    I have been doing it almost 3 months now. I get up at 5.00 am everyday because I have to leave for work at 7.00. I don't mind getting up that early because I know the benefits of the Kriya are great. I find I have more energy and focus during the day at work. I used to drink tea and coffee every 2-3 hours, now I don't crave it anymore. I think I will keep it up in future too. I am so grateful to Art of Living 💓💕

      @@dudu88xx It has to be learned from a Art of Living teacher. There is a registration fee and it's totally worth it. I just finished a second course in meditation as well. The organization runs free schools for marginalized kids in India and relief programs too.

      I was doing Sudarshan kriya for about last 4 years. But after developing very rare Neurological disorder called as Palinopsia, i left it. I personally think it can suit some and not suit others 🙏

      @@karannain5901 It has been years now but it started helping immediately, very gradually. Just start out gently and make it regular. And on the days when it feels overwhelming and impossible, just do 5 minutes or so of gentle yoga. One little step in the right direction. Then maybe you will feel like doing another 5 minutes after that, but if not, that’s okay too. Just take the step every day. Wishing you all the best! 🙏❤️

    Day 1 of the course, I felt so good...slept well and after Day 3, there was no way I could give up on the quality of sleep and rest I felt after practicing SKY.

    I'm on day 2 of COVID..I did Sudarshan kriya today.I felt better. It feels like the pranic energy is supporting me to overcome the fatigue of COVID.... Hope to heal soon..

    I practiced Sudarshan kriya in the evening as I had no time in the mornings for it. I had to stop as I would wake up at 3AM and can start the day, all fresh from the sound sleep.

    Sudarshan Kriya effect on gene is remarkable.

      Our body functions by making new proteins in the cells induced by gene expression for those proteins. Therefore, gene expression is not synonymous with change in genes. Any exercise can induce gene expression. For example increase in muscle mass induced by weight lifting is result of increased production of muscle protein induced by gene expression for that protein. This is misleading in my opinion to say Yoga changes genes in your body. Whatever change it brings is temporary in that if you stop practicing yoga the change disappears.
      This doesn't mean I am denying immense benefits of yoga.

      @@anaesthesia1549 Technically, they should probably have said that yoga changes epigenetics. I'm sure there was no intended deception. Many people aren't familiar with epigenetics. Btw, I agree with you that yoga, especially the wide variety of breathing techniques, is immensely beneficial. I try to breathe slowly and deliberately whenever I think of it, no matter what else I'm doing. It makes a huge difference in my clarity of mind and focus.

Sudarshan kriya is a breathing technique which has immense benefits and medicine for more than 150 diseases and even now researchs are going on.. It hs benefited in cancer patients by the suggestion of doctors and reslted and cured 3 times faster than that of who are taking treatmwnt only.. It helps in circulation of blood.. And increases the oxygen carrying capacity.. Hereditary characters in genes, herreditary diseases from ancestors can be stopped.. And it won't affect our coming generations too

      I can share mine! I have a lot of problems lol. Seriously, mainly depression and addiction and today was my 7th day doing this. I have to say that I am feeling so much more connected to myself. My problems/circumstances are still here and very real, yet I feel this practice is giving me some unexplainable mental and emotional strength to see things from a more intelligent perspective. Honestly the gratitude I feel for that alone I can barely put into words. Ive just been very lost and this is giving me the centering/peace/clarity I’ve so desperately needed. So anyone reading this if my problems sound similar to yours in anyway, give this a shot. Its working for me better than medication.

      @@samuellennyviner Its great practice and would definitely work for you I can say that. I have been doing it for 8 months now. It has improved my overall energy and attitude toward life. I don't feel anxious and worried like I used to 8 months. This CoVid period was a blessing in disguise for me. I also did a meditation course last month with Art of Living. Keep it up 🙂 Good luck 🤞

      No they are not. As much as I know, Sudharshan Kriya is completely a different technique taught only The Art of Living Foundation.

    I have been doing Sudarshan kriya for 6 years now.. and am under antidepressants alongside..I used to have panic attacks..so I took medicine.. but the thing is despite of both practices hand in hand..I am not in rid of my over thinking problem.. hence it's gotten better today...but I am not 💯 percent satisfied..can anyone please help..

    If it is good for humanity then why people charge for teaching. If money involved then it is a business to service to humanity. Gurudeva says serve the humanity who is a godly incarnation

      So yeah, Back in 90s and first few years of the new millennium, Sudarshan Kriya was taught free of cost and AOL functioned only on donations. Later management of free education and food got more and more tougher as AOL had to expand their reach to the whole world. So it was advised to charge for at least the first course people attended and for the rest of their lifetime the course was to be offered free. And that's how it's been since 2003, if I'm informed correctly. But do check it up.

      I will clarify it.. Now art of living is taking care of more than 50000 orphans and providing them education too.. Running free schools.. As we know for taking care of a single is there is expenses.. Here the benefts are two he is giving or helping many people by giving sudrshan kriya
      2.the amount from that is utilised for services and now for covid relief funds.. And in flood periods 10 crores are provided for hlping..

    If you have forgotten the steps, speak / text the teacher you learned it from. Learning it from RUclips or world wide web is precarious. no one who teaches it or learned it from a trained teacher or practices it regularly will put it on the internet because there a proper way to learn this technique. Sensible one will not tinker with their breath or their mind.

    It's unclear from this video what control was used to compare the difference in gene expression. It would be interesting to compare a regular jogger with a regular yoga practitioner and see if there is any difference.

      Yo ignoramus! A long time AoL follower and volunteer here. All the Art of Living programs are available in rural areas for substantially low donation and many times completely free. Sudarshan Kriya Yoga was revealed to Sri Sri exactly 36 years ago. It was not practised or taught before that, though you find a mention of a similar yogic technique in Patanjali Sutras.
      Lastly, if you are gonna challenge a scientific research, do it facts.

      I have seen Art of Living teachers conducting in villages near Solapur about 3-4 years back when I used to live there. Also a good family friend is who is also an AoL teacher, took Basic Course (now called Happiness course) in a village where around 150 folks attended for free. Now I live in Pune, and here many villages, teachers conduct free courses. Volunteers also conduct Bal chetana shivir for village children and those in orphanages.
      Tell me your area and I may find free courses for you to see and join if interested
