I found a 1992 jeep wrangler yj for about 5k with no rust. I'm trying to convince my parents to let me build my own JP jeep while still in high school! This is one of my biggest dreams right now!
This is back in 2014 so I doubt anyone's going to read this but I have been trying to put together a Jurassic Park Jeep for what feels like forever and then my Grandpa died and they got put off and then with medical issues couldn't do it I am so happy to see that there's a community out there that's been helping other people fulfill their dreams/my dreams and it feels so good to see that especially the way of the world is nowadays don't think I'll ever get my Jurassic Park Jeep but I'm so glad there's other people out there that's doing this kind of thing for other people you will definitely get a thumbs up and a subscribe from me keep fighting the good fight
You guys did a great job on this video. Alan loves all of you and the memories he's making with you. Growing up he was the best brother I could have had. Alan looks and sounds great on the Video. He has brought happiness to so many people and I thank you for including him in on this adventure.
They're cheap as fuck I own two, a TJ and YJ one with a 4.2 and one with a 4.0 You wanna see expensive try owning a diesel. Those are astronomically expensive to fix when something goes wrong.
True, jurassic park expresses adventure and freedom, being out there in a tropical island, with prehistoric creatures some are awesome to watch and some are after you... :)
Great way to start the video. A couple moments of silence while you stare into the distance like some cowboy, rocking those Dr. Grant shades. Very nice.
JP is my favorite movie too and also started my fascination with Jeeps. So this is pretty much the best video ever. Can't wait for the RV restoration! I WILL have a JP Jeep! I posted this on Jalopnik's OppositeLock, it needs, more views!
Very cool, I never realized the community of people out there. Also great job on the production quality of this whoever was involved in producing this, nice work, very professional.
I want one of those jeeps so bad! Those 1990s styled wheels painted red look so good! We had a 2004 Ford Explorer. Solid vehicle. If we had one with the stripes and the yellow wheels it would cewl beans!
The shot at the end was pretty cool, I was up on the RPF page when that came up for sale, I had no idea the RV was still in one piece until I saw it up for auction.
I remember seeing one of these at Universal studios CA, and thinking how cool it was. That was about the same time the 2nd or 3rd Jurassic park movie was released, and they had a Mercedes from there movie there as well, but it didn't have the cool 4x4 feel to it like the Jeep..
I wish I could join this group of Jurassic Park Fans one day when after I get a license when I'm old enough three years from now. I've watched every single movie and I am a die hard fan of the franchise. Do you folks ever come to Canada by any chance theAFICIONAUTO
I built that Jeep, the hella 500s on the front I could not find good NOS ones. I flew Chris to GA to inspect it. Also the tag cracked while I had it I see it still has the same front plate.
Great video! I didn’t know there were more people like me out there!!!! Mine Jurassic Jeep will be done next week. It has been taken a year and almost 30K but it will be perfect!!
DoomRulz well, if you want a ground-up restoration it's obvisouly going to be around $10k or so, but if you just want an aesthetically accurate jeep it'll cost you around $3k to get all the paint and parts. Assuming you start with a decent yj.
Badass jeep dude your a talented guy for all the details u did to it, jp will always be one of the best movies ever made also u should drive it to the premiere of jurassic world next summer that would be awesome!
Be pretty cool to do the Jurassic Park theme on a Deuce and a half. I haven't seen one of those yet! And it can still be a Jeep, in a way, since Kaiser Jeep was one of the manufacturers of these big machines!
i think this is the time where i should start grinding up my Work for hours to produce a Wrangler and make it into this bad boy! JP 1993 Fan. Love Those Jeeps. Very Cool. Ohh man. this is my kind of people. And the statement 4:50 Jeeps are Cheap and its the best transportation on Highways and Off Road!
I'd love to make one myself, but it's so hard to find one of those old jeeps in Canada that isn't all rusted out. Might be cool to make a Lost World ML though.
That guy makes the wrong assessment that Jeeps are cheap. Maybe you can pick up Cherokees and Grand Cherokees for low prices, but around where I live (and I'm assuming the US as a whole) Wranglers command pretty high prices for used vehicles. They hold their value well but I think its just absurd how the market for these vehicles has turned out.
I've gotta do this! I already have a red yj, just need some silver vinyl and Jp graffix! Should be about $350 to wrap the Jeep and paint the wheels red myself
Well i have a 2007 Jeep Liberty so while a bit newer than the vehicles seen here, I'm considering a JP paintjob maybe as a dinosaur veterinary or recovery vehicle. :)
hello i live in holland and i want to make my own jurassic jeep but how kan i find te parts because i can find the jeep but i can't find the seats and door panels could someone please help me thx.
great video and amazing people, I hope for the new Jurassic Park that they use the JK jeep wranglers as my favorite jeep so I can make a future replica haha
Being a child of the the 90s and the love of jp. I have come to realize I too want to paint a car jurassic park style. I'm gunna be test driving a jeep soon. So I can see if it's the car for me, I do want a mini cooper countryman so I can make it like the Mercedes Benz of the Lost World.
I hope its not blasphemy but I have a TJ that im doing a black/white edition JP jeep I offroad my jeep a lot and its upgraded a lot with parts. But as for the JP edition I have the decals on the doors I'm looking to get a 5 light, light bar and a hood decal and the 2 black stripes across the jeep and powder coat my rims black. I know its not exact but I have loved Jurassic park like you since I saw it in theaters and its been a dream to have.
A whole 40 member club eh. Must be difficult to keep track of all of them. ;) A lot of clubs and countless members of a variety of enthusiastic/fanatics that follow a certain vehicle or movie icon vehicle, this has to be the easiest one to reproduce. Even the basic no special paint job or modification vehicles of say the 1946 Ford Coupe from Back to the Future (Biff's car) are harder to come by. I can think of a lot of other vehicles I might choose from a movie 1st, but this would be an easy entry level one to have. :)
i’ve thought about doing the Jurassic Park treatment to my 2002 dodge durango. but i was a little disappointed the new movie didn’t have a JW Ford Raptor.

