- Time to do something I mentioned a while ago, Swap out the temporary windows for some safari ones. These windows are out of stock on the website as they only have limited stock but drop them a call as they may have some available.

finally a video (albeit speeded) showing how to get the blinking windows off. i’ve got two fixed and want to change one out. really like the safari window. … one for the never ending bucket list !! well done 👍🏻

Hey Dan. Does the feeling ever fade that your workshop is in your backyard? Or do you still pinch yourself now and then.
I like the windows it would be pretty dope if they came with screens on the inside to keep the bugs out of the vehicle.
Vanshades do a dual blind with blackout pulling from the top and insect mesh from the bottom.
Yep CHEESEWIRE is the dogs mate. Why all the other tools are in there no idea. 🤔Zip the wire round and BOSH smashed it! (scuse the pun)
Hi Dan . Now you have had the safari windows in for a couple of months are they standing the test of time , they have only only just come back in stock after all this time . Are they all working ok . Thanks keep up the good work .

They look great! For your next project after the Polo would be sick to see you take on like a Cat N Tiguan and put your spin on it, something modern VW, slammed of course!

You can also use a “fine cutter” too remove the glass..

I’ve been waiting for these to come out, time to start saving again lol. Already got sliders in the rear 3/4 which are awesome.
They look great but is there a mosquito net system (e.g. retractable like a blind) to go over them too ? Pretty much essential to have bug nets in the evenings with the lights on - especially on the continent.
You passed us today just outside towcester, van looks awesome in the flesh!

I know you did this ages ago and aren’t doing the channel at the moment. Just wanted to say thanks for this one. I swapped out my sliding windows after seeing these last year. Totally changed my van and I love it!

@@kevinkelleher7868we just did the kitchen side as we only had one opening window. It’s great and we are really happy with it. I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be nice having both. We got it fitted locally and they did a great job.

Yeh I wasn’t sure that I would like the super-black tint but on reflection they look great!
IMO the Safari windows look so much better on the the van and they also have a quality look to them, I've never fitted these but they look a lot easier to fit than they do to remove🫣👍
