Spiders absolutely fascinate me and absolutely terrifying me at the same time. The only ones I'm not scared of and will touch are jumping spiders. And tarantulas don't really scare me! It's the smaller and long legged ones that do! I know most have long legs but, if I saw a tarantula and a daddy longlegs, I'd touch the tarantula any day!
I used to be extremly aracnophobic. It took me 15 years to overcome the worst anxiety. Eventually I can handle it and got myself a pet spider. The one I currently have is the size of my hand. It is possible to get hold of the fear but believe me - I would NEVER put my head in a box with spiders! I salute you Coyote Peterson!

I don’t have arachnophobia, but I have a slight fear of big spiders or venomous spiders, but tiny spiders (like the jumping spider), I find really cute. :)
i was looking at a jumping spider up close and it jumped right on my nose i almost had a heart attack

I am proud to announce that videos like this pretty much cleansed me of my arachnophobia lol. Exposure therapy worked wonders for me

I used to watch Coyote all the time when I was younger and thanks to him I don’t have much arachnophobia now
I am a recovering arachnophobic. Even the smallest spider used to scare the hell out of me. Until one day I sat and forced myself to watch a spider spin its web. At fist I was really scared, but the more I watched, the calmer I became. I was amazed at the beauty! This was when I made the decision to conquer my fear. That day, along with videos like this, and many others have REALLY helped me. I now have a deal with the spiders in my home. Leave me alone, and I will leave you alone. I am still not to the point of allowing spiders to crawl on me, don't know if I will ever get there, but at least now I dont scream or kill on site.
I love that he shows people that animals don’t necessarily want to attack or bite. Their just trying to survive like everything else.

I was scared of spiders growing up and as I grew up I actually had a few very easy to take care of pet spiders. Having them as pets and feeling safe watching them helped me lose that fear of them. They're incredibly fascinating creatures and they're honestly so misunderstood

I like spiders generally and not afraid of them. That being said, awesome video and a great demonstration of how easily we can coexist will these interesting and most often beneficial creatures if humans weren't so afraid of them.

First time I remeber seeing these spiders was as a kid in florida.We stopped at a gasstation to pee but the bathroom was out of order, so I went into thewoods behind it, walking along looking for a good spot, I went in looking at the ground so I didn't trip. I looked uo just in time to see a web and orb spider inches from my face. Looking around They were everywhere.
When you have fear of spiders its not about them biting. It's just seeing them with their creepy crawly legs. 🕷

To be honest, watching Brave Wilderness has honestly helped me with my arachnophobia. They still frighten me, but Coyote has really helped me understand that spiders are animals that are just vibing out there like any other creature, and that they're not out to get me. I've watched loads more spider videos thanks to these guys and now I even think they're really fascinating and kinda cute. Don't know if I'll ever handle one, but I like their existence and think they're neat.
