Your build seriously makes me want to step up my daughter's Jeep. Whip antenna, light bar without lights, and paint the factory rims we have when our current oversize tires wear out. Awesome. I can't stop commenting!! Fantastic job.
Looks fantastic! So happy for you. I love it (kind of makes me want to do one myself). It looks just like the Matchbox Jurassic Jeep they put out (btw I have one for you (if you don’t already have) that I picked up when I was looking for the red flat fender that they put out which I finally found.) watching you haul it back reminds me of when I pulled the 1947 out of Michigan. I hauled it on a U-haul just like that and we would look back every so often and make sure it was still following us. We had lots of folks give thumbs up and chat with us at gas stations etc. it was fun. Thanks for bringing back memories!!
That’s awesome!! And yes I’d love the match box! I have a special type of anxiety hauling things like that. I’m pretty sure I was white knuckling for the first few hours and then every time we hit a bump. But it was really fun to see the reactions people had!
Thanks. Yeah I’m super excited about it and can’t wait to really drive it around. Have a new video coming soon that’s more of the behind the scenes of the build.
I think I’m going to repaint my YJ, I was going to bring it back to the old zebra stripes, but now I might go ahead and do the Jurassic Park scheme, maybe with the stripes in dark brown on top of the correct gold color
Congrats! Looks great. I'm planning on starting my build within the next year; still on the hunt for a decent YJ. I already have a tribute TJ but it's falling apart. And dang that trip was definitely interesting! Murphy's Law was with you every step of the journey lol.
@@SimplyMustGo I sure am! I belong to the JPMP Capital Division. My (tribute) Jeep's RUclips is @JurassicJeepDC. Yeah it's been pretty difficult to find a YJ with minimal rust up here in the DC area, with all the salt they sprinkle on the roads in winter.
@@NefariaAdventures that’s awesome. I’ll look it up, I bet it’s hard to find something that’s in good shape. I got pretty lucky with mine. Not a lot of snow to deal with here in South Carolina
Love your videos, starting with the trail videos. Quite a cool Jurassic Park build. I bought my '91 YJ down near you, from a guy in Batesburg, SC when we lived in Blythewood. Keep the videos coming!
could you put links for everything that went into this jeep its ok if you cant find some of the things again but its my dream to have my own jp jeep and so i want to find all the right stuff for it i love the design on yours
Im pretty sure that was ur jeep I seen Thursday going up 77 through huntersville 6/9/22.....sent a pic to my wife n was like thats gotta be the jeep!!!!!
Actually that wasn’t me. There a few up in NC that way. A lot were going toward Charlotte for the opening of the new movie. Wish I could have joined them.
Can I ask what fog lights you used to fit into those housings? I have the OEM fog light housings but the reflector inside is totally rusted and am looking to replace it with something that will fit inside. Your right the OEM fogs are currently going for 2K on eBay!
Love what Jack did to your jeep. about three years ago I contacted jack about turning my YJ into a Jurassic park jeep, he gave me a wonderful estimate for my situation at the time. he told me once I got all the movie accurate parts, that I could set up a time to send the Jeep. However things got in the way, and I didn't go fourth since I didn't get all the parts yet. Fast forward now I have a 93 Sahara YJ and am ready to take it to jack! but I noticed his website for No limit Customs is no longer there anymore, and after messaging Jack on Facebook, I never got a word. I hope hes okay! do you happen to know if Hes retired from making Jurassic park jeep Replicas? and most of all if hes doing alright? thanks!
No limit customs did the conversion. There is a link in the description for them. Cost really depends on how much you bring to the table. Probably starts around $4K
since i dont have a proper jeep i feel like i cant go with this traditional jeep paint scheme of the JP jeep. BUT- i do have a ford, and although its a bronco sport, I think i can get away with making it look similar to the tour explorers lol
Haha. Yeah. I remember in high school gas was .89 cents and I remember saying to my friend if gas ever gets over $1.00 a gallon I’m going to ride my bike everywhere. 🤣🤦♂️
A lot was done beyond the paint job and it was all sort of rolled into it together. Over all I think I spent about 7K on the transformation not including the price of the Jeep itself.

It's hard to answer that. Because it was more than the paint job, I was able to get some parts through them and I had to get / find others and that them install them. I believe it starts around $4,000

V6? Standard engine for the jeep wrangler YJ Sahara was a 4.0 INLINE SIX not a V six, big difference
