffic parts of the interior - are all what set these apart from their competition.
    Direct competitors like the Q3 and X1/X2 can definitely offer you a better value when you start to really add things on, but the GLA would be my personal choice in the class. Its GLB sibling is also a fantastic option, surely a bit more practical with its squared-off body, but the GLA styling definitely does it for me. It's well worth your time if you're somewhere between a highly optioned premium vehicle and an entry level luxury vehicle - they do not disappoint!

    Beware all those modular engine systems of GLA models. Repairs will be expensive because you can't just replace a hose: you need to replace a "system".

    • @jgalt5002
      @jgalt5002 Год назад +1

      Dumb question what is a modular system and what would cause it to fail

    Thank you for showing that the back seats can go down all the way. The older models only allows one side to recline and that was annoying when you need the extra space.

      Hi. With your current GLA 250 how was it when it came time for oil changes? Was it expensive? How about any mechanical issues?

    • @jgalt5002

      @@lilig813 oil change is expensive ! Other than tires I am at 55,000 km no issues
      I had the battery replaced under warranty !

    When you reviewed the ‘22 GLC you said it was noticeably quieter in the cabin. Compare that to this one if you can.

    Is this a bad engine? Or does it eventually go bad? Price is amazing but makes me scared to make the purchase because repair cost can probably be wild 😅

      Its too new to know.
      What I know is that out of the big 3 german brands Mercedes these days is the one to go for if you just want a comfortable simple car. Like this GLA.
      Id get the CLA its a coupe so more sporty, lighter and its faster with the same engine. Weight is so important with cars!
      Less weight is better in all aspects period.

    Thanks. My mom just got this car and I’m wondering does it have an auto hold feature? Like when you come to a red light and press the brake, you can take your foot off and it will stay on a hold brake until you push the gas again like my BMW?

    • @highlymedicated2438
      @highlymedicated2438 Год назад +2

      Yes it does but you have to double tap the brake pedal when you come to a stop it's weird if you haven't figured it out yet
