Not everyone wants to see paddle shifters go away. I use engine braking all the time. Though downshifting in the GLA 250 is quite loud.
I love the color of this SUV!! Nice job Ben.
Interesting looking at the configuration for this on their website, they don't make you pay for a giant package to get heated and ventilated seats.

I just bought a 2022 GLA 250 yesterday with 27 miles. No sun roof but only 41k with taxes etc
how is the car?worth it for the price?

I had a GLC as a loaner last week for a tire change on my GLA45. Only get the GLC if it’s the 43 and up model. Reg GLC rode kinda bad in my opinion
Have MB fixed the cylinder head defects on this model? Read in a few forums that its a common fault.
I have bought a brand new GLA250 facelift 2024 recently, including the plus package and leather seats - I had a similar car before, the BMW X1 xDrive25i.
I must confess I am pretty disappointed with the brand (I have never had a Mercedes before).
An extremely annoying thing in the car is the pivoted rear camera, very noisy when opening/closing and it opens and closes all the time - it’s like having a wrecking ball loose in the boot/trunk. I could accept (not happily, I must say) the noise when you engage the reverse, but not when you are not trying to park or when you reduce speed on every terminating road or out of the blue, without any apparent reason - it just doesn't make sense and worse, there’s not a software option to set, keeping the camera always open.
Also, the internal air conditioning vents are chromed, very bright in my opinion - I can understand the retro design, but the problem is that the right and left grids reflect on the right and left windows exactly over the side-view mirrors outside, being difficult to see properly. Additionally, there are some LEDs inside the vent which at night make things even worse.
I hope Mercedes minimizes those problems in the next few months, tweaking the firmware/software and/or doing a recall to replace the camera and changing the vent grids for darker ones, at least the ones close to the doors, or I will seriously think about selling the car. It’s a A$96,000 (USD 64,000) car, for Christ’s sake!

No, it's lifted like an SUV. I purchased mine 2 weeks ago and I am enjoying it!
I sat in the back of one. Im 6’1 and was amazed how big the back seat was for such a small SUV. Lots of leg room and my head doesn’t hit the ceiling. 4.9% financing on the GLA right now. Dealers are trying to move them.
