    This is exactly the type of toilet design I want for my tiny house. It will be a normal inside toilet but I just want the “outhouse” design. Lol. Thank you!!! It’s beautiful!!!

      Haha!!😂 Who we talking about? Jason or one of the dogs?
      Thank you so much for watching!! We have changed pretty much all of our systems since this video…. We now use a turkey fryer to heat rain water for showers as it’s just a lot less to go wrong. Then a little battery powered shower head. We do have a fan that runs in our “composting”toilet when the generator is running. Heck we even upgraded the bathtub since this video.

    • @sunnyseason6543

      @@JLGWoodscapes I was hoping you had a system I could use for everyday with littles and a newborn. We use a cheap pressurized garden sprayer for the kids. It helps with controlling the water consumption and keeps the water temperature better. For the adults, we have boat foot pumps set up with a bucket for the shower. And connected to the 55g drums for kitchen and bathroom. Planning to bring in a tank for potable water as my region is dry. The foot pumps work great and are cheap. I guess I wanted something closer to normal. But maybe I should accept the new normal for what it is.

    • @JLGWoodscapes
      @JLGWoodscapes  4 месяца назад

      @@sunnyseason6543 oh my❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations on your baby. We have used a garden sprayer too & it works really well. Have you looked at the battery powered submersible shower heads? They are on Amazon $20-30. Ultimately that dropped into a pail we heat up works great. Sounds like you have some good systems in place already but always fun to try other ways. We had a gasland on demand water heater/shower that ran on propane…. Unfortunately I would not suggest that for young kids because we always had troubles regulating the heat. It definitely could burn one of them. Ultimately ours froze & broke but I was never impressed with it anyway.

    I love myself a good bear paws stew, but using bows to hunt them is . Here in Europe we use 9.3x62mm Mauser for that. European black bears are twice the size and more of American black bears and it is too dangerous to use arrows or bolts.

    Looking good...., I mean bath house ..too;o), and...Greetings from South Florida, Lantana, and....I love Key West, been there maybe 50 times, and Eden House, in there! See you there, maybe, sometimes=), Ps. How do you get water in your bathtub?? There will be shower too? With a little electric pump, right? I have a Summer Cottage, right on Arctic Circle, Finland, Off Grid, no power, water, planning to add shower into my sauna there, with a little electric pump, place is right next to Ounasjoki River, cant wait to get there again, been more than 3 years, and...you guys need a sauna there too, buy one of those Barrel Saunas, it is a MUST !=) Good Job, keep it up, guys !

    I love this bathhouse. You two are the best RUclips couple out there (IMHO)! Hopefully, the word will keep spreading.
    Regarding your video, what camera are you using? Is it a phone with a 0.5 zoom? I just tried to record our bathhouse yesterday and it seemed so claustrophobic because the lowest zoom I have is 1.0. Nonetheless, our initial interior tour will be out next week.
    Thanks!

    what is the tankless heater you use and how has it worked for you ?

    • @JLGWoodscapes
      @JLGWoodscapes  5 месяцев назад +1

      Well it was a Gasland from Amazon… it worked well for a while until it didn’t. Might’ve been user error??
      We actually went simpler & bought a turkey fryer instead with a large pot & also a cheap battery powered shower head. Honestly it’s simpler, nothing to winterize & plenty of water to shower. Not sure we will do a tankless water heater again….

    Turned out spectacular... just love it. May I suggest a power supply such as a Jackery. This will power your water heater and you can power led lighting for the bath house. I wouldn't leave it there because of thieving bastar**s.