Did you ever finish it?
Stumped what's the update?
@@princeroyal195 unfortunately my update is that nothing happened with the build. It's still on my bucket list though. I will have one some day.
@@cstumpy51 ohhhh

I noticed the shaving cream in the center console. Great detail from the first film.
I honestly cant stop watching this video, Ever since you put it up on the group. And since Ari shared it.
Glad I painted over my Jurassic park paint job.
lol
Just sent my 1994 YJ to the body shop for this conversion!

"Jeeps are cheap" no theyre not, lol
Rex true
Wranglers tend to hold thier value very well.
Jeeps are total shit*
They're cheap as fuck I own two, a TJ and YJ one with a 4.2 and one with a 4.0 You wanna see expensive try owning a diesel. Those are astronomically expensive to fix when something goes wrong.
Cheap is relative
I'm about 90% complete my build. I'm now a full member of the motorpool and got a huge amount of help from the workshop on facebook. All the loves!
No way! They are restoring the RV? Thats amazing!
This is such a well-made video.
Agreed, this is definitely one of his best.
Canadian?
Except for the goofy music.
This Video started it all. When I saw this video I knew I had to get one. Now I have my very own JP18 :D

My love for jeeps started at 7 years of age when my brother got an RC jeep wrangler rubicon for Christmas. I played with it for years!!
This has inspired me to start looking for a jeep to begin my project. Hopefully I'll get to meet you all one day.
Omg that man’s testimony was heart touching.
I don’t know why, but I think 0:00 - 0:30 was the smoothest intro ever.
Long Jeep lover, and always love it when I see one of the JP Jeeps on the road!
This Was My dream vehicle... Jurassic park is celebrating 25th anniversary... My dream remains as dream only.... probably always will be
Really, Really great job! Your love of Jurassic Park shines through! Congrats!

Check out the rest of the series this is what we do. We love making mini documentaries about movie cars.

So glad you actually take it out in the dirt. You guys are weird, but you have Jeeps so you are cool.
This was awesome...so much fun
You guys are doing it right - with the Jeeps and this sort of video production. Keep up the good work and Jeep on!

Awesome group and the jeeps look great.. I am looking for a wrangler right now, and this may have just swayed me back to the YJs.
That music in the background.. Terminator?

thanks! you should! it's easy, cheap and fun
theAFICIONAUTO Where do the majority of the costs lie? I would imagine in restoring the Jeep to full 100% integrity so to speak.
DoomRulz well, if you want a ground-up restoration it's obvisouly going to be around $10k or so, but if you just want an aesthetically accurate jeep it'll cost you around $3k to get all the paint and parts. Assuming you start with a decent yj.

This video seriously made me happy! You've earned a subscriber my friend and can't wait to see the trailer being restored ☺ ❤ ❤ ❤
Thats what I've been wanting to put a paint job like that on my 1990 jeep wrangler yj shara. soon
That guy makes the wrong assessment that Jeeps are cheap. Their using yj's which are quite when compared to tj's
I seen some online with a asking price of 5k usd
the tj is more pricey but the yjs are around 5k max where I live
As an 11 year old teenager fan from Brazil, I will participate in the JP motor pool australian divison
I've gotta do this! I already have a red yj, just need some silver vinyl and Jp graffix! Should be about $350 to wrap the Jeep and paint the wheels red myself
Awesome!!!
u mentioned in the vid that someone was making the ingen hunters jeeps from the 2 jurassic park if u could do a vid on it that would be awesome :)
After watching this video, it makes me wish I had a 1993 Jeep Wrangler or Ford Explorer.
Nice to see Jeep 10. It's very rarely recreated, likely due to the lack of a roll cage.
I also loved the Ford Explorers. There was a European version called maverick
Love this video.
Well i have a 2007 Jeep Liberty so while a bit newer than the vehicles seen here, I'm considering a JP paintjob maybe as a dinosaur veterinary or recovery vehicle. :)

I honestly would LOVE to join this group.....I said for my first vehicle I would get either a jeep or a ford
Roslynguy Same here I'm going for a jeep so I can make it a JP jeep JP24

Automatic kind a ruins it tho.
XenomorphLV426 hate automatic
but were the jeeps in jp 1 manual? Also how did Nedry even get stuck, does he not know he can put it in 4wd?
Rick James they are manual, it’s kinda integral to the must go faster scene
@@charliecoons3346 Nedrys jeep was automatic.
Where was this place just north of LA?
After the JURASSIC PARK RV RESTORATION series is done could you do the modern batmobile. you dont have to but I would really like that

Is there somewhere I can buy one? Please, I want this car.
I am building mine right now. Jacksonville Florida.
I heard that the RV at the end of this video is now somewhere in japan.
However I'm not sure if that's true or not.
"Welcome to Jurassic Park!"
I have a 1995 jeep wrangler yj 2.5l and I wish too do this to mine

Very cool!
Alright... so, this is the coolest shit I've ever seen..
