Wow, finally no leaks!🤗 I've just replaced all the clips etc on our 2008 t5 shuttle sliding windows, no leaks as yet. But I will be keeping an eye open on your website! Well done!
I bought my first product from THQ and now I will only buy from you. The lads will confirm this. Good quality, good price and when it comes to customer service. ... fantastic!
Nice work Transporter HQ ! It's worth mentioning that the factory T6 slider windows don't just leak they CORRODE at the back of the bottom slider rail out of sight where an integral metal strip is bonded to the glass and can COMPLETELY FAIL ie. drop / sag enough for the slider window to blow in / drop out ! Extremely dangerous and have just been reading about a shocking current case on a T6 forum . Looks like a very timely solution from you boys - well done !
Amazing work 😀👍I have been waiting a long time for these - thank you for all the reply’s you sent me on all the videos for these windows - I am going to order a full window setup for my van. 2 x flush sliders - 2 x fake rear quarters - 1 x fake rear + vanshades. Is it possible to register for pre order?
Fair play for going to such lengths to get the right quality, and for hopefully getting them in at a really good price. I’ve got fixed windows atm with Vanshades - I’m guessing if I eventually swapped to these I’d need new Vanshades?
As with everything in the world right now, all the factories seem to have delay's and blame covid or Russia :( These are now arriving early August. Sorry for the delay.
These look great. I will be ordering a set as soon as they are in stock to replace my shuttle sliders that have rusted and dropped off the bonding. Are there a range of tints available?
Will you be able to supply flush sliding swb rear quarter windows? We have found having that added ventilation at the rear when the bed was down, or the sliding seats are all the way back is really helpful and would be looking for these on our next van but don’t want flush in the front and non flush in the rear.
@@THQAutomotive that sounds promising! What’s the demand like for the sliding rear quarters atm? I’m guessing not that high - I rarely see them on the road.

@@THQAutomotive that would be amazing 🤩 I know I’d appreciate it and my kids certainly would! Want the van shades as well to finish it off but want then in alcantara is that something you can do or is it just carpet only?
Could you just make it possible to pre-order them now? You have ordered them. I need windows. I'm going to be waiting 12 weeks either way so it would sure take any uncertainty out of the process and make sure I don't have to wait longer than necessary. While we are talking, I am surprised you don't have full kits for simplicity on your site. I have a LWB T6.1 panel van and like most people I am going to need a fake drivers side rear quarter, a real fixed passenger quarter, two of your new opening windows and 4 van shades. You could probably lead me through that journey a lot easier than you do. Still loving your work, just saying.
We don't want to do pre-order until we have a confirmed arrival date. The problem is if you pre-sell, everyone chases you when they get delayed. We just don't have the man / woman power to be replying snd updating everyone. We tried packages but there is always something different someone wants. Instead we've made the website really easy and user friendly so you can order exactly what you want and not get things you don't need and end up in land fill etc
Have you tested these for security? My t6 kombi was broken into via the standard sliders really easily so they need replaced but I’m hesitant to replace with something equally vulnerable and was considering just solid glass.
@@THQAutomotive Indeed they will. In my case they just popped the latch from the outside - quieter and probably easier than smashing the window. Happy to email you if you want the details
One thing I would never ever do is lower the suspension and fit large wheels , it ruins the look for . Must be an age thing . My t4 Westfalia was lowered and immediately put back to standard .
Lowering the right amount with the right wheel and tyre package will massively improve the ride quality and handle. I'm currently driving a brand new T6.1 and feel sick after a long journey. I'm used to quality, comfortable suspension with massively reduced body roll.
This is a labour of love and it says a lot that you are looking to price it to the customers’ benefit.
It really has been a labour of love. The goal was alway's to make them look smart, not leak and importantly, be affordable.

Easy enough for a windscreen company.
Glad these will be available soon do you fit them too and what’s the cost of fitting please 🙏

I always wonder why there is no double glazed windows for the transporters? Do you know?
Price, depth and benefit. They are a big echoing hollow box. Double glazing would make very little difference to sound and temperature.
